A local joint. Basically a dhaba.
It was full with students.
It took us at least 15 minutes of waiting before we were seated on decent plastic stools placed around a moderate sized wooden table.
Food was desi and dhaba styled. Sprite was served in chai-glass
Suresh Tea Stall is a hidden gem of north campus Delhi University. This Place is located in a DDA Complex near Hudson Lane, always filled with students around campus. This Place is close to the hearts of the students of the Delhi University area. If you are a Parantha lover then must try Aalu Pyaz, Alu Paranthas, Paneer Pyaz Parantha and don't forget to take quarter Butter and Pickles with them for the ultimate taste. The parathas here will be made your eyes bigger, and your taste buds will crave for more, but the size of the Paranthas will deter you from eating more than 2. If you are planning to go there in the evening with your gang then must try delicious Rajma Rice for dinner. Chinese food is also available here. Must try Egg Chowmein and Chilly Potatoes. At least 90% of students from DU north campus area love this Place and their food.
It is an open area to eat specially for college squad because it is near to Delhi University. All the food i have tried was awesome but the sitting place can be more hyegenic because more and more people visit there. All the staff was polite.🌝
The most pocket friendly for all college guys and students living in and around gtb nagar, hudson lane.
They also provide home delivery and no extra costs or taxes.
They really save u from staying hungry during no money days.
A great joint for breakfast they have multiple options in there menu you can enjoy Allo paratha with tea.
Must try there rajma chawal.
Food available in very reasonable price.
just perfect. everything just perfect. food, ambience, staff, service, price, hygiene. Their parathas are just amazing. If you go there do try their tea, it's wonderful🙂
I would recommend the "paranthas" of this place to every outsider who is constantly struggling between tiring college life and bad PG food. The "paranthas" of this place will surely give you a taste of homefood away from home.
It's so funny how at least 90% students of North campus of University of Delhi must have had some kind of food here- Parantha, Chinese or chawal+rajma/chole combo yet this place has only 170 reviews.... This place was our once a week escape from the watery dal and the cold rice and the barely cooked veggie curries.... The parathas here will made your eyes bigger and your taste buds will crave for more....but the size of the Parantha will deter you to eat more than 2.... Me and my roommate's weekly order was... One mix parantha, one aloo pyaaz parantha both with butter....one chai, one coke/mountain dew bottle, one plate paneer chilly...spicy...and one plate beg fried rice...I know it's a lot for two but we always managed to fit everything inside.
By the way I am not a vegetarian but here i always ate veg...reason? The veg was so great I used to crave for it all week....so never felt the need to try out anything else....
My verdict: mix Parantha is a must try and always with butter ... Chilly paneer and fried rice is a must try combo as well....
Oh I still remember how happy Bhaiya used to be seeing us since we always ate for a long time and basically because we ordered so much😂
This is the affordable and nearest outlet from my college.....
I came here with my friends to try some snacks
Chilly potato : Crispy and awsm taste... Quantity was also good 👍
Chicken Chowmein : Average in taste ... Not so good...
Spring Roll: Quantity and taste both were good
So u can come here to try their food with ur friends at reasonable price....
Taste 3.5/5
Service 3/5
Best paranthe wala in GTB Nagar and reasonable price and I just loved their chai
The taste of food is amazing now we can get Chinese food also
This place is a hidden gem amidst all the chaotic, expensive, star studded restaurants in the Hudson lane.
The Aloo pyaaz paratha is the show stealer for sure, However, I thoroughly enjoyed having the sumptuous Chilli potato and Spring rolls.
I wish I discovered this place back in my first year.
Must visit.
Pocket friendly meals with good taste😋.. This place have always been my ADDA to chill out.. If you are in north campus you must visit this place.. it’s like one of the student’s place you can’t miss out ..
I’ve been in North campus for literally half my life. I’ve seen this place grow from a hole in the wall to it’s current two shop location. Suresh bhaiya has saved me and many others like me from sleeping hungry at night when pocket money was short. I still go to his stall to have aloo paratha, chai and channa masala! Crispy potatoes here are also good. Cheap and best. Every north campusite owes a lot of gratitude to Suresh bhaiya for still keeping nominal rates. 🙌🏻
Tasty food. Well behaved staff.. A complete student eating joint. Most imp hygienic enough. Delivery on time. there r no delivery charges...
Havent seen a better place than this for the perfect broke college students.. Guys just check out its menu and ur minds will be blown off.. This place is a heaven for the students of DU.. I myself have been surviving on this for last 3 yrs. I would personally recommend it s aloo pyaaz paratha. Life saviour
Reasonable and pocket friendly place.very delicious food...
I had ordered alu paratha 5/5 which comes with pickel which is very nice.
