Visited this hidden gem at Khan Market last weekend.

The place serves lip-smacking non-veg optionsđŸ€€

I would highly recommend the following items:

1. Chicken malai tikka
2. Kakori kebab
3. Mutton seekh kebab
4. Chicken tikka
5. Afghani tikka cream

There is hardly any place to sit, most people opt to sit in their cars and enjoy the scrumptious meat options.

Prices are pocket friendly😃

If you are looking to enjoy high quality non-veg indian kebabs near the Khan Market area, then I would highly suggest you to check this place out👍

Better than another highly rated kebab takeaway place in Safdarjung. The Achari Chicken Tikka and Malai Soya chap are the best ones. The quality of materials used and the peaceful old school way of preparing the food along with amazing service makes it a 5 star place!

This place is a hidden gem - far removed from the Khan Chachas and Azams in main Khan Market. The ambience is nothing too special as it is more of a take-out/delivery place. But if you are eating-in the service is prompt and polite. I have been ordering in for several years, and I would highly recommend Chicken Afghani Tikka Roll: Easily the best roll I have ever had. Though it is a messy affair, one roll is more than enough to fill one up. Another is Chicken Malai Tikka is always well prepared - so soft! Mutton Kakori Roll is brilliant as well. Great value for money and the food has been consistently very good.

Been there twice. Had the soya malai chaap and mutton kakori kebab. The malai chaap was awesome. I only wish if they could put shreds of soya instead on chunks. The first bite was embarrassing as the juice and cream oozed out and smeared by face.
The mutton kakori roll was also good with roll stuffed with mutton mince.
Wish to taste all it's rolls

There are times when zomato recommends the most delightful dishes. The service is a little slow, but it's worth waiting for. This is more like a takeaway place, but then they do have 2 tables if you want to sit and eat, I would recommend the former though.
So, we ordered for Rumali Roti, Chicken Afghani Roasted half and mutton kakori kabab. The Mutton Kakori Kabab was the softest Kabab I have ever had in my life, just so delicate that it would just melt in your mouth and explode with amazing flavours. The chicken Afghani was delightful, lots of flavours with a hint of that tandoor flavour, slightly creamish though. The rumali roti on the other hand was a bit elasticky, maybe because we opened the parcel after 30 minutes. I would really love to come here again to try the other dishes. I would like to give the -

Once in a while, you gotta do what you gotta do. Ditch the high end places and dig into some reasonable, value for money food. Chanced upon this place at Khan Market's far end. We decided to give it a shot and ordered chicken tikka to test the waters. For the price we paid, it was quite decent in taste. So we decided to have a full meal and ordered the only curry on their menu - chicken qorma and roomali roti. Were pleasantly surprised at the taste and the perfectly cooked chicken. The service was prompt and although seating could be an issue for those not used to eating local. But you get what you pay for and sometimes that is all that matters!

I will specially focus on Malai Chaap because it is out of the world. If you are a fan of Chaap, then you gotta try this place. Amazing is the word.

This is another restaurant that is famous for its affordable food amidst all the expensive restaurants that are present in Khan Market but it is not that famous because it is situated somewhat in the interiors.

The food here is really good. Their Kakori Kebab are a bit spicy but the taste is good. But the best thing is their Malai Chaap which is just incredible. The best Malai Chaap that you will get in all of Delhi. Highly Recommended from my side.

This restaurant is located in prithviraj market right next to khan market. Been here a number of times and not once have I been disappointed. The food just surprises you to another level. Everything is delicious and pocket friendly. So if you are in khan market and are craving mughlai, this is the best place, not only is it easy on your pocket, it is worth every penny and more.

The cream glazed Afghani chicken with roomali roti, onions and green chutney! The BEST afghani chicken ever had. The chicken is perfectly cooked and hidden under the generous coating of cream.
This is literally finger licking food! Even when the chicken is over, you cannot waste the cream.

Will go back here soon.

Laziz Kabab is one place which has been around for quite some time, initially operating as a small indoor dining eatery to the current take away and outdoor dining eatery. A hidden gem at one point of time is no more hidden but still remains a gem among the not so great Kabab corners in its vicinity.

Laziz has without a doubt created a fan following and a loyal clientele for itself, I being one of them, especially after the advent of many Khan Chacha franchisees, resulting into deteriorated poor quality of food, being served without any quality check and survivng solely on the basis of their erstwhile established reputation.

Naturally, for it to be so praiseworthy, it needs to offer something so delicious that justify the praises.

Recommended Items:
Mutton Kakori Kabab and Roll
Chicken Afghani Tikka with Roomali Roti
Mutton Tikka and Roll

Even though I being a great fan of the above-mentioned items, I still feel that this Kabab corner has the potential to improve much beyond its own imagination, provided that they take the requisite steps forward.

In my personal opinion as far as their Kakori Kabab is concerned, it has the mouth melting meat with the right amount of softness and explosion of juices, but fails at times, due its inconsistency arising out of the excessive salt. Salt needs to be used in the right amount. There is no solution for excessive salt once served.

