Had Chicken Tandoori ,Galawati kawabs on my Delhi Haat visit with my bro. Yummy and awesome dishes to try at Darbaar A Awadh if you are non veg lover
Been to this restraunt at dilli haat to taste the allahbad most famous giloti kebabs.
The taste of the kebabs was good but I found quantity to be a little less.
Dilli haat has amazing food stalls that provide different and amazing flavours that a foodie must try once.
The best Awadhi Food in town !!! Their Kakori Kabab , Galawati Kabab , Biryani , awadhi paratha , Tandoori Chicken & Phirni (Sweet) are a must try ! Personally i have tried their vegetarian menu too and i feel their Kadhai paneer and Daal Makhani are amongst the best that we dont get even in some listed good restaurants here !
We had chicken biryani, chicken qorma, roomali roti and shami kabab. Food is really good and the preferred restaurant in delhi haat . Service is good and rates are reasonable. Only thing is the sitting is outside which is not so comfortable in summers.
Kebab lover must visit this place most famous Galati kebab wht a kebab jst speechless... Most famous place in dilli haat.. and also the Rumali Roti also good must try both the combination..
Great place at which I eat often with family when visiting Delhi Haat. The food tastes great and is decently priced. On the last visit we ordered Mutton Biryani, Shaami Kebabs, Galauti Kebabs, Butter Chicken, Roomali Roti, Butter Naan and fruit beer. Everything tasted great and the quantities were well.
Tried awadhi chicken ..has been one of the most memorable chicken gravy dish that I have had ..very nicely done with creamy kaju based gravy I guess and was perfectly spiced n cooked..alongwith the ulta tawa awadhi paratha it was a lovely perfect combo!!!
I'll review just the food, because there is no service to review. I had a plate of the kakori kebab with rumali roti. The kebabs are excellent and just the taste and consistency you'd find at an authentic place in Lucknow. The entire place smells delicious and amplifies your hunger two fold.
Their solitary waiter wouldn't respond to anything less than a cheerleader dance from our table. After 10 minutes of vigorous waving, the gentleman decided to serve us and casually informed us that since he'd dropped a kebab on the way, they're making more.
Nice place. OK Ok cuisine.
Clean tables. Quick order quick food.
Happy to come again. Nice place. OK Ok cuisine.

The only thing i have had and am fan of is galawati kebab. The kebab melts in your mouth. I have had galawati kebab at the most famous tundey kebabi (the authentic one in lucknow) but i became fan of awadh stall after eating these. If you are fond of kebabs, ypu gotta visit this stall once! (I'm sure you gonna come back again)
My recom: galawati kebab and parantha
When in Dilli Haat the mantra is to have one delicacy an outlet, roam and shop for sometimes, again try another outlet.
The Darbar E Awadh, as the name suggests serves Awadhi cuisine and fills your mind with imagination about food flavors in the streets of Old Lucknow. Their Kebabs, Kathi and Biryani is really wonderful. We tried the famed Gilauti kebab and Ulte Tawa ka Paratha. Though the order took more time than expected, food was worth the wait. The kebabs in texture resemble tikkas of keema and then they just melt in your mouth. You have to try to get the experience. The parathas were also delightful and together with the kebab felt made fore each other. Loved the food.
Love the Galouti with Ulte Tawe ka Parantha here - it was my first taste of Awadhi cuisine ever and I love it still. In fact if I don't indulge in this every visit, I make sure to get a takeaway packed.
The Galouti's are super soft and melt in your mouth lusciousness of meaty goodness and surrounded by that crispy crackling bread bite of doughy sweetness that is the Ulte Tawe ka parantha is no less than the proverbial cherry atop a cake.
The first time I went there I had boti kabas with parathas. Dont go by the name kabab. It is a thick gravy dish with small bite size mutton pieces and it is a wonderful dish to have with their parathas. I liked it so much that every time I was there I had to have only boti kabas and paratha and could not try any other thing on their menu, except biryani once which was ok.
after eating tandoori chicken i think this place in evolving to make better food in coming days . food was not bad and too good too. Proces are down to earth and roomali rolls are good.
Delhi Haat as we know it, is a big desi platter of culture, colour, handicrafts and most importantly. ..food! It the one place where you find yourself in an ocean of diversity. Goes without saying that one can expect a wide array of goodies from all across the country.
Darbar E Awadh brings you the best from the land of the Nawabs. The place is famous for its melt in the mouth, cooked to perfection kababs. For starters had the kakori and galauti kababs (perfectly seasoned and succulent....highly recommended !)
The mutton nahari (mutton cooked in a mildly spiced, non greasy red curry) and the Peshawari chicken (chicken in a thick gravy of whole spices) were surely out of this world ! Do complement the gravies with the soft, giant parathas (ulte tawa par) they serve here. Any awadhi meal isn't complete without a serving of biryani, so had the chicken biryani (needs no introduction... perfect blend of spices and that heavenly aroma makes your day). Heard that their variety of rolls (kathi and kabab) are worth a try.
Don't fret over the ambiance or the quality of cutlery or service. Keep calm and concentrate on the food...:)
The prices according to me, were surely debatable. A bit on the higher side, it might pinch a few wallets. But what you are served here, is definitely worth the money you spend.
I had one of the best non-veg thalis ever at Darbar-E-Awadh 2 weeks back. I have this typical aversion towards mutton and prefer not to eat it - the reason is the unpleasant smell I tend to encounter in almost every mutton dish I try to sample - right from biriyanis and kebabs to curries. But I didn't even realize when I ended up ingesting the single and succulent mutton piece that was there on the thali .. while conversing with a friend. It was so very well prepared with nil odor ! Darbar-E-Awadh is quite generous with their portions, the thali had 2 tandoori rotis, chicken biryani (was a bit on the spicier side), shammi kebab (delightfully soft and delicious! ), chicken curry (passable), mutton curry and phirni to top it off which tasted heavenly. I was more than full when I finally dragged myself off after that hearty lunch :D
One of the best places in South Delhi to have Awadhi or Mughlai food. I just loved it all..but my personal fav is galawati kebab and parantha but you cant have it without the chutney cause that's something to die for. The whole place is now renovated and gives such a good vibe with the 90s music playing in the background. Surely a MUST.
Best place to keep enjoying your tummy and wallet both.
Tasty food in good range.
Staff is very polite and mannered.
Inside look is like actual *DARBAR*
