Since I have been on a spate of exploring the delivery outlets of Delhi NCR, I have experienced the preparations of a handful of them and needless to say, there are few of them which leave an everlasting impression on me. Delhi Rasoi is one such outlet which scored a 5 on 5 when it came to providing an enriching culinary experience while sitting in the comfort of your home. The order arrived well in time and here are the delicacies that I relished on:
I ordered food from this place as I was not in mood of having some home made food. They have quite a variety of dishes. As being a non-veg lover I had mutton rara, it was perfectly blended with spices. From a long time I haven't ate such good mutton. Paneer paranthas were well stuffed and nice. Chicken dum biryani was well cooked and delicious. Packing was nice and food was delivered on time. I liked this place and will look forward to order from this place again

for the first time I tried my favourite mutton seekh kebabs which were succulent and juicy. i really liked them.4/5
for mains we ordered mutton rogan josh which was perfectly done and perfectly spiced, i really liked the richness of the gravy and even the mutton pieces were tender4/5
we also tried the chicken tikka masala and it surely turned out to be the winner dish. loved relishing it with butter naan and this is one dish i am going after again.4.5/5

Delhi Rasoi is one good take away/ delivery restaurant with amazing north indian food. I ordered Mutton Seekh, Chicken Lababdaar and chicken tikka masala. The delivery was timely and the food was delicious, specially the chicken lababdaar, it had a perfect blend of north indian flavors.
The prices are also not at all high, and the food is worth the cost you pay.

The food here is tasty and fresh. The delivery I scheduled for was at 5:30pm. The management called me at 5pm and confirmed me the time. At 5:30 I called the restaurant and they said the delivery person was on his way and will take maximum 15 minutes. After 20 minutes I again called and no response. After 3 failed calls the management gave me the contact number of the delivery person. He reached at 6:15. He said he was sent from the restaurant at 5:30pm.
The food-
Dal Panchratan- A sweet and sour, tangy yellow Dal. A really light and refreshing Dal, recommended with rice.
Subz Handi- All Indian bred vegetables, mixed and medium spicy. It is a really delicious dish, a perfect balance of all vegetables and taste.
Mutton Rogan Josh- Extremely spicy and worth having it all without even making any calculations about the health quotient. It's juicy Mutton pieces were succulent but chewy. The spicy gravy was thick unlike the slow cook thin hot stew like gravy of Rogan Josh. However it was really tasty.
Garlic Naan- It was decent but because I consumed it after a long time, I found the sides to be a little dry and not well done.
Also I ordered Paneer Naan and was given Plain Butter Naan because I couldn't find the paneer inside.
Overall the Dal, Vegetable and Mutton tasted really delicious.

Delhi Rasoi is located in East of Kailash and is one of my favourite restaurants to order from. They serve amazing super delicious food and never fail to impress. So what we ordered this time was-
Rasoi da meat- This item is finger licking good. It is so good that you will want to eat your plate with it. The meat is cooked in its juices it seems and some really nice stock coz it’s not just succulent, it’s tender and flavorful.
Chicken Lababdaar-The cream was perfectly marinated with the chicken and the chicken pieces were tender in nature. It was so tasty.
Malai Kofta-The cream was perfectly marinated with kofta. The kofta were tender in nature. Kofta was so soft and delicious.
Roghan Josh-one of their speciality dish which I had heard from a few friends of mine and ordered the same. Mutton with appropriate spices was the best thing one can try here. Curry leaved added on the required punch to the dish.
Each and everything was flawless and delectable. Moreover the delivery was done quickly.
All in all, a satisfactory evening thanks to Delhi Rasoi - I strongly recommend everyone to try this restaurant - worth every penny and more!
Absolutely loved the food from Delhi Rasoi. Being a hardcore Punjabi I expected great quality and it definitely didn't disappoint me. Very authentic flavours and great packing as always !! Would highly recommend the Rara mutton, Afghani Chicken. Would definitely come over again

The cooks are very very good and the food of the veg restaurant and non veg restaurant is very good
Long story cut short, earlier it was a veg only restaurant but now they have opened up another outlet diagonally opposite to the earlier one and the new outlet serves some lip smacking non veg items.
I always look out for excuses to come to this newly opened outlet, in a very short span of time it has become my favorite place.
The food is too good, the prices are really affordable. 9 out of 10 times I go for their Chicken Curry Thali. A pocket friendly option, which consists of 2 baby naans, chicken curry, rice, salad and chutney.
I've also tried their Paneer Methi Malai, Paneer Lababdaar and Chicken Biryani.
The biryani is top notch, paneer lababdaar is good and Paneer Methi Malai is simply wow.
Chicken Methi Malai is next on my list :P
Whenever you're in this area and are in mood for some good Indian food, look no further than Delhi Rasoi.

