Located right in the heart of cr Park market 1, this place is beyond amazing! Pocket friendly and very quick service. I have ordered as well as eaten here. Loved both the experiences. The oder is always delivered before time. The food is lip-smacking and comes closest to Kolkata rolls in Delhi.
I love the food this place serves, and obviously they are known for their non vegetarian food variety. I absolutely love the fried chicken momos from this place. They taste like something you can find nowhere else. You must try! They're available only in the evening though.
I like the Chinese chat platter as well from this place. The chilli chicken, chilli potatoes and noodles are delicious, do include that in your platter.
Also try their fish cutlets.
Not a great fan of their rolls though. But on the whole, this is a flavoursome place with famous Kolkata delicacies and authentic flavour. Nom nom
Its my personal favourite outlet for hot rolls and other bengali fried food. The amazing thing about this place is that they add a special kasundi(mustard sauce) from kolkata which makes it different from other rolls. They also serve chinese chat. I had a nonveg chinese chat that was for 200 rupees . The food is excellent and you will enjoy it eating there...but my only concern is hygiene. I am giving it 3.5 ratings just because of hygiene of the place. They should renovate their shop and maintain some cleanliness.
Tasty and budget friendly Chinese food
Ordered chilli paneer and chilli potato
They had the great chindian vibe and taste
It was tasty and fresh
Though I expected more paneer in the chilli paneer
Good place for when you're in mood of Chinese snacks!
How can anyone ever miss the Kathi Rolls from Kolkata. CR Park Market 1 has a pretty decent Kati Roll joint named Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll. This place serves Bengali-style Kati rolls wrapped in paranthas. They serve a wide range of Kati rolls, such as mutton, chicken, paneer and kebab. They also serve equally delicious Mughlai paranthas and Chops. The rolls are stuffed generously and the stuffings they use is made with minced meat/paneer/chicken mixed well with mustard paste, kasundi, onions, green chillies and their secret masala. I would suggest to go for their Kati rolls.
Definitely an institution in CR Park, it's been a go to place of the community for evening munchies for years. They lack a seating area but you can stand and eat most items they serve. Here's what they serve best:
1. Rolls - Their rolls come fully loaded and are worth their price. Their egg mutton seekh roll stands out and goes well with kashondi.
2. Fried chicken momos with mayo and chutney - To die for!
3. Shwarma - Definitely the best in CR Park!
4. Chinese Chaat - An assortment of chicken / veg dishes with a choice of noodles / fried rice. It's pretty filling.
5. Prawn Cutlet - Worth trying
Would definitely recommend for comfort food on a budget.
Chittaranjan Park is also known as mini Kolkata in Delhi. I went their to try some bengali cuisine food and sweets and i found this joint selling some amazing chinese chat and huge variety of rolls. I had a single egg chicken roll which was amazing with a hint of kasundi and juicy pieces of chicken.
On the way from an art exhibition, we decided to drop in to CR Park and pack few rolls. Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll is one of many joints in the market who are popular for their rolls, chops and Chinese Chat (yes, you read it right!).
We ordered Special Paneer Rolls, One Chicken Chop and couple of Deviled Eggs. The Paneer Rolls were made to our order with less oil and no eggs. With ample filling, they tasted quite good. The Chicken Chop was almost bland for my taste (was there chicken in this chop?). The Deviled Eggs, as expected, were quite tasty.
The no frill joints in CR Park serve you good clean food without burning a hole in your pocket.
I have never been to Kolkata but I am sure that it would taste something very similar to this. They would make sure that you enjoy your food, because while you are having your food they will ask you about it and if there is anything which you might want to change they will happily change them.
Well if you love kathi roll then this is the best place to be!
Kolkata kathi roll is located in market no 1 cr park . Th hot & spicy kathi rolls are just lip smacking.
Apart from rolls fish cutlet, shawarma, chicken cutlet & aloo chop is definitely must try
Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll - Not Just Rolls......
CR Park is bound by four variant markets and first among them has this famous joint called the Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll. But the place is way beyond serving just rolls.
Like every other place here, Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll too serves what Begalis love best. Fried Fish. Along with a large variety of rolls, the place serves, Fish Fries, Chicken Fries and Even Mutton for that matter. Perfect for Non-Vegetarians.
Not every vegetarian will be delighted to be here but the Non-vegetarians will be in love with this place. I tried the Fish Fry which costs about 60 bucks and the fry is undoubtedly super delicious. Alongside the dish, you have the mustard paste which is a perfect combination as far as fried fish is concerned.
CR Park consists of countless food joints and Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll is not the only option you will have. But do make sure you try the place out at least once.
Food - 4/5

Note : Kolkata Hot Kathi Roll is a place serving delicious Non-vegetarian quick bites. Worth a visit.
Located in the CR park market 1 KHKR serves excellent quality bengali and mughlai food.
I had the double egg single Chicken, double egg and the double egg single Mutton roll. All of them were brilliant. Perfectly cooked meat, amazing balance of the spices and flavours.
I had a plate of their chicken lollipop which is like an Indian KFC but Goddamn it was amazing. Crispy fried chicken with beautifully balanced and scented Indian spice rub =wow.
I'll be back.
As the name suggests this shop is all about rolls and some more rolls. The menu includes a plethora of rolls which includes Mutton roll, Paneer roll, Prawn cutlet, Veg-chop, Chop cutlet, Mughlai Paranthas, Barbeque, Lolly pops, Fish rolls, Afghani chicken, Chicken tikka, Chicken tikka roll, Mochar chop, different kinds of soups, Shawarma, Chinese chaat to name a few.