Delivery is on time
Must try!! If you are lazy to cook and want to eat home cooked food
This place is always on the list of students famous for its home made style khaaana. I usually go to this place for lunch here. Love there rajmah chawal & curing chai. The prices here are very low as compared to other places but the taste is superb. This is a must place for every food lover.
When In Mood to Have cutting chai☕head to this place located in dda market 😋 u will see many students in the morning itself having breakfast with amazing chai☕ ...you can also try there chilly pototoes that are absolutely crispy😍and tangy
As a hostler or living away from home? It's the best place to have "Ghar Jaisa khana" From chinese to indian they have it all. I recommend to have a Chai for sure. Sitting arrangement is not available or can't say anything about ambience.
The hidden place of best paratha in Hudson Lane (near at GTB Nagar) the quality and variety of paratha best in town and it's pocket friendly too. The aloo pyaze is in very demanding. And I love too paneer paratha is lodeed of full of paneer. Try asli rajma chawal. Chili potato, chili paneer and chili garlic noodle is good option for veg lovers. Best place for thukpa. Try everything with hot masala chai.......
Thank you suresh fast food for best paratha....!
"Ghar Ke Haath Ka Tasty Khana" - this describes everything about this place.
It is situated in complex near hudson lane always filled with college, hostellers and PG/Outstation students.
If you want to try paranthas must go for paneer pyaz, aalu pyaz and alu paranthas with quarter butter and pickles.
For food or dinner you can try the most delicious rajma rice, half plate aalu matar subzi, kadhi chawal and chapatis also.
Chai is good there amd it keep selling out so keep remind him your order. Chinese food is also available here. Egg chowmein is tasty and 'sometimes' chilly potatoes also.
There is a plenty of place to sit and have food as it's a complex market area just like NSP's but on a smaller level.
As we all think about street food...what comes in mind!!! That is food must be yammi... Less prices, ..
They also want that mark on them...but the thing is they have less prices...but no taste in any of the food...i have orderd chowmien...that was just normal... Nither rajma sabji... Dont wanna come again..
It has become a favourite spot for me and my roommate! It's best for delicious and pocket friendly food! The best part is the taste! I love the parathas, aloo paneer ane mix I've tried and they're awesome!
This places saves you from starving .with Rs70 in pocket one can have a good meal.
The parathas are served faster than pizza .mix paratha is a must try and tea for a great combo. The chinese food is also good. The Chilli potato nd chicken Manchurian can be tried.
Being an open eatery in an MCD market the sitting place is not clean though.parcel order the food if you cant sit.
When nothing comes to mind and was confused, I straight way prefer Suresh tea stall. It's a place more than food, you will see the variants of aspirants and it's great to listen their heated debates! Really it's a place worth reviving the feeling of student life! With chai and paratha !!
Probably the most popular food joint in DDA market Hudson lane. Student friendly, mostly full of students. The paranthas are oversized and fulfilling. Also famous for its tea. They have also ventured into chinese food can give that try too.. it's decent.
wohoo...this place is just awesome... all parathas loaded with stuffing tastes just awesome.. we can say a real and economic student adda for all type of meals.. chilli potato, fried rice, manchurian, spring rolls, and all desi food is just awesome.. a must visit with friends..
It is one among the most economic hangouts in the North Campus area. The Amount of Preservatives are very high (One Reason People do not eat with their hands here because the food colour stains says on your palm for a couple of days). Besides that the food is Tasty and the customer service is pretty good.
I have relied on this place for right from graduation till today. Whenever we get bored in law fac we just run to this place to try their chinese. We have had almost everything they offer but never cared to get a picture. Jusg have one picture of their super yum chilli potato. Do try whenever you are in neighbourhood.
Perfect place for any DU student as they are always hungry (its open almost for all day) and more importently , out of resources. A pyaj parantha with " chai " is something one can not avoid. Even other paranthas (with butter) are good too. One can try chilli and crispy potato fingers in the evening and their panner dishes are worth trying as well !!
So...Because I am a tea lover 🙈 I love this place.. Some tea stalls serve you such a great tea which restaurants can't.. For sure! And this one's amongst them.
Also, if you residing in the hostel or PG and missing your "ghar ka khana".. This place is perfect for you ;) amazing paranthas, chilli potatoes, chilli chicken.. 😁
Tired of eating all that typical restaurant food? Low on budget? Don't know how to cook everyday meals? Missing ghar ka khana? This place is the answer for all the above questions if you are staying away from home at North Delhi University Campus. They serve simple Indian food like parathas, vegetables, rice, daal, tawa rotis etc. to hungry outstation students everyday. The taste is really good and their service is too quick. A lot of students infact rely on this small dhaba for their breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place is definitely not a luxury but a good damn necessity!
