One of the best Butter chicken served in Delhi ....The colour and the flavour is amazingly perfect .... Eating it with your choice if bread is a classic combo .... A place I would recomend for mughlai stuff ..... A regular restaurant with basic soroundings....

Visited for the first time and truly a memorable dinner. Came with the friend and our server Mr. Prakash was really good he gave us the good choice and suggestions for the food to order. We ordered butter chicken and rara mutton it was really delicious and in the end he served us kulfi. Gr8 place simple ambiance but excellent food.
Although all Items on the menu are good. But this place serves simply the best Butter Chicken one can ever have. Delectable taste of the Gravy. l have been coming here since childhood. The food is Exceptionally delicious and service also very prompt. The Staff is very courteous. It's a family place. It serves alcohol as well.

Its Friday night and while visiting a friend he whispers - food is from Mughal Mahal. Now never having tried it i was surprised as the butter chicken was the best i have ever had. Not too heavy and not to sweet. Even after having had dinner three helpings of this butter chicken took me to heaven. Am waiting for a weekend to order this at home!
When I think of butter chicken, this place comes in my mind immediately. Have been having butter chicken from this place since the childhood n still love it. It's a must try.
I have never eaten lal mirch ka paratha ever and so I thought of trying this dish from the mughal trail. I also ordered one curry dish from here which again was too tasty.
The paratha was also nice and was not too spicy as I though it would be. The price also I found to be fine as I can see in the entire menu list.
One of the best places to have a great north indian meal. It is a 43 year old restaurant always crowded. Went for a lunch on sunday and everything I ordered was so fresh and delicious. We (couple) ordered few things, let me elaborate my experience:- Chicken Tikka: 4* Soft, juicy, creamy and above all fresh!!
- Tandoori Mushroom: 3* Crisp, spicy and soft!!- Paneer Seekh Kebab: 4* Unlike all other joints serving the same, they were tasty, again fresh as well as juicy,.- Dal Makhani: 5* One of the best in Delhi. Buttery, creamy, thick as well as mild in taste. - Butter Chicken: 5* Great taste, authentic fragrance, on the sweeter side made only with butter and cream.
Out and out, amazing experience!! Work on interior, its too old now.

On a quest to enjoy 'true' Delhi food while on a visit to the city, we visited Mughal Mahal with high hopes.
Entered the place, and it looks like a classic joint, we we're quite pleased with our decision. A good thing is that they offer half portions, which is great since it allows us to try more of their food.
We ordered the murg Tikka based on the server's recommendations, it was a difficult choice between that and the Murg Malai Tikka. On tasting it, it was so perfectly cooked & flavored that we ended up ordered the Malai Tikka too! Which was also absolutely on point, soft, creamy and exactly how you'd want it. Till now, a superb meal.
It was an easy decision to order the butter chicken and naan next. Unfortunately the butter chicken had too much of a tomato taste and some capsicum in it, which just didn't feel right. It was good, but we were hoping for the classic, creamy butter chicken, which this wasn't.
Overall, definitely an amazing meal. Just wish the butter chicken was the classic kind. Definitely will visit again when we're in Delhi next.
The best butter chicken...hands down..! The same taste since 30 years or so with no compromise on taste and portion sizes...other restaurants don't even come close to their preparation of food..if one hasn't been here..please do visit!
The kadhai chicken was well cooked and the chicken pieces were succulent and soft. The dish wasn't too oily either. Very happy. Mughal Mahal is on the pricier side, but rarely do they disappoint with their food.

They have excellent offerings at the price they offer it at. They were polite, accomodating, and comfortable with me and my party of 14 others. Thier parking was not that great, but still better than most, as I did not have to opt for paid parking, but the timings choose your vehicle's fate, so there's that. For the price, you can not go wrong with this place.

This is not a high end diner (in case the butter chicken rates made you think so), but serves a unique tangy butter chicken. You would either fall in love with the taste or hate it due its extremely tangy taste and rough texture.
The quantity served is much more than any other place so order half if you would order full from your regular place.

I got to know about this place from a friend of mine. We went here on a Saturday evening for dinner. We got a table easily as there were hardly any people in there. But within few minutes the place got jam packed with so many people (mostly families) coming in.
Within starters we had chicken pakoda. In the full portion they serve 10 pieces. They were really good. We had virgin mary and fresh lime in drinks. The virgin marry was not good at all while the fresh lime was okayish.
Within main course we had butter chicken, the dish which was highly recommended by my friend. And certainly it was worth it. It was a bit tangy in taste and the chicken pieces were very soft / fresh. I really loved it. We ordered for half portion and that was also way too much for two. We also had dal makhni which was nice as well. In breads we had garlic naan, which were okayish and not that great.
Overall a decent place to go. The butter chicken is certainly one of the best ones in town. Pricing wise they are a bit overpriced given the dining experience they offer.

Although all items on the menu are good but this place is famous for butter chicken and you can find out from the menu as butter chicken 2X any other chicken dish. I have been going there for the last 2 decades the only problem is consistently - sometimes the chicken is great and other times it is below average. It all depends how good or bad your day is as in my last 5 visits the food has been up and down - no consistency at all. Brain curry is good. But the whole experience is tad expensive given the whole setup.
Nice place to have food with family. The food is exceptionally delicious and service also very prompt. The staff is very courteous. Not given 5 rating as the ambiance needs a little revamp. It's kind of old fashioned and not attractive specially when you enter but once you order their food you get a totally different experience of their food. It's simply awesome.

One of the oldest restaurants in Rajendra Place area. Honestly it has lived its life and seen the highs of restaurant business. The decor now looks a bit dated. Its not as crowded as it used to be but it still has its regulars. My review is totally based on the butter chicken. I personally feel its still top notch. I would actually say that they serve the tangiest butter chicken in Delhi which goes really well with a crisp nan or roti. If I visit, I would just order a beer ( they do have a bar license) and have my fill of butter chicken with assortment of breads - so should you !!

Went to this restaurant given the reviews about their butter chicken. Nice clean restaurant, very nice service from the waiters. Fast service. Locals dining there as well. Ordered the half size of butter chicken along with a spicy vegetarian curry and it was more than enough food for two! Both dishes were delicious.
The food is exceptionally good and service too. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Dishes were yummy and the best part is that it didn't give a post meal heaviness after eating quite a lot. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The killing taste tang viscosity has changed .... I visited almost 2 years later .... My first since Corona .... The chicken was just not upto mark the bird was heavy weight not tandoored appropriately hence the fabric is changed ... The curry is thinned .. overly tasted liked Local tomato ketchup mixed or pizza sauce type
I asked if the cook has changed since I am having MM BC since it was 75 Rs a plate and they used to deliver at home in tiffin carriers then in 1980s
Today at 1250 rs a plate ....MM BC will face tough competition from Moti Mahal .... Dhaba ... And many more as today's taste made me think