The wide variety of Veg/Non Veg rolls on menu is just worth trying and worth exploring. You name a roll and you'll find it here.
The chef heats the pre cooked stuffing and paratha on the tawa and tops different sauces including 'kashundi' a bengali sauce usually made up of mustard and raw mangoes, he then sprinkles masala and chopped onions before wrapping it into a delicious kati roll/ kathi roll.
What distinguishes Kolkata kati rolls from the other kati rolls available in Delhi is the use of various kinds of sauces and a masala that's a secret.
As you take a bite of the chicken roll a sweet flavour is followed by spicy and tart. These flavours can probably be the USP of their rolls and maybe that's why this shop had a lot of customers milling around it for rolls.
Among the rolls, we ordered Fish Tikka Roll, Chicken Kathi Roll and Mix Veg Roll. The Chicken and Veg rolls were decent, but the Fish Tikka Roll made our mouths water for more. It was perfect – juicy and filled with just the right sauces. We ordered much more of those than we had anticipated! We also ordered a couple of plates of Mutton Mughlai Parantha. The plate contains a mutton filling wrapped in a crispy parantha served with aloo ki sabzi and some salad and chutney. The mutton was soft and fresh, and we all enjoyed this dish.
yummy kathi roll..
I just had 1 panner kathi roll, its just awesome the way he made the roll is so nice and the way he wrapped the roll is also soo cool not difficult to have while driving too..
I heard a lot about this place but today i get a chance to visit them.
I will visit again soon and try some more Veg Chinese Chat.
Always try their rolls whenever in CR Park market no.1. Their egg chiken roll is one of my favourites which is made by lining the ineer part of the paratha with egg and filled with chicken fillings with right amount of spices, ketchup, chilly sauce and kashundi[bengali mustard sauce]. Sitting arrangement is nil but do have tall tables where one can stand. Amust try at least once
Paradise for homesick bengalis. ... 1 stop destination for A to Z Kolkata street food.... huge variety awesome taste quite pocket friendly. ..must try all types of rolls you will find it a lot of difference yhan other north indian roll joints.....must haves are prawn cutlets, chicken seek, pomfret fry, momos, mutton chap, fish fry and mutton muglai.... the experience will leave u wanting for more though ur tummy will b full after 1 double egg mutton roll....so enjoy....
I go to CR park almost every week. This joint is one of its kind for the typical Kolkata street food- I find the mutton and prawn chops to be simply the best of the lot. The rolls are also worth a mention, specially the egg chicken roll - supremely mouthwatering :-D........Kudos to this place for keeping kolkata's memory alive here.
The best kathi rolls in Delhi....tikkas are good also.
I go to CR Park pretty frequently for primarily 2 reasons....one I'm a bong in every way, and second..I have a lot of friends who put up at this mini Kolkata in Delhi. I don't miss Kolkata anymore whenever I'm here. A few weeks back I was here with family for an evening out and bumped into this fast food shop at Market No: 1.
The small shop front was bustling, with a lot of customers waiting for their rolls. We ordered egg chicken rolls, fish fry and mutton chap cutlet. The rolls are nice and crispy and reminded me of the rolls I used to have in Kolkata....almost there. Fish fry could have been better as I found the fish to be something else and not fresh water bhetki as they claimed to be. Mutton chap cutlet was good. Overall, a value for money kolkata street-food joint.
This joint draws maximum crowd. The list of goodies you will get here are the chicken roll, veg roll, double egg double chicken roll which is filling enough for a meal itself.
The place also offers street Chinese food which I would not recommend much because it's a Indian adoptation of Chinese.
The chop section is good. One should try the devil chop, mutton, prawn and chicken chops and off course the fish chops. All bong items.
A typical street food jaunt which also offers chicken tandoori items like tikkas, aalu tikka etc. is a good place to come when you want it to remain cheap and don't want to visit the kitchen.
Nothing reminds me of kolkata street food as much as the hot kathi rolls of this shop. you get amazing egg chicken rolls here. Has spent many evening here just waiting for the roll, between two hot tawas (anyone who visited this place would know the meaning.) the crispy parantha, juicy egg, succulent chicken with a dash of lime a sprinkling of chilli...ahhha...just mouth watering. Can't really count how many times i have had kebabs or roll from this shop. many of my non bengali friends also got hooked to the taste. cheers to kolkata hot kathi roll for keeping the memory of kolkata alive in the mmidst of Delhi.
The oldest roll maker in cr park, probably. They make the best rolls in cr park, their roll is crisp and tasty, other joints usually put in too much of oil and the rolls become soggy, the fillings are also not as tasty when compared to this place, chicken roll and mutton roll are the usps, their cutlets, chops are also the best in cr park
Delicious food and service, would highly recommend. Everything's perfect. Such friendly staff.
Always the best taste kathi chicken roll
Single egg single chicken Mughlai Paratha was amazing. It is served with aloo ki sabji and salad. The stuffing is so good that it's a meal for one. The price is ₹180. Next time I'll try mutton cutlet and fish kobiraji.
Fish/chicken/mutton/prawn Kobiraji is ₹200 per plate.
First of all , all items are tasty but there is no contact no.mentioned .kindly add it and I n my family had some things for take way n it was many things and at dinner time , it was missing so be careful next time
If you want to have some authentic Bengali style cutlets, rolls, chops etc. Then this is the spot. At a nominal price you can get a handful from this joint.