The place to go when you want to have a break from tandori roti. The place serves paratha, tawa roti with different vegetarian preparations. The paneer butter masala is must try and pair it with paneer paratha. The place also serves chinese. The tea here is also very tasty and strong.
This place serves amazing rajma chawal and cheapest too as it is one of the most visited places in the north campus. I go here for the chai they serve. It is kadak which is to my liking and you have a park just in front of it where you can eat and chill.
The best place for Paranthas is north campus. Unlike other cafes and restaurants in the area, this place is just like a small stall with no seating space. But, the best of food options!
I really doubt if any North Campus student has not visited this place. Their tea and paranthas are pretty famous in this part of the town. There was a time when we visited this place every night for our dinner. If you are studying in the North Campus and haven't tried their paranthas, you should go and try it. The paranthas are pretty delectable.
ShoutOut to all the North Campus Foodies. I am a DU passout and I miss Suresh as much as I miss my college life. Suresh was one of my favorite places for those broke days, which was usually always. :P
If you haven't been to this place, trust me, you're missing on to something significant.
Yes! The tea. The chilli Garlic Chowmin.. The Rajma Chawal. Those Parathas. Fried Rice. The list goes on and on. Everything is a must try and after trail is a must repeat on list. :D
The best part, very pocket friendly too.
I have to much freaking memories of this place. This was purely a heaven for me. After every class going there are shouting for one aluu pyaaz ka paratha and 2 chai. Wow those college days.
So today again I enjoyed food on my favorite food place GTB Nagar.
But this time here m not going to say about cafe or big restaurant.
It's a small but special for cheap price north Indian and Chinese food.
So here m talking about Suresh tea stall.
Students food joint and a perfect place there easily I can pay for my friends.
Jokes apart seriously it's nice.
This place. It has a special place in my heart. To reckon we used to be around this place almost everyday of our college life. Wherever you feel like having a bite and some time with your buddies this is the place for you. Their paranthas are so fulfilling. My favorite has always been paneer pyaaz parantha. Their chai is soothing. Sometimes we used to ho for 2-3 cups of tea in one go. And you can visit this place any time of the day, you will always find it crowded with college peeps. :)

Oh this place :')
It's such a lovely save for all the hungry students at anytime of the day :D
PYAAZ KA PARATHA is a must, you won't get it better anywhere. Very well filled, huge in size and well cooked. With butter :D they also give their achars which I don't like much.
My all time favorite.
In winters you can add teat with it and it will leave you n ur tummy smiling!
My friend always eats rajma chawal here n loves it.
Paneer paratha is okay not that great.
This place is super cheap but sometimes thr delivery is slow :/ Staff is very friendly!
But overall I love suresh :D
Very affordable , cheap and tasty home made food away from home! Rajma chawal and paneer paratha is something i usually have......other things on the menu are quite mouth watering.
This place is a saviour for all DU students and never fails to satisfy the paranthas craving. Just order any parantha and you won't be disappointed. Live their pyaz and paneer paranthas which are very well prices.
If you have tried every café in hudson and never visited suresh tea stall and fast food centre then you missed the major part.
It is worth a try as it serves quality food at economically. Every thing on his menu is delicious but i would lay stress on some things like paranthas, chilly potato, chai etc.
none can have food of restaurant everyday.. personally its my daily bread place.. seriously Suresh bhaiya never let you miss ur home food.. aloo parantha..rajma chawal must try👌
Tired of visiting the routine Hudson cafes. Tired of the foreign delicacies and wanna grab some cheap north Indian dishes. And if you are really short on cash then this place is perfect for you. The place serves cheap Indian and Chinese cuisines with the best tea. The taste is like a dhaba which excels. But the ambience is one thing where this place lacks. The hygienic levels can be given negative ratings. The food has to be consumed in open and there are meat and smoking shops nearby which does not serve an effective sight. Overall the food is good and two people can fill their bellies in 100 bucks, but if you wanna spend some quality time with your mates and want some hygienic food don't go to this place. But the deserves a visit once. So enjoy your food.
I love Suresh for it's delivery, food is generally delivered within 5 minutes except on Sunday. Paranthas are awesome, my personal favorite is Paneer parantha and not to forget Rajma Chawal.
All time amazing food.. A perfect tea and parathe breakfast !!
why go to murthal instead when you can have all the fun at north campus ??
Cheap and tasty, its very apt for students living nearby.
Their rajma chawal is excellent.
This place unlike other street food stalls has a seating arrangement as well.
The place is great. If you ever go here do try Rajma Rice, it is excellent. Very close to the university area it is a hangout point for the college students. The rates are quite decent and the food is good. Visiting here when you are hungry and low on money is a great idea, you will be served Proper Indian food.
