This is located near by gaffar market. I was in karol so i dont want to miss chole bhature so visited here. They have limited option in menu. There is no seating space. Yes chole bahture is excellent and pocket friendly also.
If i like anyone else bathure after "SUPER SNACKS (LAL QUATER KRISHNA NAGAR)", then i would definitely go for "kishan bathure wala".
Whenever i go for shopping in gaffar market, i cannot resist myself to eat their bhathure ..
Just forget the ambience and focus on the taste only
This place is well know from ages for there fluffy bhature served with Chole, a piece of Aloo and spicy green chutney on the top. They also super delicious carrot pickle along with them in a pocket friendly prices. There is no sitting arrangement as this market is always packed with visitors. Must try thing if u are visiting to Delhi, nearest metro station in Karol Bagh.
Have been visiting this place since 1978! Since then the only thing that has changed is the location...everything else the same- taste, menu, owner, ambience, preparation. Love the channa bhaturas of this place... along with sitaram of Paharganj.... this place is legendary. You have to ignore the ambience and focus on the dish !!
This place located in the centre of Gaffar market is everyone's favourite spot to have the tastiest of Chole Bhature. Two small samosas comes for ₹10 which is dirt cheap and the bhature cost ₹35 only. I was quite amazed with the taste of the Choles they were Black chanas served with gazar ka achar. The samosas had a gud filling and you can feel the taste of coriander in your mouth, and believe me it just tastes amazing. The place seems a bit unhygienic and dirty and I think the owner should seriously work upon this part.
The place is located on the market in Gaffar. When I reached there it was crowded manage to pull a plate of Bhatura. First of all, they serve kale channe not chole. Normal Channa Bhatura cost rs 35. Can expect much in terms of cleanliness as the whole area is like this. Channe was spicy and bhature was crispy.
Had a plate of Chole Bhature. The taste was awesome. Have to compromise with hygiene a bit, but the taste covers up for it. It's among the must visit places for chole bhature in Delhi. It's a value for money considering its available at just 40 bucks.
It would be unfair not to count this shop among best chole bhature shop in Delhi ... Located in busy Gaffar market ... this shop is popular among shoppers .. Crowded most of time ... Chole bhature is their highest selling item ... And taste is total value of money ... Among other items Chole chawal are also popular .. In evening they serve samosas in Evening but I never tried ... They don't have sitting arrangement ...
All I can say is that this place makes Chhole Bhature which no one else can! At ₹30 a plate it is super reasonable and reminds me of that old lays tag-line 'no one can eat just one' you're bound to ask for another helping. Oh boy the Chhole Bhature and Chhole Chawal are so good and they come with a desi feel.
Perfect street food taste. They have been serving bhaturas for so long now. The taste is still the same.
It's in gaffar market which is not a great place to enjoy food. But if you are totally into your food then it will work for you.
Being honest at this place its very hard to eat coz they dont have any seating just the old stools or tables to stand and eat... But u don even get a place to keep uh plate... Have been eating the chole chawal and bhature since years everytime i visit delhi. Out of the world taste . Cheers
There is something truly special with traditional setups in delhi that refuse to give in, and thankfully so. Kishan's Chole Bhature is once such setup which's sure to blow your tastebuds. Highly recommended to anyone visiting ghaffar market with vested interests. Trust, this platter is not to be missed. Ignore the crowd, noise and crave on the so rare multiple layered bhatura and legendary chana.
Happy Eating!!
Visiting this place and having chole chawal and chole bathure has always been a treat for me. The taste to die for and always maintaining the same taste is their USP.
Love this place.
Again an above average place maintaining well, the chana bhatura legacy in New Delhi .... The shop is inside Gaffar markets busy lanes, but you need not find the place for long .. Ask anyone inside the market and they will guide you to the place ....
Taste is good ... You also have options to eat chawal chole instead of bhature chole .. Also Serves samosa In evening which is again value for money ....
The only compromise you have to make is on the hygiene part (but who's cares about this. After all we are Delhites)
Value for money - 8/10
Taste - 7/10
Hygiene - 2/10
Location - 5/10
Arrangements made for customers - 3/10
No sitting available ... bEWARe ... Don't buy water bottles from nearby shops as they all sell fake bisleri n kinley ...
