I must say the manager was very warm in welcoming guest. I called for my table , he even remembered my name when I was there. Now coming to service the waiter was really not waiting. He was quick and helpful in choosing menu. The food we ordered are Awadi Chicken, Bharwa Tangri, Keema Naan and pineapple raita. All the food was just awesome. I i liked Awadi Chicken more, Pineapple Raita was best side with that. Now the ambiance, its a quite small place and no of tables were less, though I didn't wait for a single minute. Washroom was not clean, this is to improve further. Overall I liked the place, I would recommend for casual dinner here . #CP #NEWYEAR2017
A small and tidy place with decent service and good music. I loved the Calcutta Biriyani and the Chicken Bharwa Kebab which was absolutely lip smacking. Will recommend if you are on a standard budget and wish to have good food.

This place, located in the middle circle, near the H&M Store in Connaught Place, is a gem waiting to be discovered. Had the opportunity to dine here the other day, with the extended family, and were welcomed with a dab of Ittar (scent) on the wrists. Got to taste the most awesomely spiced Chicken Barra and Peshawari Murg in starters, followed by the delicately flavored Awadhi Chicken, robust, thick-gravy Mutton Rara, and soft and crumbly Mutton Kofta, which is a dish rarely found in other North Indian eateries, accompanied by an assortment of breads including Khameeri Roti and Kulcha.
Must say that this counts amongst one of the most delectable and satisfying meals we have had in a long, long time. Shaan-e-Awadh is a must visit gastronomic destination for all true connoisseurs of authentic Awadhi cuisine at down-to-earth prices.

My love for Chicken Biryani is perpetual. I am never jaded out from experimenting Biryani.
Straight to the story. I never knew of Shaan E Awadh until I paraphrased a search term of Murg Biryani in Zomato. A helicopter view of their Zomato page cajoled me to place an order for lunch. As they were closed for online orders, I simply called them up for a delivery.
Food arrived neatly packed in about 30 minutes, when your customer is half a kilometer away. Let’s leave it at that!
I liked it! Flavorful, that I liked to have it on its own with no gravy. Well spiced, so much I could taste the whole spices in the rice. Though I found the rice to be little dry but the dish was way better than the one I had at Biryani Blues a few weeks ago. Portion is adequate for a person, has two pieces of meat. Accompaniments with Biryani were Gravy/Hari Chutney/Onion lachcha/mouth freshener – all passable.
Pearls of Wisdom – They have an economical version of this dish (almost halve the price) albeit takeaway only! The prices shown in menu are inclusive taxes, overall I found Shaan E Awadh to be a reasonable dining restaurant in Connaught Place.

Small place in the Connaught Place, middle circle, near Panchkuiyan Road. Seating space is limited. Authentic Awadhi food. The owner told that the Khansama is from Lucknow.
We had ordered in Tandoori, Awadhi Murg which was just awesome. One of the best preparation of Tandoori. The marination was very different and the chicken was tender cooked.
The main dish we ordered was Mutton Korma, which just like the typical korma. Good thing was that the mutton was fresh and properly cooked.
The Tandoori Roti and Khamiri Roti was good. They offer onions with green chutney. The chutney seemed not so fresh and wasn't tasty.
We also ordered virgin mojito which was like sprite with mint and lemon. Maybe they should improve upon the drinks part.
The restaurant has a clean washroom. The service was very good.

Newely opened Nice awadh theme based restaurant in cp near Pvr plaza ... Not much spacious but proper feel of awadh inside out...I think their all food is yummy n authentic ...tawa paneer is not like paneer in typical tomato gravy it's a proper blend of spices n in starter awadh chicken n bharwa tangri I tried both were equally gud ...in one word everything in this restaurant is best from biryani to curry n starter to bread ...khamiri roti with sesame seed over it awesome with mutton spicy curry...best restaurant in cp with reasonable price n best thing is they dnt charge any tax on food...

We ordered bharwa tangri, Awadh special chicken and Mutton rarra.

If you really want to try their authentic food, go to middle circle of connaught place bang opposit HnM showroom........ Their chicken burrah is the best ive tried any where, followed by paneer lehsuni tikka and dal tadka....... Very reasonable price........ Strongly recommend...

The restaurant has very bright & colourful walls with beautiful lamps hanging, along with soft Ghazals played in background. The guests are welcomed by applying Ittar (fragrance) on wrist giving a warm gesture. We ordered :
👳Awadhi Murg : Tandoori Chicken, beautifully marinated with spicies giving it a delicious texture. The Chicken was perfectly grilled, bringing out the juicy flavours on each bite. Most Recommended !!
👳Fish Tikka : What do you expect from a Fish Tikka - Soft, Tender and Juicy ?? Fish Tikka here certainly meets the expectations. Both quality and quantity were brilliant. 😄
👳Chicken Handi : Soft peices of chicken served in delicious and butterly gravy, turned out to be absolutely fabulous with soft Khameeri Roti.
👳Dal Makhani : Dal Makhani got a pretty nice texture and smooth to eat, however the taste can be further improved upon.
👳Phirni : Kheer full of sweetness with dry fruits over the top, making it a perfect dish to end your meal.
Shall visit again to try out other options on the menu - Do visit with high expectations, and you'll not be disappointed.

