I have grown up eating their biryani (both chicken and mutton). This place cooks some of the most delicious biryani. Though the standard has gone down in the past few years, it's still good enough.

Biryani and butter chicken are the dishes to go for at this place. The pricing is just usual but the quantity is good. And the food is also good.
I ordered for Chicken Lollipop but they came bearing Chicken Afghani, so i asked them for the right order which was Lollipop, but they delivered me Chicken Afghani again, so instead of going through that long process of complaining and waiting, i settled for the Afghani, and my my, it was really tasty!! And also, they value money. So i am quiet happy!
We ordered boneless chicken biryani and chicken tikka from this restaurant. The biryani was ok not very good and not bad.. chicken tikka was better .. u can give it a try..

Let's talk about biryaniii..They serve Lucknowi Biryani as the meat and rice are cooked separately.When delivered, the container consists of mutton rice and the gravy which is a bit dry, poured over the rice... so make sure to mix it before serving.. Their biryaniii is the best for spice lovers.. yes, it is spicy and have a subtle flavour. The essence is unique when compared to any other restaurant.
Next, readerss do.. do and DO order the afgani chicken.. it was just phenomenal. We just lovedd it, so jucy, creamy, tasty🤤 andd.. Lip-smacking!
It was the best afgani chicken we have ever had😍
Last, the meal was economical.. Two Full plate mutton biryani and full plate afgani Chicken costed us around Rs.800!
We will definitely order the afgani chicken again!
The 4* is for Hariyali Chicken only. The Bhatti Chicken was awfully dry and hard to bite/chew.

The place is small and is not recommended for a family meal but definitely good place for a non veg lover.
I went there for a quick lunch. The best garlic naan I’ve had. Though the place is small, the food is amazing. Tastes wayyy better than a lot of famous restaurants

My friend advised me about this place. So, I went to this place at found all the praises were apt for this. The juiciness of Chicken Tandoori with their Green Mint Chutney stole the show for me (yes, I found it better than biryani) . But this doesn't mean that Biryani was bad. It was also very good.

Oberoi Biryani is situated on Shankar Road. It is one of the most oldest restaurants famous for its Biryani. It has a small seating area, not very good ambience.
We ordered one Veg Biryani, kadhai paneer and butter naan. The biryani tasted good but it could have been more flavorful, the paneer was good.
Value for money : yes
"The restaurant business should be about food and food only!"

I had Dal Makhni and garlic naan, and let me tell you it ended my search here, that good.. you see!
But then you will feel like sitting in a time machine that takes you back around 15-20 years when people used to say "let's eat in a hotel", restaurant word didn't surface back then. The feel is exactly the same. Nothing is refined... From plates to staff and even the final bill that lands in your hand is handwritten!
This is the exact reason of it being so low rated here!(or may be zomato is not so ethical 🙄)
But if you love food for the taste of it and not for the looks or say place where you eat it.

They have one of the tastiest food i ever had. I cant believe such low rating of this restaurant because i have been so many restaurants having above 4 ratings but they don't even deserve 3. I have stopped believing zomato's ratings. Anyways anyone foodie around should not miss this place. They are much better than number of costly restaurants in food i have tried their garlic naan, dal makhni, biryani everything is yummy.

Have been there many times now. Food is nice. Service is very poor & on each occasion, we have complained the management about it.
Strangely management is least interested in addressing this issue.
Chicken curry is recommended if dining in Oberoi Biryani.
Other than chicken and mutton biryani they deliver a verry good mutton curry ,tawa mutton tikka.
tawa tangri is a must try dish wich is my favrt and cream chicken/mutton is mouthwatering to.

Well, it's one of my fav places for mutton cravings. There are very few places where I go to have mutton and this place is one of them. So a big thumbs up for oberoi biryani. The food is really good and tempting always . Perfect in pieces and taste specially mutton.

It's not typical Mughlai biryani but some chicken rice served with gravy on top.

Their biryani is splendid and so is their dal makhani. Combine that with garlic naan and your taste buds will be thanking you. Yummy food with prompt delivery.

Great place to have biryanis but that is probably the only good thing they cook, all other dishes are just average. Price is a little too high for the locality and the quantity.

It's a nice take out joint which is good enough to satiate for a quick fix biryani and chicken.. actually it's more like chicken pulao than biryani but still is tasty enough to not disappoint you - so if u r looking for authentic biryani this is not the place for you.. another thing on thr menu I totally love is the kalimirch chicken - it is the best version of the dish I have had and I totally totally recommend it for people who want creamy and spicy chicken together.. I can't comment on the ambience of the place as I always order food and delivery is very quick..

One of the best Chicken Biryani I have in Whole Delhi. Place is always crowded even in covid times. Soo anyone can guess how popular this place is. I have been eating biryani from this place since last 4 years. There taste remains same. I never tried anything else oberoi biryani so cant coment about that.
The ambiance of Oberoi biryani was very nice and cozy. The staffs were friendly and well mannered. The taste of food was also very good. We ordered non veg food and really liked the taste of what was surved to us. Services were fast too. The washroom was near and clean.
