I fall short of words when it comes to describe this place. Every time I visit here I literally don't feel like going back. They serve impeccable and delectable food with a smile on face, mesmerizing music, superb crowd, beautiful ambience and friendly staff.
A special mention of hookah with a top class unique flavour always raises the bar high.
What else is required to make an event a special one with all above factors available under one roof.

So we decided to go to this place.When I entered I could get the feel of those movie bars with attached balconies where girls are having hookah along with their boyfriends. It was a movie wala feeling.Setup is good if you want to get movie type ambience.We went there just to dance and music was just spectacular.Be at punjabi,hindi or English the music was just too good to groove you in your chair. The village balcony restaurant is situated in middle of hauz khas village.It is very dim lighted and there are disco lights in middle of this restaurant and a dance floor is left open.The ambiance is okayish.Little lighting in place can be more healthier for the environment and can add more glamour look to the restaurant.
We entered and ordered two beer and two vodka shots.And then we ordered the brownie sundae.
The beers were kingfisher and vodka shots we had after that the order of brownie came .The brownie was a little hard but when combined with vanilla ice cream it was okayish.Presentation was nice.The place lacked a little lighting.Place could be a little more live.
I visit this place often and can say that I kind of love this place. Yes, it has got small space but I like to stand in the open area. All the staffs are friendly and take good care of you. They have got food variety too. They just need to make this place little LIVE through live musics and some events. All n all good place to hangout.

I felt that the ambience needs little improvement. Installing Ac in the balcony is indeed my favorite part. We order baked mushroom caps, hookah and sangria. Food was (y). I would suggest them to lower the volume of the music in the day time. As it becomes difficult to talk.

Snacks (read: Chakna) are good. Service courteous and quick. Drinks light on pocket and heavy on liver. A good acoustics and small hall makes it a perfect setting to liven up after a hard day's work.

The ambience of village balcony is best in Hauz khas village. Outside sitting area really give the feeling of village. Their food was very yummy . Service was quick. Along with friend it was a memeroble day.
With so many concept based restaurants emerging in delhi...this particular restaurant is based on the concept of a 'village' with a modern outlook..they have covered all the important details like putting up a hanging lamp( laal ten) in the corners and a fireplace or mud houses like door where the dj plays to give it village like look...also they have many dishes which are speciality of different regions of india which u won't find in any other restaurants..Would recommend this place for sure..they play good music too!

We went on a Friday night. It was quite lit. The music was just amazing. Did not try food but sheesha and drinks was not bad either. The crowd was also nice. And it kind if fun watching foreigners dancing to Bollywood music.
I was here few days back with colleagues for a birthday celebration and It's just a decent place as per me. Everything was great but not as good as some of the other places in the area. The drinks were beautifully crafted but the food wasn't much flavourful. The pizza was just ok,peri peri chicken was well cooked though. overall satisfied with the place not sure if will return back

It's a small, vintage themed, casual dining place/ bar with both, an indoor and an outdoor seating. Has a small, beautiful balcony decorated with hanging lamp shades, making it a great place to view the hustle and bustle of the street, chat over beers, enjoy the weather or to smoke. Ambience is lively, electrifying and welcoming. Interiors are dimly lit, woody and cozy. The total seating capacity is for about 40 people. The bar is nicely placed indoors. The music was loud. The DJ in the house made us groove to his collection of peppy tracks. The offers were quite attractive. Appropriately priced. We got a table in the balcony and got ourselves seated on the bar stools. Seating was comfortable. The menu was elaborate. Service was super quick. Presentation was good. Serving size was enough for 2-3 people. The staff was energetic, efficient and smiling. Not to miss, the manager, Mr. Sushil was very courteous and made sure everything was fine.
Coming to the food, we ordered for-
HUKKAH:
• Paan mint hukkah- nicely made. High on flavor. Gave out smooth and thick smoke.
DRINKS:
• Cosmopolitan cocktail- perfectly sweet. Made with vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, and freshly squeezed or sweetened lime juice. Looked beautiful.
• Chocolate shake- did not like it that much. Expected it to be thick.
• Mango vanilla shake- very refreshing. Thick and fresh. Boldly flavored. This one's a must try.
STARTERS:
• Chatora Patta- really enjoyed this. Brought out the 'Chatora' in us. A nice mix of banana chips, puffed rice and nuts with khatti-meethi chutney. The best snack with drinks.
• Grilled chicken wings- simply wonderful. Soft and succulent. Well marinated in sweet and spicy sauce.
• Chilli chicken- juicy, tender chicken pieces tossed with onions and capsicums.
• Chilli paneer- was hot! Really very spicy but liked it the way it was made. Fried paneer pieces were average sized and soft.
• Raw mango croquetas- a thumbs up to this one! Shaped like a tikki, had a filling of paneer, raw mango, cheese and onion. Served with peanut butter sauce which was quite a taste enhancer. A delicacy. Must try.
• Marwari Empanadas- won our hearts! It was gujiya shaped with filling of potato and cheese. Quite creative.
• Grilled rum chicken- upto the mark! Lip smacking. Rum flavored juicy chicken and well marinated with secret spices.
MAIN COURSE:
• Paneer Lababdar- quite flavorful. Chunky cottage cheese cubes cooked in onion capsicum gravy.
• kashmiri Rogan josh- Star dish of the day! Gravy was thick and finger licking good. Mutton pieces were easy to chew.
• Chicken tikka masala- found it to be very spicy. Well cooked as chicken pieces were soft and juicy.
DESSERT:
• Brownie with vanilla ice cream- sinful! An absolute delight after a yummy meal.

