This place situated in the Mehrauli Market near Mehrauli Police station is a dhaba. The mutton curry is amazing. Cooked in a north Indian style with lots of spices. It is chilly hot and tastes well with butter roti or even rice. Their Biryani is also very yum and cooked well. Their chicken curry is also spicy and good for a winter's meal. Their serving portions is very very good.
This is a very famous and known dhaba in Mehrauli. Located just opposite to Mehrauli police station. One can get dhaba style dishes at this place. All the dishes are good in taste and not too heavy on the pocket as well. I have tried their Butter Chicken, Paneer Bhurji, Dal Makhni, Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Kofta and Dal Tadka. It is difficult to say what is best at this place as all of their dishes are equally delicious. The only thing needs to keep in mind while dining at this joint is that the hygiene is not so good and the service is really slow. You might observe delay in getting your ordered food and might not get all the ordered items at the same time due to large numbers of take away orders. These are the things that can be expected from a dhaba but nonetheless the food is great. Above all the best dhaba food in and around Mehrauli, within this price range. I prefer to dine at this joint whenever I am in this vicinity. Kudos!

A bunch of my friends showed up yesterday at my place and I was quite unsure about going out with them.So I dropped in the idea of ordering food from Oberoi dhaba and I must say they all were quite satisfied with the outcome!!My orders were Dal makhni ,Paneer Butter Masala,Garlic Naan,Butter Naan and Lachcha Parantha.

All non veg dishes here are superb! My favourite they have is Chicken Malai Tikka. They have a well on time delivery system. This place has existed for years and is very well known.

I live in South Delhi and this place deliver PUNJABI style food so I keep order from this place this place never disappoint me there portion are big and the spicy Ness of the food is real hit. I recommend this place. Only sad part is there packing that can be improved otherwise if I just think about food it's good.

Pyaj ki roti is must try, something really unique. Being a punjabi restaurant they do really justice to the punjabi cuisine.
Butter chicken is heavenly, daal makhni is awesome, soya malai chaap is one of the best you can have around.
No proper place for family sitting, do prefer take away or home delivery.

This is a well kept secret of Delhi. Inside the bylanes of Mehrauli village lies this dhaba. And they have a restaurant as well nearby called Retro kitchen which is a decent restaurant.
Visit this place for lip smacking kulchas. I can bet ypu cannot get better kulchas anywhere in town than this place.
We ordered mix veg kulchas, paneer kulchas coupled with dhaniya adraki paneer and we were delighted. All the three dishes were equally amazing. And the bill was less than five hundred for two. What else could you ask for.

Oberoi Dhaba is located close to the Mehrauli Police Station. A few days ago I had gone to Mehrauli for some work and after finishing it off by the afternoon, I decided to dine at this place. The food here is very average and my eating experience was poor. The menu is confined and this place fails to deliver whatever limited items it serves with a nice taste. I had the following items there-
Chicken Seekh Kebab- I really wanted to have a nice and spicy kebab that day but was eventually disappointed with the recipe of Oberoi Dhabha.
Chicken Masala- Although served in huge quantity, it still fails to deliver an appetizing taste.
Chilli Chicken (dry)- The only nice items of the entire lot that deserves praises, tastes very nice.
Mutton Korma- Very average with a tasteless gravy. Should be avoided.
Mutton Rogan Josh- A dish that is spicy but certainly not good enough to please the taste buds. Should be avoided.
Egg Curry- The curry was overspiced and the egg was not fresh, I did not like it at all.
Overall, the experience was disheartening and I recommend the people here to the better their preparations in order to attract the customers
Their food is good!! Period. Its great for home delivery and they are pretty much on time. Last time we ordered 1 butter chicken, one afghani chicken, one kadhai paneer, 6/8 laccha paranthas and the bill was under 1000! I don't know how the place is as I've never been there but good for home delivery :)
Okay so, this place is like veryyy close to my home. When I first shifted here, I knew only this Dhaba to order food from. But with time, I realised that it is the best place to order food from if you really want a hearty Punjabi dinner or lunch.
The food is good. I won't say that its below average and neither you can call it excellent or outstanding.
The food-price relation is nice too and the home delivery service is a little slow, but the place is a steal!