Located in the heart of the busy karol bagh market, it's a well known place amongst the locals. If u crave for bhatura chana, this is a decent place to be. Taste is above average, forget about hygiene and cleanliness as everything from chane to bhatura to rice are there in the open. You can also opt for chane with rice but I haven't had that. Although the place is dirt cheap, 1 plate for just Rs.30.
Taste:6/10, Value for Money:7/10, Service:7/10, Ambience:1/10
This is one of the oldest shops in one of the most famous or rather infamous market of Delhi, Gaffar market... You enter these narrow and crowded lanes(gaffar ki galiyan) as you may have seen in films and suddenly you see a little open area, hear a lot of noise and your curiosity begins to rise... you see a lot of people eating chole bhature and chole chawal and so your hunger also rises and you order yourself a plate... you find yourself standing with the plate as there are barely a few tables and what you can only do is wait for people to finish their plate... As soon as you get any room, you try to fit in there..
Now coming to food.. The chhole is what makes this dish good or bad.. The chhole served here are good enough to be praised.. Bhatures are heavy and a single plate can kill your hunger for hours... The carrot pickle too adds to the flavour.. The chhole bhature can be complemented with a glass of lassi from a nearby shop and then your are done for the day..
The ambience is the worst part about this shop.. It is located near a public toilet.. It is stand and eat type shop.. No waiters.. Self service.. looking at the surroundings, hygiene may be a bit of problem for some of you..
The price is very reasonable..
A lot of shoppers eat here and when you see such crowd gathered at one place and eating these famous chhole bhature it becomes difficult to resist yourself eating here..

When in Karol Bagh you ought to have Kishan ke Cholley bhature.
located in the dark and dingy lanes of the famously infamous gaffar market in Karol bagh, this place is one of the many legendary wateries in and around Karol bagh. You ought to walk to this place and only then can you enjoy the garam garam chholley bhature.
My colleagues in office had literally made my life miserable prasing this shop and I often thought whats the fuss all about so I paid this place a visit.
Well actually this place was a little hard to find. At the very sight of the place honest to god confession, I wasnt sure I want to eat here. The place has a public toilet right next to it. So I got the chholley bhature packed from here and left since the foodie inside me kicked my gut and pushed me to go order myself a plate, along with some lassi.
Man, the food comes dirt cheap. He has hardly any seating space, so you ought to stand while you eat, and as I prefer, I get the stuff packed.
No ambience, self service only and a simple non flashy place. The cholla bhatura was between average and above average, and better than the famous Om corner cholley bhature another shop in Karol bagh and the lassi was ok. All in all he is some guy who has been selling for a very long time, and catering to the hungry shopoholics and shop keepers of Karol bagh and so is famous.
Legend has it that whatever food is left by the time he closes for the day, he disposes it in a gutter rather than giving it away to poor or hungry, since the owner is superstitious that if he feeds a hungry guy on any given day, he may pray to god that Kishan's shop should sell less food so that there is food left for the poor to eat. FUNNY, i think, but surely recommended to pay a visit once
Atmosphere not for the faint hearted as it's not very hygienic but okay given the market. Oil used is also quite old looking but other than these things it serves fine Chole bhature at 60 rupee
Bhature was good but the chole was not much tasty as per the hype.
They are not selling chole bhature it's blac small chane which they are serving with bhature. They give it with palak grevy. In taste it's average.
I was staying in Karol Bagh, so approach was easy. Taste was good.
Having Chole Bature during shopping is good. Atmosphere is not convinent but food refreshing.
Their chola are really different in taste, cause they prepare it with spinach. If your looking for a budget friendly and value for money meal then visit it. My personal opinion is its overhyped.
I occasionally visit gafar market and always go to this place for it's taste and value for money...
U should not think twice before visiting this place until unless you are hygiene freak who can't stand any unhygienic surrounding.
It's main unhygienic thing is it's style to serve water they should definitely improve that.
Nice and pocket friendly place to have quick snack while in Gafar Market. The place is opposite SG Store and very crowded in afternoon time and quite famous among people and very old shop. There chole bhature and chole chawal are main selling items and you can gualb jamun also as dessert.
This shop is popular among shoppers .. Crowded most of time ... Chhole bhature is their highest selling item ... And taste is total value of money ... Among other items Chole chawal are also popular .. ... They don't have sitting arrangement ...
Awesome stuff and properly managed by owners. Visit this place if you want to treat your tastebuds
