They do have a small shop in west delhi jail road janakpuri .They do serve amazing fish and famous for their fish items being served .

A small outlet, specialising in Tandoor items...Their Tandoori chicken is definitely one of the best in Delhi. Its well done, juice and full of masalas which makes it an awesome treat... Fried Fish is in demand as well and its upto the mark as well as long as you are ok with the fried and oily stuff and its serves only in winters...
Note : Parking is hassle, you need binoculars to search the store as its Manjeet chicken everywhere and its located next to their huge stores..No sitting however the standing tables are available and if you could accomodate that in order to get an awesome Tandoori chicken, then you are at the right destination..Cheers

We went to this place and ordered tandoori chicken and we got only one tandoori chicken as that was the last one they had & it was a Friday and 8.30 PM.
So that is the demand for tandoori chicken at this place that it get over before time so rush asap.

One cute little shop situated in middle of jail road has always been my on destination for awesome tandoori items.
I have had Tried many outlets in west Delhi but still have been coming back here. Tough it had its ups and downs but still my favorite place for tandoori chicken as one of the juiciest chicken you can find in west Delhi. But their gravy items are equally as bad i had once i don't know when but it was not fit to be eaten.

I have been there many times and love their tandoori chicken and seekh kabab rolls. Their chicken is juicy and well cooked with the right amount of spices and oil. I would recommend their tandoori offerings to all - seekh kababs, tandoori chicken, tikka, malai tikka, changezi tikka, fish tikka.
They only have non-veg options and are also famous for their fried chicken and fish dishes which I havent tried.

They basically moved from pulbangash (near azad market) to jail road a long time ago. So they named them as pulbangash wale.
While they are serving from a small shop but one can se aa large amnt of people standing out there.
So thr is no issue of popularity, their food speaks for them.

A small outlet basically a take away and delivery option. It has 3 to 4 tables where you can stand and eat. Its located in the vicinity where you will find names like Kohli chicken and Manjeet Chicken but you can surely spot this outlet.
Talking about the food.. we ordered the Fish fry and tandoori chicken which is their speciality and yes as per expectation both the dishes are really tasty and are not to be missed when you visit or order food from here.
The fish fry is really juicy crunchy and soft, yes all the three textures in one dish. Everything is perfect about this dish and is exactly how it should be and the same goes for tandoori chicken as well. Properly roasted with the flavourful masala coating, the chicken is juicy and tender from inside.

Their Chicken Tikka has the perfect Blend of Spices. The only thing I would complain is about The size of Chicken pieces. They chicken pieces were really small.

Regular customer from 10+ years. One of the best shop for roasted and fried chicken snacks. When it comes to ROASTED CHICKEN, Pul Bangash is my first preference. Their mint chatni is yummy to. They also have gravey items in the menu but little inconsistent with taste and masala/spices.

If you like North Western tandoori items, you might already know that the chutney plays a very important role in the taste of the overall dish. Tandoori chicken or tandoori fish is incomplete without the green chutney along with it. Consequently, it becomes a very important thing for any food outlet to not only get the dish right but also get the chutney right. This place has it all. However, if you cannot tolerate chilly, their chutney is not meant for you because it is really spicy. I tried their Tandoori fish and loved it. Optimally cooked with mild marination and amazing chutney. Quality wise, it is at par with Paramjeet's Fish (Moti Nagar) and cheaper than that too. I have tried their tandoori chicken and chicken malai tikka as well in the past and that is good as well. But fish was truly amazing. Will try their fried fish next time. Seating is not available and either you stand or eat in the car.

So here's a small place in a market that is full of food joints or as I like to say it The Manjeet Street. It's a part of the old times famous Pulbangash wale of Paharganj.
About the place & ambience: The ambience is cenrtainly not the USP of the place with all the stray dogs roaming aroung near the scattered garbage.
Food: With the winters kicking in and recommendations of the friends, we ordered the fried fish n tandoori chicken. The fish was not disappointing at all. The pieces were crisp with the right amount of spices. The green dip with onions complimented the crisp tastesome chunks.
Tandoori chicken, though, failed to make a mark on my taste buds. :(
Since being a big Tandoori chicken hunter, the first bite of chicken was enough to tell me that the chicken was STALE. It had a weird smell that was hard to bear. The chicken was also not crisp and had a bit too much spices (may be to overshadow the staleness of the chicken).
Price n service: The menu is priced at par with other joints in the vicinity and will not put a big hole in your pockets. Service is certainly a drop for the outlet, since it's the owner himself who's cooking the food and also managing the home deliveries.
Final word: Go only if you are looking for some good fried fish while sacrificing the ambience n service.

They are the original pulbangash machchi wale of old Delhi fame and my dad (Theley Wala) who himself is a great foodie and a cook introduced me to their fish. And it was simply mind blowing and the taste according to him is still the same as they used to have earlier.

Probably the tiniest establishment in this market half occupied by the giant of only fame MANJEET CHICKEN CORNER the place still manages to gather quite a crowd.
So I along with a friend went there and ordered half tandoori chicken and a couple of roomali rotis to round the figure off to ₹150 as suggested by the owner.
The tandoori chicken tasted really nice with just the perfect flavours and marination and cooked rather roasted to perfection in the clay oven.
Roomali was soft and hot, what else do you need.