Shaan E Awadh is highly recommended for all foodies. A cosy joint with vibrant ambience and finger licking food. The chef secret recipe dishes and the khameeri rotis are delicious. Quick and good service is the icing.

Just visited this place on a strong recommendation by a friend. Tried mushroom garlic tikka and malai chap.I must admit both were very very tasty.The ambience is very cozy and comfortable.The Phirni in dessert is a must try. The fragnance they applied on my wrist is still remembered.Wish to visit soon😊
This place is quite like a hidden gem in a barrage of restaurants and cafe's in connaught place. On entering the place the mood is set to awadhi style with soft music and a welcome ittar being rubbed on your wrist to have that authentic feel.
We ordered mutton korma and khameere roti. The service was fast and reliable.
The mutton was soft and tasty with the perfect blend of spices. Khameere roti was excellent and had its own taste so distinct that it lets you crave to have more.
Finally when the bill came it was, as i would say on a pocket friendly side.
Final verdict- highly recommended for its authentic awadhi cuisine and its pocket friendly nature. Give it a try

The moment one enters the place ,the mood is set with stained glass lanterns hanging , the fragrance of mogra and rose wafting in the air and Ghazals playing in the background .My expectations soared !
The service was nice and attentive with full Lucknowi tehzeeb but the food left a lot to be desired .We ordered on their recommendation , the Murg-E-Awadh which was above average and juicy .The Hara Bhara kebabs in the vegetarian section were quite dry and tasteless .
We took away their Chicken Biryani which was just about average too .
The Zaffran sherbet offered as a complimentary drink tasted like an artificially flavored overtly sweet drink .
All in all , visit for the experience not the food because it is average .
The place is quite affordable though .Our Bill was less than Rs 800 /- but do not expect authentic awadhi fare and you will not be disappointed .

Its a new place. Small place packed with nice food. The name is apt because this place is all about non veg. The menu is so elaborate that it took a while for me to decide what to order. The veg food is equally tasty. Very nice food indeed. The staff is equally good. Met the owner of the place and it was a pleasure talking to him.

You are welcomed with a warm gesture of applying itar. This sweet gesture in itself makes you feel refreshed and opens a portal into a different realm. The service is quiet fast. Food is remarkable. This is one place that may seem as a paradise to vegetarians as well. The dishes are as mouth watering and fancy as they seem on the menu. Great Food- tried the bharwa tangri, keema naan, handi chicken along with my all time favorite pineapple raita. The food was just perfect.
However having said that any restaurant can make good food what differentiated Shaan E Awadh is the hospitality. The personalized attention, the owners (Mr. Vinod's) willingness to ask for feedback, suggesting the perfect menu match.
The ambience is also something worth mentioning - the perfect music, wall designs, lighting, furniture just make it a very warm and comfortable place.
But the thing that would stay with me for a long time & which I haven't experienced before is the application of "attar" - essence oil ( something that relates to the cuisine) to each customer.
Overall yes I would definitely visit the place many more times to try out the other delicacies and enjoy the ambience and hospitality.
Definitely a highly suggested venue - give it a try and I believe the next great review for Shaan E Awadh would be yours.

Shan E Awadh as the name suggests serves authentic mughlai food. I was there with my family we tried both veg and non veg. Food was just amazing chicken was very tender and was very nicely cooked, biryani too was excellent, coming to veg section we tried paneer tikka and chap as snacks both of them were pretty good in main course we ordered there special awadhi paneer and daal makhni, both the items were just mind blowing gravy of paneer was simply amazing and i have not had daal makhni as good as this one for quite some time, it really was awesome. Now coming to place it was a very hygienic and nice restaurant just next to Nizams, staff to was very good, service was quick

They also have soft sufi music playing and greet u with itar infused sticks..all in all great awadhi dinein

Awadhi food ,which is popular all over present day luckhnow,district in uttar pradesh.The bawarchis let their imagination soar and produced most delightfully delicious dishes from mutton and chicken.The taste of awadhi murg both dry and gravy do justify the name of this resturant.Quite happy to visit this place.The fragnance of attar which the staff applied with a stick was indeed memorable.

Since Shane e Adwadh has opened have visited it 2-3 times already. Everytime I go to this place and try a new dish, I have myself wanting more. You will be full but you would want to eat more. Briyani, Malai Champ, Paneer Tikka and Afgani Chicken is delicious. Food is not spicy and have less oil that can be relished by every age group. Restaurant is clean and staff is courteous. It is a cozy and warm place and yes most importantly with a clean toilet 😃. This have become my regular hangout place.

Very Cute Outlet at a great location. What impresses is the cleanliness of the place and the smiling staff! Started my visit with Mojito - super refreshing for a sunny day! Tried the Paneer Tikka - absolute delight. Moved on to lehsuni Murg - it was a great teaser for the taste buds - extremely flavoursome and well done! I also tried the Awadhi Chicken - must say, it was the tastiest form of chicken I've ever eaten - would recommend to everyone! Ended my eating experience with Firni - perfectly balanced in terms of its sweetness! Didnt get a chance to try anything else since my pallet was totally satisfied. All in all, a completely food-for-soul experience! Can't wait to return!