The food and quality of service is fantastic. If you are a person staying in a nearby PG or a hostel, you will find this place amazingly awesome! For those who are not living in a PG, the place will still be great and shall prove to be one of the finest eateries in GTB Nagar for all meals of the day with great taste, good service and not to miss, VALUE FOR MONEY!!! Must-haves include piping hot paranthas with butter and pickle and garma-garam chai!!
The parathas are simply amazing!!!! You can fill up your tummy for a long time in just 38/-! 20/- for the aloo-pyaaz parantha, 8/- for the tea and 10/- for the extra butter.. The food is really good and its very cheap! :) Hats off to Suresh Tea Stall! Bravoooo... :)
Love their paranthas..and karhi chawal...!!
In terms of food I can't compare Suresh's food with that of any other restaurants at such prices. But when it comes into place and hygiene I always prefer to call him for home delivery. Being his regular customer I want to advise you, when it comes to Chinese food never go for Suresh.
Luved d tea and parantha...
A Dhaba at its best... paranthas and rajma chawal rock....tastes like home food......and extremely inexpensive....
Cheap and affordable food for all class of people. Suresh fast food is a way of escape for the University guys.
Nice stall with fast service..!!
The food here is top notch at a very reasonable price. The taste, service and atmosphere everything is 10/10 here. Suresh ji is a gentleman and serving good food since years.
Must try chilli potato, chicken fried rice and rajma chawal.
Had Aloo Paratha
Reasonable price with quantity.

Food is cheap and good. But lack of hygiene
Its the bestest place for Hudson lane people. Reasonable prices plus wheat Parathas, what else we need. This place is literally an emotion for students living nearby this place.
Four stars for inexpensive food. This is a go to, place for all students in the University for good quality and fresh food. This stall is famous for its parathas, though other items in the menu won't disappoint either. It's a nice and safe (busy) place to hang out with friends. Gives the vibes of a college canteen.
If you're planning to go here don't expect anything fancy. The food here has average taste but is fulfilling. If you're looking for a good meal that is pocket friendly, this is your place.
One star deducted for pack of proper seating and hygiene.
Great place to hang with friends and eat food in Hudson Lane.
I love the parathas here.
Quite busy place with good taste.
Direct tea stall. Is a small tea stall.
It's a good place to have a warm chat with friends and colleagues over a cup of coffee. Good staff and relaxed atmosphere.Cheap and delicious food at this one place. Offers a variety of spicy and sweet dishes. It's good place for spending some time with friends and have some coffeeHad a good experience though the service was quite slow and . But beware of junk food.Spent so much time there during college days. Nostalgic place.Nice place. Yummy tea is served. Very popular among the students. Highly recommended. Spent so much time there during college days. Nostalgic place.Nice place. Yummy tea is served. Very popular among the students. Highly recommended.
Nice place for chill with your friends. The famous item of this place is varieties of Paratha. Price of food is also not expensive. This is situated inside of colony little much far away from main road. Whenever I visit here with my friends I definitely order Paratha with Chai.
I recommend to visit here in winter and take away in summer because this is situated in open place.
The stall is good and located at Hudson Lane complex. Environment is soo good here. The indian cuisine at this stall is ultimately good. You will feel a taste like home and in very pocket friendly cost. Crowd is also good there. You would see young crowd there. Most of the DU students visit there and get chill out with friends. Must visit place at pocket friendly cost in Hudson Lane.
One of the best chai + paratha places in North Campus. They have more interesting options on the menu as well like Rajma Chawal, Paneer, Chinese, etc. A very good choice to hang out with friends and enjoy low priced extremely tasty food. Paneer paratha with special chai is my top pick!

The best place to have a sip of the best tea and paranthas well that's what we use to enjoy here but now it's more amazing and a lot more variety of food with Desi tadka and feel of open air you can have. I personally have a lots of memories everyone from the owner to the staff all are very nice people. Writing this is making me remembering the old days me n my friends use to enjoy seriously I'm having nostalgic writing all this. 😊😊😊😊
If you are a student and want tasty food that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket, this is the place. True, the place doesn't look very hygiene but the sheer number of people that avail his services regularly is suffice to assume that his food is reliable.
The food was tasty but they need to work on a sitting arrangement
For the PG/flat students away from hometown, best homely food with a minimum amount of unnecessary oils and masalas and affordable by every pocket.
The usual dda space is the seating area which is quite normal and appealing for the college students but might appear cheap to family or other people.
In summers, takeaway is best . But in winters, it is the best place to have a seat and enjoy your everyday meal.
Place is good to have a budget meal. I personally loved Paranthas more than anything availaible. The place is always packed with Delhi University's students. Good place to eat with friends.