Another area where it fails is the provision of alternative payment options such as Credit/Debit card or even Paytm (considering the given times post demonetisation).

Apart from their Afghani and Kakori, other rolls would not suffice an average hunger if you have only one. So you will be compelled to order another. Pricing is decent not too expensive considering the rentals in the vicinity and not too cheap either.

Rest assured. Worth a visit if you want to try an amazing Afghani Tikka or Kakori Kabab.

The food here kicks ass. It's served to you, fast, hot, and according to whatever requests you've made. They seem to have an issue with adding spice to their food, but that seems to be more of a Delhi thing.

Filling without being expensive and tasty without having to wait ages. Definitely worth a visit.

Nummy! Whenever I find myself in Khan, unless I'm expected to be really well-behaved, I make a beeline for Laziz Kabab. I've dragged foreign business associates here for starters, and while they look seriously sceptical, the moment those kebabs get off the skewers they are rolling up their shirt sleeves and eating with their hands. Not unhappy to report that I'm not above eating here by myself if no one else will join me. I adore the Kakori Kebabs with Rumali Roti. The mutton seekh is also exciting. The place needs to get off the Delhi bandwagon and reduce their prices ever so slightly. But really, I'm a fan!

During a birthday party at a friend's place who lives adjacent to Khan Market, we ordered 1 Dal Makhani, many breads and 3 Chicken Biryanis from this restaurant for home delivery. We received our order within 40 minutes. Our bill was around 1000/-

Now coming to the food, it was delivered hot. The dal makhani was really, really good. I wish we had ordered more than one plate. The biryani was good too, and there was a nice amount of chicken in each plate as we could all divide properly. The helping of the rice itself was also good enough. It was an amazing feast!

This place was discovered by my friends a while ago. They spoke very highly of it and I decided to confirm that. They were absolutely correct.
This is more of a take away joint. There are two tables which can seat upto 8 people.
I went for both Masala Chaap and Malai Chaap. Both of them were superb but I will Point out Malai Chaap. This was the best Malai Chaap I have ever had. If you are a Malai Chaap lover do check out this place, you won't be disappointed.
I will be definitely coming back here very soon.

Quality of the Kakori Kebab in many ways has always been the yardstick to measure the quality of a kebab place. Tucked in one corner of a not so busy part of Khan, its actually Prithviraj Market, this place means serious business in terms of the flavours present in what they serve.

I ended up here during late lunch hours on quiet Saturday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Having been recommended this place by a friend, good for their Afghani tikka roll, I decided to change my choice the moment I saw the Kakori’s in preparation.

Their takeaway place as expected is small, just a big grill alongside a slab where all the prep is done. A couple of tables are placed outside just in case one decides to sit there itself and eat. The management were in particular very proud about their Kakori and that’s what I ordered. The kebabs are made right in front of you with the minced meat chunks skilfully wrapped around the rods and placed carefully on the charred grill.

After a five minute wait I received my order as I decided to have it there itself. The presentation isn’t really something that you care about at such places however I couldn’t really make out the number of kebabs in that roll. First bite in and there was a burst of intense flavour. Soft, as soft as it can get and flavour that one has never tasted before. The price initially might have seemed to be a bit heavy on the pocket but it slowly started to justify itself.

It isn’t exactly juicy but it’s so soft that it vanishes in your mouth. A near perfect blend of spicy and intense flavours clearly made this as one of the best Kakori kebabs that I’ve ever tasted.

With all so good, the issues of location and price do come as a setback for this place. It does have a following, much to the likes of Khan Chacha, they too has a place for themselves and it does give the other Awadhi restaurant a run for it’s money.

I hope they start multitasking soon because this place has everything to be counted amongst one of the best Kakori places in Delhi.

As someone rightly said - Great things come in small packets! So true for this small outlet serving some mouthwatering snacks. No ambience, no proper sitting - just the food, and the food win the show. The stuffing for rolls and the tikka(s) are barbecued in coal. The food was served in thermocol plates. Ordered rolls, tikka and soft drinks.

@paneer_tikka_achaari_roll

Paneer was extra-soft, and the sauce and masala was very good. Pieces of paneer were big, and were properly wrapped inside the roll. The only problem was the roomali roti, it just cant handle the juiciness. Had it been rolled in laccha paratha, the roll would have been more awesome. Had sliced onion within and was served with green sauce.

@mushroom_tikka_roll

Mushroom was really good, fresh and soft. The problem as i mentioned - roomali roti. Apart from that, it was delicious enough to make your taste buds happy. Had sliced onion within and was served with green sauce.

@mushroom_tikka

Quantity of one portion was ample for two. Mushroom pieces were small, and was spicy. Went well with soft drinks. They don't serve hard drinks.

Located in Prithiviraj Market (next to Khan Market), is a very small outlet with mostly takeaways. They do have a sitting arrangement outside, plastic chairs and table, but in summers it will not be a good choice to sit there. There was a committee visit in that area when i went, thus all table chairs were removed. So got it packed and had it my car. There is a stylish hand-wash sink just outside the outlet.