The location lies in close proximity of my office so I end up having a lot of my meals here. Whenever you're in the area and in the mood to have delicious north indian (that does not burn a whole in your pocket) please visit delhi rasoi!
I love their Methi malai paneer, Chicken curry, Handi chicken as well as butter chicken! I have paid multiple visits to this place already (hence, the long list of items to try)
Their Chicken biryani was really nice, though I have had better. They serve it with raita and a salad.
I also love their chicken curry thali. They serve it with chicken curry, 2 baby naans, rice, raita and salad. This is worth the price and in any case they don't charge all that much. Pay ₹110 for the thali and enjoy!
You must try the place out. Value for money meals that taste fantastic are served here.

Have been to this place twice. I like this place for the variety offered. Have tried poha, bhaṭure chole, bhalle papḍi n samosa.

Delhi Rasoi which is in East Of Kailash serves from Street food to North Indian food, Chinese to South Indian food all under one roof in economical prices. I satiated my chaat goals over there, I had Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chaat, which tastes okayish, Dahi Puri Chaat and Gol gappa were quiet good in taste. Now comes to the main course, I hogged onto their Kadai Paneer which tastes yummy and flavorful. Both Chicken and Veg Biryani were delectable and delish. Biryani was perfectly cooked in right amount of spices topped with crisp fried onions. Subz Handi or Mix Veg was creamy and light on flavours. I loved their Handi Chicken, chicken pieces were quiet tender and succulent. Mutton rogan rosh was equally good in taste with rich gravy and popping flavors. The texture and richness of the gravy was literally bursting with flavors. In literal terms, both the quality and quantity of food was good enough.
The place is pretty decent and moderately priced . Good for students and office goers alike . It can be easily located with its green banner . Overall a good experience
The only reason I frequent this place is because of the close proximity to my office. Save their thalis, the food is over priced though taste is good.. the thalis are a saviour for daily customers. The paneer is quite good. So is the chole bhature. Worth a visit.

I visited Delhi Rasoi in east of Kailash on Monday night with my colleagues. Love there masala omelet ,sandwich with chess there egg noodles..
There wasn't any waiting and we could get a table pretty quickly.The service was quick ...

Decent place with good food - just a short walk from my office so I hop there on and off for the occasional bite. Their vada pav's are very very good, thali's are pretty decent too. Neat and clean sit in place with very less noise, overall a decent experience.
PS: please do not have their poha - it is not good

Nice place to have snack type things and moreover they have a varied menu to serve all type of people. I tried their bedmi poori with aloo sabzi. It was better than average. But i think one should try their chat items and gol gappa.
It's a good joint for a quick bite at a very reasonable rate. The food is nice and the ambience is fairly average but definitely worth a try if you are near this area and looking for an affordable lunch.
I had a wonderful time at delhi rasoi last night. Food was very tasty and the presentation again makes the food so tempting. Must try for people who like to try the usual food with a twist.
My recent experience with the restaurant was superb. After an exhausting day out, it was a so good to taste some well cooked food.
I should'nt compare but the taste of chhole bhtura was comparable to the best I have tasted in Haldirams yet.
It was surprising to see the cost to be at the lower end with such ambience.
I have got my hangout place fixed with my last visit to Delhi Rasoi.
This is definitely one of the best north Indian food that I have had so far in South Delhi. Amazing palak paneer and egg curry. The quantities are really good too. Just ordered one naan, and that was good enough for me. My friend ordered their special combo which had amritsari kulcha, chole, chaanch and more and it was more than enough for him. Easy on the pocket as well :)

Reasonable price for just like home cook food.. Great place for people eating outside there homes.. The hygeine is specially taken care of at this place..
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing.It was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. Service was very good and servers were kind.
The restaurant was exceptional along with the hosts and servers.

Decent place,decent food.
I went over there with some friends to have some snacks while roaming around but ended having dinner as well,the food was good and fresh,whatever we ordered was available and the service was also pretty quick.
The prices are also not high,at good prices the food is really very good. We ordered Onion Parantha,Honey Chilly Potato, Deluxe Thalis,Masala Dosa and cold drinks and the bill went to somewhere 500 Rs.
Would love to go over there again. :)
