This outlet gives u an wonderful varieties of South Indian cuisine . They offered a great varieties of dosa but I always love to order masala dosa from this restaurant . Their dosa is super tasty and also in a good portion . The food is always worth to the money . They maintains the proper hygiene of the food with a neat and clean packig . The food presentation of the marvellous . And also they delivers the food on time .
The service of Mahesh Kumar was outstanding...He was generous.
I visit the Paschim Vihar branch regularly with my family, and have a consistently amazing experience. Our server, Mr. Mahesh Kumar, was an absolute delight and helped us personalise our order to make the experience even better.
This place serves great Dosa's , there Mysore Masala Dosa is my favourite along with Podi Idlis are great, also there Dahi vada is there speciality.
Hats off for serving such good south Indian food.
Orders Reva onion masala Dosa , podi ghee masala dosa n Dahi Wada . Podi served plain without masala and later masala was served separate in a bowl . Dahi Wada could have better . Reva onion masala dosa was good .3/5

My favorite place in childhood. The only dish I remember having here is Masala Dosa with Sambhar. This restaurant always had longest of queues because of its popularity and slow preparation. But the taste of the dish was always the best. Would love to go and check out this place again soon.

Heard a lot of negative reviews abt sagar ratna, but my own experience changed my mind. food quality and quantity was good, everything tastes well sply. Pineapple rava kesari. Polite staff and service was amazing.
Sagar ratna has always been my favorite, an amazing dosa place where you can have typical south indian food. Dosa is obviously top of taste here, but Be careful while ordering and selecting dosas as some dosas like Garlic Dosa is on a bitter side and one May not find it as tasty as other dosa specially Masala Dosas which i like most. Sambhar is best that no one can beat. As far as this place is concerned, I visited last week here. Staff was polite and service was good, will visit again.
This is one of my favourite South Indian restaurants. I really like the preparation of this restaurant. The sambar and the chutneys they serve are a perfect blend of spices and very flavourful.
My favourite items on the menu are:
1. Madras idli Fries: this is gunpowder coated idli which is fried. It tastes amazing.
2. Dahi vada: they make it very perfectly sweet n salty.
3. Rasam papad: always order it.
4. Mysore masala dosa
5. Mix vegetables uttapam: it has a lot of vegetables n very nicely it is cooked.
6. Last I always have filter coffee and I love it.
I ate at Navratri from here and ordered the thali. The variety was unbelievable. It was easily something that two people could share. I also ordered dum aloo and naan and it’s been my favourite thing to order from there! I can’t get enough of the variety here.
Undoubtedly the best place to have South Indian.
Nothing can beat this.

Food tasted very good but arrived a little cold.
Sagar ratna has always been my favorite but today thanks to onion masala dosa i am forced to give it only 4 stars instead of 5. The onion masala dosa has no unique feature but only an extra dose of under cooked onion which makes the dosa taste awful. You will be forced to throw the onion out.
Very nice restaurant for family
Ordered a masala dosa. To my surprise the tamarind chutney added a tangy flavour to the dish which made it taste differently nice. Coconut chutney tasted nice too. The service is quick.
The ambience is fine. And the quality of food has got way better than it was about a year ago. We ordered fried idli, which was something different and quite good and the Masala dosa was fine as well. The service is also good.

“Well, I changed my rating to 5 because I have been going to this place many a times and I have seen it improving whether it be the north indian and Chinese dishes or the interior and furniture.”It was a Great Dinner last night at this place. Since we came to this place after so long time, we were thinking whether the quality of food has increased or decreased. Fortunately, it has increased. The dishes in the pictures are veg chowmein which was very nice 👍 and tandoori aloo that were awesome😍. The masala dosa and veg manchurian gravy were very good. We also ordered a dahi bhalla that was good. In the main course, we took a Dal makhni❤️ that was flavoursome and the paneer tikka masala was also very delicious👌. The grand dinner was completed by Rawa Kesari Halwa which was very inviting 😋👍. I would suggest everyone do visit this place because now it’s actually a great place to visit in terms of quality, quantity, presentation and variety of cuisines.
This restaurant in Paschim Vihar is there for the longest period of time. We ordered Spring roll masala dosa and rava onion masala dosa, the quality of the dosas are very good here. I would have given 5 star rating but deducted 1 star for their slow service. They should do something about it. Must visit for their lip smacking menu.
Food here has always been tasty. Rates are fine. The seating is comfortable and the crowd is mostly pleasant. The only problem they face is change of staff frequently and so new staff is always untrained and thus they loose first time customers along with old ones.

