So in this time of coronavirus I went to this restaurant to get some breathe of fresh air and to be honest my experience was amazing. I ordered gol gappe and sweets like Gulab jamun and shahi tukda. The quality of all items was top notch and the presentation was amazing too. Overall my experience was amazing.

I ordered golgappe, bharma golgappe and aloo samosa. The samosa was properly cooked and a thin pocket of maida so it was really crisp and tasted really good.
The bharma golgappe were also good with a wonderful taste of chutneys and it was amazingly flavourful.
A very nice sweet shop located right in the middle of shalimar bagh. Has all the sweets n chaats on the menu...try their golgappas, dashi bhallas, dhokla, samosa...superb taste and so hygienically made. You will love their bean laddoos too if you are fond of laddoos. It is the best go to place for any kind of Indian sweet or chaat craving.

Love going to this place since childhood! I like almost everything that they serve & their new South Indian addition to the menu is the best thing they can ever do by bringing such amazing South Indian in Shalimar Bagh area.
Apart from South Indian they have really lipsmacking stick kulfi & jalebi.
This outlet is famous for tasty and yummy desserts and sweets..
but their south indian food is what i really cherished this time!

Ahhan, well Bikaner Kesarvala is good at all, you must try, they are not so expensive with good taste, service is also good, the good and delicious sweets are here!!
everyone is aware about the food , qualtiy and reputation of bikaner ,there food is delecious and there sweets are just awesome the bikaner kesavala in Shalimar bagh is a great place to enjoy snacks they serve pani Puri, aloo tikki and now in the backside they also serve south India food which is average but everything else is good . there jalebees is a must try for everyone , I recently had the panner jalebi which was very good I highly recommend that to everyone.
The best place for sweets. Everything is freshly made and is delicious. Their new extension of masala dosa and bedmi puri is the latest attraction. Where in the masala dosa is okay, bedmi puri is the perfect brunch solution. They serve two side dishes, one is with alloo and chole and the other one is that of pumpkin or sitafal. I personally loved the latter more. The carrot and onion seeds pickle just completed the mood.
Along with this they serve jalebis, imratis, dhokhla, khandvi,golgappe, chaat.
The perfect escape place for the ones who cannot get enough of Indianness.
I have always been told that when in delhi you must try their Chaat and paranthas.You had me at the awesome gol gappe. I am a true blue mumbaikar and think chowpatty is the go to place for Chaat but Bikaner has made it high on my list. Until next time.

The place has evolved with time a lot. The location, setup, food quality all have improved with time.
This is my favorite place to have fresh Dhokla and Kacha Gola (sweet white ladoo), which is very delicate and the best part is that it's not very sweet. All their Bengali mithai is quiet fresh and flavor full. Even the golgappas are best in Shalimar Bagh.
Their Dhokla and Kacha Gola are highly recommended.
What a fresh piece of sweet this is ... never tasted more delicious sweet than this (shahi tukda) i would recommend to try it once .. but be cautious its full of calories :p but in the matter of taste brilliant

Bikaner kesarwala is a nice sweet shop located at shalimar bagh in delhi. The restaurant has wide range of sweets. It's ambience is nice.
we always prefers sweets only from the bikaner kesarwala. It has good quality sweets with right amount of sweetness. I tried it's Ghevar, Jalebi, Rasmalai, Gulabjamun, Rosgulla, Malpuva and Kaju ki katali and many other sweets. I likes it's Kaju ki katli and Gulabjamun both are my favourite and has authentic taste. It's price is also reasonable. It offers many fruit juices, namkins and lot of varieties of snacks. I tried it's samosa, mirchi vada, onion kachori and namkin ghatiya. It has a great food quality and it is hygienic also. It provides street food also, I tried it's pani puri and aloo tikki that was awesome in taste. It's customer service is quick and good. Overall nice restaurant at reasonable prices.
The shop is nice you can go and have lots of sweet there the stuff is good there as it is near you can try that but the gol gappe wala with bikanerwala is also good you can have gol gappa from there also. I like that gol gappas as i caneat gol gappa with hari chutney also.

Veg sandwich had hard edges which was replaced by bikaner staff gently.
Average place but that rasmalai was fantastic .. just in Rs. 60 for one plate rasmalai (2 pieces) .. staff not so good .. you have to pay first and then wait for the waiter to get your food .
Bikaner kesarvala is a very old sweet store located at Shalimar bagh crossing, going towards Shalimar club.
I remember my dad stopping car on the way to buy different kinds of sweets from this place for relatives on festivals.
It has grown over the years in variety with more and more sweets being added. Lot of juices, namkeens, dhokla, samose and other snacks are readily available.
All in all, a tried and tested place to buy sweets and related stuff. Excellent location.
Recently we purchased packed son paapdi. Top quality stuff.

Jalebi and rasmalai are my favourites amoung all of the sweet dish served here.
Though gol gappe and tikki are awesome too.

Been to this shop two or three times, and I can safely say they never disappointed me. I am bit particular about cleanliness at all such places and I find them really good in this area.
Talking about preparations I got few items packed for family functions. Packing was good. Preparations were good. I in particular remember taste of their Gulab Jamuns and that was far better than most outlets in the area. Once or twice had Rasgullas and Raj bhog packed. They also were equally good.For rest I cant say as I never tried the other things.

No one really knows how many Bikaner sweet shops are there and who is the original! This is not a problem that most of us face in India but I saw something similar in Singapore last week when I saw two Bikaner sweet shops nearby claiming to be the original one. Bikanerwala is the most famous one an that is a fact. However, I quite liked the sweets prepared at Bikaner kesarwala. The shop is very basic and is not fully covered which most of the sweet shops for some reason are not.
Particular recommendations in sweets here are the kade huey(thickened milk etc until solidification) khoye ki barfi, coconut barfi, & chocolate barfi(available in winters only). I have made many friends & relatives of mine try the khoye ki barfi and its such a huge hit that we get a box from here almost every week. The taste is delicious, not too sweet & is topped with pista. Coconut barfi is good as well & the choco barfi is amazing(thick texture) but seasonal. They do have lot of other varieties as well & kaju barfi, sandesh etc are average so these are the specialities for me. Gol gappas can be tried but I found it average.
Do give Kesarwala bikaner a try sometime.
Sweets are fresh and good in taste. Try their Gajar Ka halwa in winters, which is quite good in taste. Also, can have samosa and golgappe for a quick grab.
Everything in Bikaner Kesarwala is hygienic tasty and well prepared. We are visiting this shop since 10 15 years and never disappointed by their taste.