I went to this place and ordered :
Hummus Bin Mekhaleyah - hummus with crispy fried cauliflower and pita bread was very delicious. Hummus was creamy and tasted amazing
Velvety keema pao - pao buns served with mutton mince which were really soft. Though the garlic taste overpowered the taste of other spices, it tasted okayish
All berries smoothie - well, I wanted to try something new & this smoothie was a great choice of experiment. Unlike other shakes which are too sweet, this one was a bit sour balancing out the sweetness.
Choco vault mudcake - it was presented so beautifully that you automatically go and grab it. It had so much of caramel that melts in your mouth leaving your tummy so pleased and joyous
Overall the food was presented neatly and the service was in time. I had an amazing experience.
One of my recent visits to this amazingly looking vintage place made my day.Warm ambeince,friendly staff and an old prime european village theme which made the start of the evenning great.
Well to start off the server suggested me a caribbean pina colada which exceeded my expectations.The morning roast salad with grilled chicken was a treat,an appetizer which was really appetizing was chilli tomato fish and the main course marinara as my main just topped it all.All in all it was an amazing experince .Planning to visit next weekend again.Definately recommended guys!!!!

We went there on my bday 01/05/2016. The place is nice with an open balcony for smokers. The drinks were nice and cheap. It was Sunday. The offers going on were nice. We paid about 3300 for food and drinks included. We had ordered pizza, chicken chilli dry and some other starters. The DJ started playing nice music but only after 10 pm. Nice staff.

Located in haus khas village, we spent most of our time standing as we did not get any place to sit. Plus we ordered some cocktails which were way to sweet did not like them at all. The ambience was just normal and they had a mixed crowd bad and good both. Did not eat anything so cannot comment on food.
Good place to hang out. I went here to have the refreshing mocktails that they serve and I loved them. I ordered one orange peach drink and one lychee colada, I went with my mom. And I had the CitySurf app which has buy one get one free offers on restaurants so we only had to pay for one drink and the other was free. Loved the mocktails and love the part that I got to save money through CitySurf.
Hauz khas village or I should say the hub for youngsters is filled with a variety of amazing cafe,lounge,restro and bar. One of them is the retro themed newly opened Village Balcony. As the name suggests the cafe as an open balcony which gives a perfect view of the streets of hauz khas . The ambience of the restaurant is lively at the night. The Dj plays a blend of bollywood and punjabi songs which enchances the liveliness of the restro. The bar offers excellent brands of Whisky.
I ordered a white sauce pasta which was really creamy and had an excellent taste .
Along with it I ordered chilly chicken and virgin mojito. The drink was perfectly made. And the most amazing part,the lounge is pocket friendly.

