Ordered a Masala Dosa and a Plain Dosa.
I was really amazed at the delivery of dosa’s in Pizza Boxes. The potato filling was perfect with the perfect amount of spices, salt. The chutneys and sambar were good but the dosa itself was a little undercooked. Not bad tasting undercooked but would’ve been better if it was fried for a little more time.
Nice place with good quality food cheap rates alwys prefer all frend to visit this resturant and test the food good locality good space good srevice five star rated place for me

Food quality was very good and delivery is very quick.
best delivery and good food
amazing taste, very reasonable ,quantity was quite good.... happy to order again ☺
So I ordered Mysore masala dosa from this joint. It tasted very good and I specially liked the sambhar and coconut chutney. There packaging is actually very good. And the price is very decent as compared to the quality of food that they offer.
Got Veg Chowmein and Vada Sambhar home delivered. They made the Chowmein as per the recommendations. Great in terms of both quantity as well as quality. Recommended for quick hearty South Indian meal.
Reasonable price& decent taste !!
dosa was good and delivery service is also good . my order was deliver on time.
Taste was ok , Deliverd on time
i luvd d sambhar and the packind was super good..
Had idli, onion rawa masala dosa and then filter coffee. All were nice, idli was fresh and fluffy, the way I like it, onion rawa masala dosa was also nice and crisp. Coffee had extra sugar for my taste but otherwise was nice. 4 plates idli, 2 dosas and 3 coffees costed 580 bucks - absolute value for money.
Its one of nice and affordable places to enjoy south indian food in kamla nagar. We have tried their mix paneer uttapam, masala dosa, chowmein and sambar vada. They are always good in quantity and quality at best prices.
One the few nice little south Indian cafes tucked in the predominantly north Indian cuisine dominated landscape of Kamlanagar , Delhi.
I've been here so often that a review was long due.
I've tried their Masala Dosa, filter coffee, sambar vada, idly and loved each of the dishes .This is coming from someone who is a bit finicky about the authenticity of taste.
Usually quiet in late evenings the place is not very heavy on the pocket and commendably high in efficient service and cleanliness.
My saviour!!
All time favourite
MASALA DOSA AND FRIED IDLI MUST TRY
Steamed Idli also very soft and puffy.
Serve you sambhar and chutney twice thrice
It really worth every single penny.
Hidden in one of the by-lanes in Kamla Nagar, this is a super pocket friendly cafe which serves surprisingly yummy South Indian cuisine. Not only was the food cooked in minimal oil but also was devoid of excessive spices. Head to this place for an overall hearty-under budget meal.
Ordered using swiggy well the outlet is quite economic with quantity of food served😍
What we ordered :-
Idli sambhar :- idli was sticky 😣 so needs improvement :( ... Well quite impressed with the taste of sambhar😍subtle taste with bit of tangyness from imli😍👌 totally love it
.
Vadha :- vadha's were less oily 😋 and spicy to have so all in all a good experience idli needs a bit improvement though.
Its a nice place not too fancy but serves good south indian food, tried their onion masala dosa, rawa masala dosa, onion uttapam and filter coffee.
I am so addicted to this place for south Indian food! I love their dosa. And since when I was in 1 st year of college I used to come here. It serves varieties of dosa and it's very pocketfriendly!

It's a small restaurant located in the lanes of Kamla Nagar. This place serves really good South Indian food and an amazing cup of filter coffee. Their South Indian more (buttermilk) is refreshing and delicious. Sambhar and Masala Dosas are definite winners. If you live around this area, this is the best place to satisfy your South Indian food cravings !
Chennai hot cafe if you ever visit kamla nagar you should definitely visit Chennai hot cafe and it is usually known for coffees. And they are also known for south Indian dishes. They cost 350 for two persons and it is very much affordable for any person. It usually perfect for breakfast, cravings and light foods. The filter coffee is amazing . The coffee makes you feel fresh and taste was amazing.
The service provided by them was also good no doubt about it. The presentation of the dishes were excellent. The ambience was also good.
Dosa was big in size enough for a person
Sambhar was good in taste
Coconut chutney an average
Masala dosa and paneer dosa is very famous .In paneer dosa good amount of paneer was loaded.,😚😎
Simple South Indian cafe located in the market lanes .Serves South Indian food at affordable price.
Tried fried idli for the first time.
Good at taste . Not the best south indian that I had..
Coconut chutney was nice..👍
Went here on a recommendation of a friend .
Located in kamla nagar this small quite place is good to have a budget friendly South indian meal.
The dosa was extremely long.
Sambar was average in taste.
Coconut chutney - good.
Red chutney - 😑 .
Had paneer masala dosa which was loaded with paneer and a masala dosa.
Two good dosa at Rs.200 is a good deal my friend.
a quiet place in the hustling bustling ever crowded kamla nagar, tucked in a quite lane is this gem. the place serves good south indian food along with a few chinese options. the place has decent seating area, very fast service and great food at decent prices (affordable). food served is fresh, tasty and full of flavours. i have a problem with places which usually serve stale tasting coconut chutney, but this place did not disappoint. the idlis were soft, the masala inside the dosa was done right, the sambar was hot and spicy. the best thing the servers are attentive and you wouldn't have to ask them to bring refills as they do it before you have finished. ambience- 2.5/5 (just chairs, tables and a TV)service- 4.5/5 (they are fast and also food is served hot)food- 3.5/5value for money- 4/5will i be back- yes.
If you really want to have good Dosa at a reasonable price, this is the place to be. SIt back and enjoy, they specifically give the tomatoe masala in dosa which is a treat. Filter coffee is also good to have.
Good food good service.
Value for money.
Must try the food.
Will visit again to try some other stuffs
Will go with friends of old times stays their near buy.
Chennai hot cafe only for south indian lovers. Its a mini cafe. We tried here Green chilly masala dosa. Fried idli, chowmein . Uttapam its good.
Awesome food. Cheap and best describes this place very aptly. Masala vada is what we liked the most. We always eat here whenever we go to kamla nagar. Must try it once.
It's a small cafe which is quite difficult to locate at first. Overall the place is clean and homely. I have had fried idli and filter coffee both of which were good. Reasonable price.
This is one of the best south indian restaurant in north delhi with decent pricing specially for students. It is a south indian restaurant but have come out with a golgappa stall just outside the restaurant.Oh my my just tried there golgappas and i must say if u r fond of golgappas this is the best place to have .Excellent is a small word just try yourself and see. they are to die for. these people are serving them in 7 different flavours and must say EK SE BADHKAR EK SPECIALLY THE GUAVA FLAVOUR.YUMMY.
I am a Big fan of Chennai Hot Cafe...I hv been Chennai Hot Cafe Many times...U can say it's like my adda...whenever I go to Kamla Nagar...Affordable price...gud varieties of South Indian Food...Awesome Taste...Love the Place...😍

