The restaurant is inside the Assam house, it's not easy for passer-by to locate or to even know whether there is a restaurant inside.
The entrance is well maintained and clean.
Restaurant is decorated to give a feel of assamese culture.
The thali has a number of bowls with varied items, all assamese falvoured. Joha rice, mati mahor dali, khaar, aaloo pitika all of it was good. However the chicken fry was not upto the mark, anyhow overall it was good.
Serving time is little delay, however food is good with except the duck meat.
What better than treating your taste buds to a sumptuous comfort meal at Gam's Delicacy.
The food was tasty. Less spicy. This is for the third time i am eating Assamese food and I am very enthusiastic when it comes to Assamese food.
I will recommend this place. Spotless. Reasonable.
They served very authentic Assamese cuisine. And the ambience was nice too. But the service was little slow.
If you are missing homely and specially Assamese food , come here to enjoy it.
The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior decor was tasteful, and the lighting was just right, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable evening.
The service provided by the staff was exemplary. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating special dietary requests. The waitstaff made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal without being intrusive.
Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply exceptional! Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was artful. It was evident that the chef put a lot of thought and effort into creating each dish. From the appetizers to the main courses and desserts, every bite was a culinary delight.
The menu had a great variety of options to suit different tastes, and the ingredients used were fresh and of high quality. It was evident that the restaurant takes pride in sourcing the best ingredients to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
I must mention the wine selection as well. The sommelier's recommendations were spot on, and the wine complemented the food perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The portion sizes were generous, and we left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The prices were reasonable considering the exceptional quality of the food and service.
I visited The Gam's Delicacy Restaurant with my family for dinner. The place has a nice ambience and a friendly staff. We ordered some appetizers and main course. The food was good. The portions were good for the price. The service was prompt and courteous. Overall, we had a decent time with this restaurant.
Cooked just right with the right amount of oil an spices. Wonderful staff, had no great expectations from fish items there. But to our surprise fish turned out quite good. Authentic. The pork dry fry was a perfection! Must mention that the staff was quite friendly too.
Been there so many times!!! Such a homely place with amazing food❤️
This is a lovely location. The food is delicious. The staff is courteous. I ordered a vegetarian thali. The fried vegetables were delicious. It was a broccoli and potato dish. It was fantastic.
The serving style was very appealing. They served the food on a brass plate and bowl.
This newly made restaurant is vibrant and tastefully furnished. The food seems quite authentic too. Though we couldn't get any momos for lunch, the veg thali was interesting, with a big portion of rice along with two leafy veggies, aloo mash, a dal, a raw papaya puree that was supposed to be an appetizer (this we came to know only at the end of the meal when a knowledgeable server explained it to us). The mutton and duck fry and chicken gravy were okayish.
They are very good service provide to the customer and tasty food. Restaurant maintain very clean and hygienic.
Superb mouthwatering taste, clean n tidy affordable price, friendly staffs
Totally worthy place for lunch n dinning
Great ambience, very nice place to chill with friends & family.. in love with the food. Would suggest all to visit once here and experience yourself
Delicious, home-style cooking, low on spice and grease. This restaurant specializes in food from the North-East (in particular Assam, of course) though they do also offer the Punjabi/Mughlai food popular in Delhi. You can order a la carte, though if you're a smaller group, ordering a vegetarian thali (with a non-vegetarian dish on the side, if you want) is a good option. We did this, ordering four vegetarian thalis, a borali fish curry, and a pork fry.
All the dishes were delicious, and the bill came to an unbelievable Rs 1320 - for four adults and one child! Excellent value for money. Plus, surprisingly efficient, friendly staff. Thoroughly commercial restaurants can take a lesson or two from this place.
It was very good for dinner
Pork fry was amazing .You might get cat fish recipe here. Anyone trying to find Bamboo flavour should visit this place. The flavours seem Assamese. I enjoyed the taste thoroughly. Finding parking could be difficult outside during office hours. Good time to go is dinner. Like all bhavans the food is cheap
Gams Delicacy's chicken fry is a symphony of flavors and crispiness that left my taste buds dancing. The perfect blend of spices and the golden crunch make it a must-try for any chicken enthusiast. Each bite is a savory delight that keeps you coming back for more.
The staff at Food Haven were not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They recommended some of their most popular dishes, and I'm glad I followed their suggestions! The appetizers were a burst of flavour.

This place has opened again after renovation of the Assam House. They have a diverse menu and excellent fish dishes. We tried rohu fish tenga and pork with potatoes. The second dish was excellent. Do try the veg thali as well.