Hauz Khaz Village, once like an abandoned land now caters to thousands of people looking for a place to get rid of all the hassels of life and have fun without bounds, because well the village is home to a large number of pubs, restros, bars, restaurants and what not! It is literally filled to the brim with establishments which cater to a variety to tastes, be it families, youngsters or just party lovers.
Although being filled with such establishments, only a few of these actaully live upto their expectations, and The Village Balcony is one such gem in HKV.
Spread across a single floor, it houses an indoor seating have a seating capacity of about 40 people and then an outdoor balcony seating for those of you who'd like the enjoy the weather.
The lounge has a very cozy feel to it which is multiplied with the addition of a bar, a Small DJ Booth and a dance floor which is located amidst the seating.
The lounge primarily caters to youngsters looking to enjoy a good party, great food and even awesome music and service.
In Starters the best things to have are singaporean dumpling soup, chatora patta salad which has banana chips with some rice and sprouts.
Do not miss the Chilli Tomato Fish, it was absolutely delicious and cooked well, the spice content in the dish wonderfully mixed with the softness of the fish.
Nargisi Scoth eggs was another heart winner, consisting of boiled eggs coated with keema, it was hard on the outside but soft on the inside, in short a perfectly well done dish.
We further ordered Chilli chicken and its veg counterpart, chilli panner to satisfy some intra party hunger.
The Chilli Chicken was juicy, tender and hot, real HOT, just the way chilli chicken should be.
Chilli paneer however was an average affair.
The Next order was a Vegetable Mix Sauce Penne pasta, the mix sauce was cheesy, creamy and tasted as if it was straight from the heaven.
In Drinks we had ordered a LIIT, which is quite the same affair at every place, some Brain Hemorrhage shots, Lychee colada mocktail had that freshness of the lychee and was an absolute refresher.
The party here stays on till late and even post party the service makes sure that everything is done in order to keep that smile present on your face.
The balcony can be spotted right in front of the HKV entrance and is barely a 5 minute walk from the parking, (making it easy for you to carry your drunk friends, eh? :P)
All in all this place has definitely won my heart for the excellent party, food and service that they have to offer and is certainly one of the better places to party in HKV!

Been there for the time as we were looking for a decent place to sit and talk and I chose the other restaurant by looking at the reviews but after reaching HKV found out it got closed and then we chose to go to social but it was packed too as it was Sunday . We decided to meet in HKV for a family lunch. We were looking for a place where we could have our food in the balcony, and right at the entrance of HKV we saw this place in the 1st floor and decided to try it out. We were the 1st guests of the day as they seem to be tidying up the place when we entered. We tried a place in the balcony but it was freaking hot so we entered indoors under the A/C. But even that too was not working good. About the place, very simple decor. Not very eye-catching. Very few tables so you have a lot of space to move around. Not much of sofa seating space available. With regards to the music, they were playing some tracks of years gone by. May be they were getting into the groove.
For the meal, we ordered the following:
1. Vegan Mousakka
2. Latino Tortilla
3. Mini Truck Burger
4. Mushroom and Corn Parmiagaono
Regarding the burger, double patty, quite juicy but filled with mayonnaise. Mousakka and Parmiagaono were good too. The servings were enough for three of us. Food wise again nothing excellent but decent. There is always scope for improvement.
Since it was a quite place we sat there for more 3 hours and chatted our time away. They have a very lively bar too with some good brands being served.

Cool place! Service was a bit late! Shisha was really not good! The coal provided to us was in pieces! I mean that was disappointing! That's the reason why we were asked to change the coal multiple number of times! When asked about the WiFi, no one knew the password! This can be checked!
Ice teas are amazing! Even their green is some organic tea brand! Ordered for paan raas shisha but guy added kiwi to it because he assumed it would be too strong for me. Prices are ok!

I visited this place earlier this month for a dear friend's birthday party who is very very picky when it comes to food. She had decided on this place after much zomato research on HKV.
Interior is nicely done. Seating arrangments are quite comfortable and spacious, much opposite to HKV norms. Some peppy music was on. I personally liked their outer seating area, but since it was hot we decided otherwise. 2 drinks for each lady was free that afternoon. So, we had a great first impression.
For starters we ordered:
Patatas Bravas: which was very crispy and flavour was lip smacking.
Chilli tomato fish: I somehow didnt get the tangy tomato taste. But the fish pieces was fresh and nicely cooked. Quantity although was very disappointing. But the sides it provided with this item will light up your faces!!
Grilled chicken wings: it was very spicy but we kept eating thats much yummy it was!
Mushroom and corn Parmigiano: very innovative and delicious. Again quantity was less.
The time our starters were served. We ordered the main course as well. Items ordered:
Chicken Pasande: It was very delicious. And the quanitity was just enough for one person. We all just loved it.
Grilled chicken breast: again a whooping amount of food it was. The sides were tasty too.
Sea food Mariana: the sauce was of just the perfect taste. This thing was for two people easily.
Chicken Lasagna: cheesy? yes! Full of chicken? yes!
Lasagna Vedero: full of cheese with very soft lasagna stripes....and nicely cooked vegetables with tomato sauce.
Only disappointment was: we had to wait for 1 HOUR for the main course!

I grabbed my seat in the balcony. The view was beautiful. It captured the essence of hauz khaz village with so many youngsters and energising vibes there. Food was good. Overall good experience.
It's a compact hall kind of dance hub, it has good Bollywood music going on, if you like Bollywood music then in hkv this place is both affordable and enjoyable .
I'm a DJ so I have played here twice and the response was good. 👍🏻
