I heard a lot about Alkauser and therefore ordered some curries from here for delivery. I must say it's a true paradise for the mughlai food lovers. We ordered Kadhai paneer, dal makhani and warki parantha.
The taste of the dishes was simply perfect . The kadhai paneer had a very rich and thick gravy which was full of authentic spices chopped onions , bell peppers and big chunks of paneer peices. The taste was simply outclass. The dal makhani was also finger licking good. The rich and creamy texture was suberb in taste. The parantha was super crispy and very good in taste. Overall a perfect place for authentic mughlai food

I am not a mutton person and they have options like chicken galauti which was flavorful and mouth melting.

Alkauser is quite famous for its mughali and north indian food so I decided to have food from here yesterday and the food was just amazing as I expected. They have some special magic in their food which really make it tasty. I had their butter chicken and it was really amazing, not sweet. Perfect combination and also the pieces of chicken were really soft. I also had their chicken afghani tikka and it was amazing too. I also tried their rumali roti and it was also soft. Overall I just love the food from here.

Must try the Varqi Parantha, one of the best around the area. The curries are generally delicious but I personally steer clear of the biryani. The biryani comes in a proper wooden pot and gives an authentic feel but the taste isn't as good as one would like.
Mutton Nihari is the best dish here. Had ordered butter rotis & garlic naan to accompany them ..they were awesome. Had a lovely lunch on a busy sunday afternoon while out for a shopping spree.
Well, I wouldn't vote for the gravies. But, if at all kebab is understandable to you, go to this place! The gulauti kebabs literally melted in mouth! Had am amazing experience!
Have tried Chicken tikka, Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Qorma. Each of the item was well cooked. However the Qorma was but more spicy hence one star less. Otherwise a good and delicious food.
I ordered mutton galauti. It was full of flavors and perfectly cooked. A little overpriced though. This was my second time, I ordered through zomato. I will recommend the restaurant.
i never have had lucknowi style biryani-so it's not best of me to judge the dish.Rather i can share my xperience- Rice were moisten along with masala,Taste is quite different from HYDERABADI BIRYANI..basically it was in bit moisten form..But kudos to the packaging..It just attracts you more to buy it and have it...

Always been a fan of this place. Their speciality is galouti kabab and kakori kabab. These kababs are really soft and they just melt in your mouth. Team it up with warqi Parantha and Ur meal is complete. I really like their biryani and the korma also. Authentic mughlai food.
Alkauser serves one of the best biryani in west delhi.Everything was amazing from packaging to taste.The quality of chicken was also good which is rarely found in patel nagar ,karol bagh and rajinder place like ares with so many food outlets.The spices were cooked properly and quantity was also good.Would love to order again.

The best place for kakori kebabs. Your choice you want to have it in rumali roti wrapped or simple kebabs they are simply stunning and mouth melting and the place is also good for biryani too. Try it you will fall in love with their kakori and galouti kebabs.

The food is the kind that you get hooked onto and keep convincing your friends to try too! My favourites here are : 1.Galouti Kebabs - These babies just melt in your mouth the moment you taste them and they’re spicy and flavourful and just the perfect kebab outing dish you need. Combine it with a warki parantha and you are good to go! (one Warki parantha is usually enough for 4 pieces of kebabs)
2. Kakori Kebabs - Similar to galouti but on a more tangy side and seriously good business.
3. Chicken Malai Tikka - super creamy, super soft and melts into your mouth before you even realise.
Also want to mention that one time I ordered a pick up at the wrong outlet and they were extremely sweet and actually let me just purchase it from the one on my way! So thank you so much for that!
Alkauser is one of the best take away places in ORN. It's small outlet but serves great food. Non vegetarian food is it's speciality. Most noteworthy cuisine it serves; is it's Biryani. It serves the best biryani in ORN. Biryani is dum-type, served in a clay pot along with raita. 2nd most noteworthy thing, is it's starters and kebabs. They are equally awesome. Though price is on little higher side, taste is totally worth it.

I loved the chicken biryani and i can assure you that it would be more than enough for two.
I didn't like their kebes that much,though the earlier reviews suggest that they were best.
In my opinion biryani is what you should be looking forward to from this place.
If u are a biryani fan then u must try their handi biryanis. Both mutton and chicken are lip smacking delicious. When u open the handi of the biryani the aroma itself is mouth watering. The mutton pieces served in biryani were always tender and well cooked. Biryani is served with raita. Overall a must try.
Also, their Kakori Reshmi kebabs are super soft and different from the kebabs served at other places.
Their tandoori chicken is average and have had better tandoori chicken than what I got here.
Also, their dal makhani is one among the best served in Delhi in the given price range.
Overall, a go to place for a few selected items.
The best place for mutton briyani that too it was made in traditional type mud pot and cooked in that same pot itself which you will be getting to eat, even your planning for late night food worried about the tast just forget about that and go to this briyani it remain that hot for 2-4 hrs, I usually prefer this hotel for mid night hunter 😍😇
After hearing a lot about this place from my friends and relatives, I decided to give this delivery joint a try. This was not in anyway a decision that I regretted making. In fact, it turned out to be one of my good ones.
The place offers a limited number of North Indian and Mughlai dishes.
I ordered the Kakori kebabs and Galauti Kebabs. Both were brilliantly cooked and just melted in my mouth. For main course, we ordered Dal Makhni and Varqi Paranthas. The Dal was also cooked well and the paranthas were really heavy.
So, if you want to have good kebabs at decent prices, this is the place to go (or order from).
I'll be ordering again from here as I've heard good things about their rolls as well and would like to try them out sometime.