Tasty food with decent pricing.
I've been to this place three times now and enjoyed my meal each time. The South Indian fare is largely unadulterated by the local tastes and that is the best part. The definitely recommend the spicy Buttermilk. The service is decent too. It's sad to see this place mostly empty majority of the times.
an awesome place to visit where u get to fill your stomach n enjoy the taste...a very reasonable pricelist is cherry on the top of the cake....must visit for all the south indian lovers...vada and plain dosa is my favourite from here coz I couldn't find it softier anywhere else with a crispy skin...n the thin dosa which indeed is crisp tastes awesome with nariyal chutney...
This store offers very good south indian food with affordable price. One must taste only south indian food here rather than opting for any other cuisine.
This place is a scam waiting to be uncovered. Me and eight of my friends from the Hansraj Debating Society showed up at 8 am sharp for the early bird discount. But lo and behold, there was nobody to be found. I think this is an establishment functioning on deceit. I suggest that this farce be done away with and allow me, my friends and our salivating early morning glands to take our miserly business elsewhere. Thanking you. Bad Juju (Idli Connoisseur)
PS. We once did actually discount but two the eight suffered acute dysentery owing to the idlis surviving through the previous night's business. But the deal is so good that then others just told them to tighten their bowels and just show up again and again for the discount we love so much.
5/5 for the concept. 3/5 for its execution.
I have been a fan of CHENNAI HOT CAFE for as long as i can remember. I have witnessed its transition from a stand-and-eat joint to a proper restaurant.
Its not a fine dining place ( as the uploaded photos suggest ). Its a place to enjoy satisfying south indian items. The menu is limited but whatever they have to offer is mostly well prepared & exudes flavors without unnecessary oil. Perfect for breakfast cravings & light food. They got the basic idli, dosa , uttapam ( I wish they would add upma as well ! ) etc. The filter coffee is good too.
A good place to be :)
The place is small but the food is great it is one of the best south Indian food outlets in kamla nagar the best item that I liked was their idli
Dosa lovers go hit the place today! Its authentic.. delicious. Try the buttermilk, its refreshing and chilled. Its light on your pocket. simple place with simple food. Go Try !!
I recently visited this place.we ordered plane and masala dosa.dosa was good.sambhar was also authentic and hot.the only thing it lacked was some south indian chutney(made fm garlic),like what u get in sagar ratna and other south indian chains.they can also improve there coconut chutney.otherwise its good and a good value for money.there butter milk was also good.service was prompt.but i must admit that somehow it has lost that old charm of eating south indian like a street food as standing.
The place maybe small, hard to locate within the streets of kamla nagar. But it serves good and delicious south indian food. Be it the idli, masala dosa, vada or rava dosa, all are tasty. The additional thing of this place is the butter milk it serves. Its tasty and refreshing in the hot summer days. The prices are quite reasonable.
Visited this place in Wednesday, and it really is a very good place. A little cafe with the first thing that struck you is the cleanliness of this place. The food is good too and must say its a value for money.
We ordered Sambar Vada which was quite good. Their sambar is well cooked and tastes good too. I actually had a craving for coffee for weeks and went to this place for the same. I loved the filter coffee, I'm not an expert on coffee. But loved the taste.
Update :
I have been visiting this place and it is by far one of the most consistent places I have ever been too. Rava Masala Dosa is such a delight.
Good food. I love their fried idli.
One of the few places with good Sambhar.
Mysore Dosas lack the required flavour.
Rawa dosa is nice and crispy.
There are better places out there which actually make you full. Try Nandini's Cafe in Vijay Nagar.
Small food joint ..offering good south Indian food... Service is good... Food is also tasty.... Overall a nice place to grab a bite of South Indian cuisine...
They started very well but after setting up a proper restaurant, they have lost the charm. No complimentary red chuttney anymore. But the dosas are good on pocket, decent place for a lunch.
Excellent south indian food at reasonable rates
There is not any place bettr for south fast foods than this one, just go nd try
Best south indian in Knaggs!
Very nice joint for idli, dosa and other delicacies at nominal prices. It is worth going at least once a week.