There are many branches of SAGAR RATNA. We visited the Paschim Vihar branch.
The restaurant is a perfect bliss for the vegetarians and South Indian food lovers. Although they serve various north Indian food but the place is well known for it's south Indian delicacies and is perfect place to have a good time with your friends or family.
Sitting- There is a large sitting area on the ground floor and is perfect for small to large group of people. It is a perfect place for family outings.
Specialities- This place is famous for its south Indian menu. They have a special menu called the chettinad menu, it includes some really delicious and interesting specialities from chettinad region of Tamil Nadu.
Service- The staff at the restaurant is extremely cordial and helpful. The service is surely up to the mark and quick enough.
What we had :
Idli chaat - This one surely took our heart, it's a unique blend of Delhi wala chaat and fried idlies. It was really delish. A must try!
Chettinad dosa - Dosa served with three flavours of potato and yummy chutneys. You will enjoy this dish to the core for sure. This topped our favorites list.
Ghee roast masala dosa - Which ghee roast dish can taste bad? None. This scrumptious dish is totally worth a try.
Paneer makhani masala dosa - Yet another awesome dish. You will have a melt in your mouth experience that you will definitely love. The potato masala was served separately with the dosa.
Filter coffee - After south Indian meal a filter coffee is a must! It was served nicely.
By the way did I mention sambhar and chutneys were delish!
The overall experience was extremely pleasant, every single item we tried was awesome. If you wanna try something new you should definitely check out their chettinad menu!

The taste of this place is still authentic and good as it used to be decade back!! Have been to so many sagar ratna and have been disappointed lot of time!! But this one is still amazing!! I hold lot of my childhood memories at this one!! Used to be our family dine spot!! Their south Indian thali is as usual amazing, the poori bhaji kurma is an amazing deal!! The best one we loved this time was from their chettinadu style menu!! The Idly chat it was seriously by far the best thing I have tasted in sagar ratna!! That's a must try!!
I love their breakfast combos! Ordered Combo 2 with 2 dosas, 4 idlis, 2 vadas, upma and kesari halwa through Swiggy! What I love the most is the way they pack their food. The dosas come in pizza boxes so they dont lose their original shape. The accompaniments - sambhar, chutneys, etc are also nicely packed in leak proof containers and the quantity is more than enough to feed at least four people. Everything was fresh and tasted great! I especially loved the kesari halwa which was just rightly sweetened and held up pretty well when delivered.
Combo 1. It is really wonderful with large varieties in it. Can easily be eaten by two people. Very attractive rates. Wonderful crowds with wonderful gentry.

Sagar Ratna is known for South Indian but, we ordered North Indian. Dal Makhani, Kadai Paneer, Pineapple Dahi, a butter naan and a lehsuni mirchi paratha.
The food quantity was good for 3 people, the taste was authentic and the pineapple riata was exceptionally good. I loved the spicy taste of Dal makhani and kadai paneer.
It is a budget friendly family place, it is recommended for casual lunch and dinner. 😊👍
South Indian food is the speciality of Sagar ratna and undeniably they are one of the best in the market. But i tried North Indian food here from their menu for the first time and that was paneer do pyaza and what should I say the taste was just too superb to explain the quantity and quality both were just awesome. Will visit again and will try more of their north Indian food
Food is awesome. Really a nice place to go when someone in your family wants to eat South Indian, but not all. Have a good variety for all tastes and ages. Must try the Fusion menu.
absolutely amazing. best south indian food i have tasted in whole NCR is at Sagar Ratna Paschim Vihar. i would recommended podi ghee roast (red masala), Ghee masala roast, Paneer masala roast, rawa masala roast.

One of the oldest property of the sagar Ratna chain.. has been here for more than 23 plus years... very popular with people wanting vegetarian South and North Indian food , along with Chinese preparations.. tasty food.... strongly recommend to start with the Dahi Vada

One of the oldest south Indian restaurant in paschim vihar. Needs renovation. South Indian Food as always 5 stars. Related services was slow 🐌. Location is landmark. They didn't had cheese dosa still it was in menu. Kindly ask what all things are available before ordering. Dahi vada is awesome must try.

Good staff, great to visit with family and friends
I have the following observations about this place:
1. The restaurant maintains hygiene and tables were quite clean.
2. The staff was quite good, they did their work effectively.
3. The quality of food was good but it could be better.
4. The ambience was quite good and I found the sitting arrangement quite efficient.
5. The only thing which bothered me was the pricing, I hope the pricing becomes more optimal to cover a bigger chunk of the lower middle class.
A great place to have South Indian food, combos were good .. though the knowledge of waiters wasn't upto mark. But otherwise over all experience was good.
We visited on the occasion of Holi so there was waiting. After 15 Minutes we got the seat. We ordered Mysore Dosa, Uttpam, Masala Dosa, Ginger Garlic Chowmein, Tomato Soup, Small Idli. The foods were sumptuous. But the order was little late. In fact the sitting place is small. It's on ground floor, you can find little difficulty for Parking.
The place is not apt for gathering of big families. Washrooms were clean. Only food service can be made little faster.
South Indian food is osama,But Chinese food Quality is not up To mark.