One of the many outlets in delhi and truly one that has so much legacy behind it, Al kauser serves heavenly kakori and gilawati kebabs. Absolutely tender, juicy and melt in the mouth. Recipes carried on from generations make it the go to place for meat lovers and food connoisseurs alike!
I certainly can't vouch for the number of spices added to the kebab as mentioned in the menu but they indeed tasted very very good! The place is buzzing with cars parked outside and people seen licking their fingers eating out of cardboard containers. The wait for the food was absolutely worth it!

Being a foodie and a Delhite, have explored many eating joints - but in terms of Non veg food- Al Kauser is one of the places that stands out. Please note you must visit this place for its food only- if you are looking for ambiance then this is not the place for you.
This place is open only for Dinner - 7 pm onwards - Since last year the Delhi Police is not allowing the open air seating so you end up eating in a closed room - the ambiance and the service needs improvement. Though I saw new wall paper yesterday there is a lot left that is yet to be done.
The Highlight is the food which is YUM - though I must say the quality has come down over the years- yet is the one of the v rare places in Delhi where you get melt in your mouth Kakori kebads and Galaouti Kebabs. The Mutton Tikka is also v good.
Their Biryani in earthen Handis is also good. There curries etc are also v good but the dry items are the highlight. Also the food tastes great when eaten hot then and there.Takeaway and home delivery - the food does not taste as good when it is not piping hot. Also there mutton items taste better than the chicken ones.

Wow! Talk about Lucknawi Biryani and Alkauser comes as the first name in my mind nowadays.
Served in a classy matka style, nice long thin rice, perfectly cooked, with so many green chillies and other masalas, making the rice so delicious. And then comes the chicken pieces, so many and so perfect baked, so tasty and neither raw nor over cooked.
Apart from it I ordered Varqi Parantha. It was bit costly but was very crispy and delicious. Its some sort of lacha parantha but of course was better than them.
The best mutton kakori and galoti Ive had outside Lucknow!

The place is super awesome. I've just tried the rolls and kebabs and the were really amazing. The chicken and mutton kebabs were delicious and succulent. I had last given this franchise a one star a year or so ago, since I had an unpleasant ordering experience with them which I classify as unethical. However I'm pleased to see that with time their service levels have improved dramatically! The food tastes as good as the Chanakyapuri outlet and service has been on time each time that I have ordered from them in the last few months. Very glad that I tried them again after abstaining for more than a year!
Their chicken biryani is really good. They make pot biryani which is made in earthen pots and those small pots constitute one biryani and they are send as it is to your home. One pot of biryani serves two hungry boys well. The biryani pot makes a great hotcase as it keeps the biryani hot for at least half an hour upon reaching your place and warm for another one hour. That's why for late night parties too its a great option which requires no re-heating.
The biryani is spicy and has chilly. Not recommended for people averse to spices and chillies.
Ok. Not as good as the one in RK Puram where we always go . But still biryani was good enough and for Rs. 300 you get a big "mitti Ka pot" which actually holds enough biryani for 3-4 people. There varki parantha was I felt bit dry as in powder in hand but overall average if you want all alkauser in central delhi. Not too expensive too.

This serves awesome Afghani Chicken, if you are a fan. Kakori kabab is their trademark dish which is a bit over priced but it literally melts in to your mouth. Try Kakori kebab wrapped in rumali roti to experience a true indo-persian taste. Gravy dishes and biryani are not up to the mark.

The store is divided into 2 portions . They only have take away or they deliver in cars . ( we don't encourage drinking and driving or event eating ) The kebabs are really nice and have aroma of spices . The Handi briyani is all time fav but this is a a subtle version of a briyani . They also have a good Dal and rest of veg food is not good . So avoid it if you are a vegetarian

Comparing this with the Vasant Bihar or the malcha marg outlet ? Yes you can and you won't be disappointed. Parking becomes an issue like all other outlets but it's worth it. Both Kakori and Galouti kababs are very well done and go best with the Verki paranthas that they serve....try to stick to these regular dishes