After reading some good reviews on Zomato, I decided to give this joint a try. Its a take away place with almost no place to sit or stand and eat. You can eat in your car though. I took home Tandoori Chicken and it tasted really good. The only problem I had was that the chicken was over-smoked at some places which was giving it a burnt taste. But other than that, quality was good and the service was quick as well. Will go again to try some fish.

Ok, now just landed in Janakpuri, New Delhi from Chandigarh and was craving for some serious non-veg that went well with whiskey. Tried a few options nearby however this is what has satisfied the taste buds. The Tandoori Chicken was nice and felt soft in mouth with nice spicy marinade. Don't need a chutney with it.
One thing that I understood now is to order just the speciality of the house as ordered Chilly Chicken and it was a conversion of some authentic Chicken Tikka into the Indo-Chinese dish. Couldn't taste either. If I run restaurant I will not serve anything I don't specialize in, as it might increase my detractors.

Their Tandoori Chicken is famous and rightly looked so when I was doing my part of watching things, but I ordered Mutton Seekh Kebab - soft and juicy and tasted awesome, then I had Malai Tikka, again soft, though cream was added after the tikka was done and I prefer it being added in marination as it gives more softness and juice when the tikka is being cooked, still it was fine. Also tried Egg Pakoda which was nice.
The highlight has to be the Butter Chicken, simply awesome and perfect, not a bit extra spicy and not a bit extra sweet, amazing.

Pulbangash wale is the branch of the actual guy serving chicken n fish at pul bangash....
So with just one humble kadhai and tandoor, and may be chulha or two...this guy is running this place from a whole in the wall kind of space at this DDA market known to be a foodies paradise.
lovely chicken pakoras we enjoyed there....chicken pakoras though were fried with the bone marinated in an amritsari marination (the kind you associate with amritsari machi) were plain simply brilliant.... a perfect accopaniment to people enjoying their evening car-o-bar , we though were sober and enjoyin the food.
we also had chicken lolipop which were essentially the same oakoras with more marination and less chicken , hence were just average, we also tried the tandorri chicken and it was brilliant, very different from the usual orangish tandoori chicken this one was light yellow in colour with marination give the taste right upto the bone. lovely.
this is a VFM outlet with experience and expertise of preparing just a handful of dhishes for about 5 decades....so yeah its a safe bet....must enjoy!!

I tried the Afghani chicken from this place which is located very near to Manjeet restaurant on Jail road. It's a small shop with the outside standing area. The Afghani chicken was delicious and very well cooked. I loved the taste and quality of the chicken.
hahahah.... reviewing pul banglash is like reviewing 3Idiots or DDLJ or TITANIC ETC. im purely a non vegetarian and trust me i never had such a wonderful tandoori chicken in my whole life till date. best is tandoori leg and malai chicken tikka. its like No one can have just one....pls try it once and u would start hatting all other outlets.
This is an excellent place to have Non-Veg Tandoori Items.
It serves Chicken and Fish Items. The Chicken Tikka, and Tandoori Chicken you taste is juicy and correctly spiced right to the core. The chicken in Tikka is so tender that you can penetrate the layers with your tongue. Another thing to give a try is the Chicken Changezi. It is the small chicken chunks Deep fried and it can give tough competition to a tasty Fish Fry.
You can try any item available and I bet, you won't regret ordering. And the best part is it doesn't burns hole in your pocket. Quantity served is also sufficient. Stomach full of 2-3 snacks can cost Maximum up to Rs. 600/- only for 2 people.
The only drawback is it doesn't provides a place to sit. The ambience is not so appealing but the excellent food with attractive prices compensates the same.
No one can make a better roasted then this family. The best. You will smell the freshness. No masalas just the best roasted. You can have 3-4 plates and won't feel heavy only age old recipes of masalas and ✌. No foody can miss this joint. One of its kind
It is one of the goto place for chicken lovers at jail road. It is a small shop with no seatings but 4-5 standin tables. They are very reasonably priced and worth a visit.
I have been there many times and love their tandoori chicken and seekh kabab rolls. Their chicken is juicy and well cooked with the right amount of spices and oil. I would recommend their tandoori offerings to all - seekh kababs, tandoori chicken, tikka, malai tikka, changezi tikka, fish tikka.
They only have non-veg options and are also famous for their fried chicken and fish dishes which I havent tried.
It’s a small restaurant in jail road. After hard to find parking battle, we were happy to enjoy tandoori chicken. It was aptly roasted with perfect spices. The chicken was juicy and overall it was a thumbs up dish. We also tried tandoori fish pakora here. It is good but personally I like fish pakora of Paramjeet machii walla more than this one. Other than this, we even ate chicken seekh kabab and Afghani chicken tikka. Both tasted well. So overall I would give four stars to pul bangash wale.
Good quality and quantity, very tasty chicken snacks(no idea about fish items), service is a bit slow but worth every second. Prices increased but still reasonable.
Recommended.
One of the best place for non-vegetarians. Very small place but the BEST Von-veg food. Quality is simply awesome.