This place is one of the oldest food joint in Mehrauli Popular as Dhaba. I rank this place 3.5 just for its food Taste, quality, Portion, Price and delivery time. I never suggest this place for family dinning.

It is a place that offers an authentic (tasteful, if not authentic) Mughlai Food. This dhaba has been around for a while and has been one of the most reputed Dhabas in the JNU - Munirka - VK and Mehrauli Area.
Vegetarian Dishes are also worth a try. The place may seem sketchy but don't worry, that is because of the time it has been in the market (More than 30-35 years).

The dishes here are very cheap and tasty. The dishes are very cheap as compared to other restaurants and the taste is very nice. They should improve there seating space and hygiene also there is a lot of lack of sanitation. Overall this place has a very good food quality but the sanitation and hygiene lacks. The chicken lababdaar is great! If you don't mind shabby seating areas, and concentrate on the great food, you will love this place. A typical dhaba, and completely ok for girls to go by themselves.

Authentic dhaba food is assured every time. The dal makhni in particular is one of my favourites along wit the paneer bhujiya. Ample variety of non veg kebabs also available. Oberoi dhaba is located in interior of mehrauli. I had one of the best daal makhani here. Butter chicken , kadhai chicken, mix vegetable are my other favourites from Oberoi dhaba. I have had numerous meals here. The best part is that the food here is very very consistent. A must try .
For me Oberoi is one of the best place to have chicken. Tandoori is great. The pieces are big and well cooked. The Chicken Lababdaar takes the crown. Its not the usual chicken item you will find in other eateries. Quantity is more than enough for two even when you order a half plate. The chicken is roasted a bit and then added to the curry. The taste is out of this world. A must try. And the price is nominal.
Its good for home delivery ( you might get rubber roti but everything else is fine )Β , and if you are alone or only boys than you can go and eat ( Air Conditioner ) .
If you are living in Sarai or Near To CBI Bank then you might get order in and Hour or so on Weekends . . . . .

Situated at a walking distance from my place it offers foos that would leave u licking ur fingers. Being a veggie I speciallly like the malai kofta and dal makhni they offer, although most of the stuff is good. Excellent Dhaba Food is what you can expect at the Oberoi Dhaba, Mehrauli. The dhaba is expansive covering one entire side of the market opposite the Mehrauli Police Station. One look and you can figure out that it employs an entire army unit to run it. Behind the counters are the Oberoi brothers, taking orders and belting out instructions. They do have an indoor unit where you can sit and eat while mostly people stand on the upright tables and eat away. Lot of orders float into cars (like ours) to be taken away.Β
All their dry stuff is amazing ... Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka are succulent and flawless. In the curries definitely try the lipsmacking Oberoi Special Chicken. If it impressed my father, its bound to impress you too. A word of caution here ... this particular dish really really rich. The good part is its also loaded with dry fruits and they have not been miserly about this.Β
For now, this is what I have experienced thus far at the Oberoi Dhaba. Will be heading there again soon to try more of their sumptuous food. If you head that ways, do let me know how you fared.

I have visited this food place many times. Although many people don't find it hygienic but for me, this is a very tasty restaurant. Malai Chaap and dal tadka are really delicious dishes. If anyone is visiting Qutub Minar or Khawaja Qutub Uddin Bakhtiar kaki dargah one must visit Oberoi Dhaba. It is opposite of Mehrauli Police station.
One advice: Don't go by car as there is no parking. Take a walk or rickshaw.

Even though the place gets too busy with orders, they prepare and provide your order in no time. This place has dine in option as well as take away available. Though at weekend nights you may not be able to find a seat to dine-in due to the rush this place has, but you still can get your take away order quickly prepared. The reason for their quick service is the management of the place by the owners as well as the large no of workers who are working to prepare your food.