As this place is not a proper dine-in, so not writing about ambience. However the place was clean and hygienic, and stewards were attentive. Prithviraj market has ample parking and this outlet is easily visible. If you are coming by metro, get down at Khan Market (Violet line), and it would take 10 mins (walking) from Gate no: 4.

Pocket friendly and easily reachable place. If you are looking for quick munch or a street-food-type snacking, try out this place.

Found this hidden gem when my friend ordered food from this place. The preparation of Kakori Kebabs and Malai Soya Chap was outstanding to say the least. The kebabs were amongst the best I have had ever. I visit this place from Gurgaon once a month and haven't been able to find a place that serves better Kakori kebabs or Soya Malai Chaap. It's a steal as well. Small but worth!!!

I think this is one of the hidden gems in Khan market area, hardly people know about it. I came across this place some time back when I was passing by and figured out the lighting is good and dinner is possible here.

If you are low on cash and a little high on drinks and craving for good kebabs, you should keep it a pit-stop. A must try is mutton seekh kebab which just settled my hunger for hours and made this place to come in my good books.

Laziz Kebab is one of those quaint little restaurants tucked away in a corner. I had to use GPS to spot it but nonetheless, the struggle was worth it. If one is in the mood for some yummy non-vegetarian food but needs a break from butter chicken, this is the place to be ! Since it was lunch time, we just ordered the special Afghani chicken in cream with roomali roti (the only option in breads). This was followed by the special firni. The food was yummy, the dessert was decent and the bill was way too affordable compared to the Khan market standards. Must try !

On a nice sunday afternoon, the weather being amazing, I felt like having mughlai. I had been reading reviews about this place and thought I might as well give it a try. Good decision I must say.
It's a very small place and can hardly seat 10 people at a time. Luckily we reached when no one was there and we got a table. I ordered afghani chicken with cream and biryani. Wanted to order mutton korma but it wasn't available.
The afghani chicken was to die for. It was floating in cream and it was lip smacking. I didn't mind the oodles of calories that came with it because it was the best afghani chicken I have had. It actually overpowered the biryani and I was completely focussed on eating the afghani chicken.
Love when I find inexpensive amazing food! Definitely will be my go-to place when I'm craving afghani!

I was in Khan Market with my cousins and I was searching for all the famous non-veg rolls outlets in the area. I came across this place called Laziz Kebab, which is slightly away from the main market. It is simple restaurant which is known for their non-veg dishes.

FOOD:
Mutton Kakori Kebabs turned out to be great. They are really soft, full of flavors, and really juicy.
Chicken Tikka Achari Roll is also great and the taste is just amazing.
I was craving for more Kakori Kebab, so I ordered a Special Mutton Kakori Roll. It is a really thick roll which is filled with a big piece of kakori kebab. The moment I put it in my mouth, I was in heaven. I loved every bit of it.
The Special Phirni is not that sweet but it is good.

VERDICT:

Was circling Khan Market, waiting for friends when I had the urge to eat Kebabs... In a bid to avoid the typical Khan Market rush on a friday night, I spotted this small place, which claimed to serve Kabab.

I ordered a plate of Spl Mutton Kakori Kabab, just to see what they termed as Special only to be pleasantly surprised.
I am yet to eat such awesome Kakori Kababs. The meat for soft and succulent, and surprisingly for Delhi standards, this kabab wasn't overpowered with the flavour of Cardamom. It was spicy, which being hot (if you know the difference).

Though I can't claim to have tasted the entire menu, this episode has ensured that I'll definitely go again.

The only problem is, since it slightly away from the main market, you won't spot too many people heading that way. Added to that is the immediate neighbouring area is not exactly well lit.

This restaurant has a very peculiar appeal for me, from the small brass vessel serving as the sink outside to the heavenly smell of kebabs enveloping it, you tend to just walk in and check the place out. Though it is tucked away at the back of Khan Market it serves some of the best Mughlai I have had in a while. Afghani Cream Chicken that will leave you licking the cream off your fingers and rolls that are just the way I like them - full of freshly cooked meat. Leaves you wondering why you would eat at any other place if you were nearby!

This is the most under rated kebab eatery in the whole of South Delhi. The place has gone under multime name changes but thankfully the food remains the same every time. I believe Mughlai cooking is an absolute art and art needs a lot of practice and the food here screams and shouts that loud in every bite. I've noticed the head chef isn't a hotel management degree holder but an old man maybe from puraani dilli and every single bite of food here bursts out of proper purani dilli food authenticity. I'm generally a chicken lover and i barely order mutton outside of home because mutton usually requires a lot of time to cook, many good restaurants in delhi serve under cooked and chewy mutton gravies and i dont know how that works maybe people have just accepted eating chewy under cooked mutton, but this is one place where every mutton dish be it the mind blowing mutton barra, mutton tikka or seekh kebab is a notch better than their chicken counterparts. The Afghani chicken with cream is heavenly. I think the only weakness in their menu is their biryani's which arent upto the standard of the kebab's and curries they have. Dont expect a fine dining experience, Just proper mughlai food.
