Chicken rara in gravy and chicken chatpata in starters are really good. Quantity is also good and price is okay.
The Calcutta Chicken Biryani came with a great taste. Spice level was good.
I found the rice was on the cheaper end which did not feel right with the overall flavor and texture of Biryani.
Great food, for me it's a complete dine restrau irrespective of your foodie nature whether it's veg or non-veg. Average cost and quantity of food is also fine for two people. One should try this place.

I had ordered handi paneer with khamiri roti and they served well with a tasty and delicious paneer and a good khamiri roti with proper cuttlery everything is properly packed and also we like the food too give this place a try i hope youβll like it

One of the few restaurants that serve good authentic food. The menu lists a variety of delicacies. Costing is a bit on the higher side considering the student saturation around. A few dishes are way too spicy to eat.
Ordered for home delivery from foodpanda.. Not only was their butter chicken yummy and rotis delicious and hot, I have given them an extra .5 because of their packaging!! The food was yummy in itself and their Murg afghani tikka was delicious. Helpings were extremely generous as well! Totally worth the price!

All of the dishes are so tasty be it vegetarian or non-vegetarian. I am eating here since long and have tasted almost everything.Chicken Biryani, all of the chicken and veg kebabs, and gravy dishes too are very delicious. Food quality is upto the mark. Packaging is also very good and above all the delivery time cannot be compared with any other restaurant. You order it and the food is delivered in no time.
My 90% of food deliveries at home are from here. Restaurant ambience is also very nice. Staff is very courteous and they make food nicely according to the specifications given.

Once upon a night in Sant Nagar, Burari we ordered food from this restaurant.Β
Few confusion occurs in delivery which made some delay in delivery time but at last the food got delivered.
First of all, their packaging is really good.
Food quality was also nice. We have ordered Tawa Chicken, Chicken Korma and Awadhi Chicken. All of these dishes tasted nice.Β
But one thing, i did not like was that there was a lot oil floating in Chicken Korma and Tawa Chicken which was really not good for us. It was neither butter nor ghee. It was just oil.Β
@Shaane e Awadh: Please save your oil as we don't need it to cook our food at home or we are not going to drink it.
Also, they had told that the Awadhi Chicken was spicy but it was not spicy at all.
Overall, a good treat.

The place is really nice for ordering from home because they pack the food really well. The Calcutta biryani is a must try and the shawarma rolls are nice too.
I Love this place. I would not hesitate to say that this is the only suitable restaurant in whole Mukherjee nagar which provides good food, good ambience, good place to sit and talk.
Don't forgot to try chicken dum biryani and rhara chicken. Also newly added item chicken shwarma...mouth watering.
Best item - Awadhi murg.. Delectable..Tawa murg is also perfectly spiced..dahi murg has the most sublime gravy but murg makhani is not upto the mark..shwarma rolls are worth trying..the seekh kebabs are terrible, chewy and rubbery..staff is courteous but the service is slow..ambience is ok..

It is a little outlet in mukharjee nagar, I ordered a Kolkata Biryani for home delivery. The meal was nicely packed and had additional curry and salad as well. The Kolkata Biryani was just average, a little too oily for my taste, however it did have all the ingredients of an authentic Kolkata biryani. People living around the area should try this place and I will be adding more balanced review once I try other dishes too.
Good Food and Fancy Copper Crockery :), This is how I sum up my experience at shan-e-awadh. Wholesome dining experience in an otherwise small restaurant. The food offered here is good with all the requirements of a awadhi restaurant. The kebabs are delicious and the chicken Biryani (though my friend was complaining of the less no of pieces ). The vegetarian food is delicious too. The management is really customer friendly. Thumbs up.
I'm from Lucknow and had been missing the galauti kababs of lucknow. This is the only restaurant i found serving galauti kababs. I ordered the kababs at my place. The quality and taste of the kababs was very good and the food was very nicely packed and was delivered in quick time. I recommend this restaurant and wish them good luck.

This is a very nice place for veg and nonveg both food lovers. The things I like here is along with the taste of food is good, it serves water in brass utensil. They also provide some value for money food(if your budget is quite low and can take away only).
