The food is amazing. One can try a lot of variety of mughlai and tandoori delicacies. Biryani is something to die for. This place is a must visit if you're anywhere around the Nizamuddin.

Nizamuddin street food at it's best.

The name is not so famous but will be famous soon because of its taste and recipe i can travel any day to this point to have the best nonveg
We arrived at the place late at night during Ramzaan as it was the only restaurant open 24/7 . The chicken stew was really soft accompanied with well made Tandoori Rotis but the Mutton Shami kebab was a disappointment with oodles of Ghee. Recommended as an alternative to Karim's.
Went to dis eatery after offering prayers at Nizamuddin Dargah Sharif...d place was ok in d hustle bustle area...d best dish i liked was d Chicken Barra and Mutton stew with Rumali Roti... must try folks!!
Flavours without a fuss and a lot of butter!
so yeah, there plenty to love about the scintillating Mughali affair being whipped up at Iqbal's.
Great quality produce made in abundance of butter and masalas which deliver an excellent meal on the plate and your cravings are so sorted.
Chicken Tikka, Mutton seekh and Chicken seekh are among my favourites. The meat is melt in the mouth tender and so well spiced, its a full fledged feast!
look beyond the chances of having a cardiac arrest thanks to the floating river of glistening fat because the grub is so worth it!
reasonable and big on taste!
Happened to visit this place just for Phirni, went by reviews. I wasn't disappointed at all.
With nuts and varq, this is the best traditional deseert to end your dessert cravings at Nizamuddin post checking out kababs and biryanis.
Cost : Rs 20/- 🤑🤗🤑🤗
Must visit, please note that this place is famous by the name of Nasir Iqbal . Cheers!!
Great food. Try mutton korma with mutton biriyani. This combination is made in heaven. Mutton was cooked to perfection, unlike other restaurants which cook the mutton too much.

Nasir Iqbal Biryani is a modest outlet that is accepted to serve the best Mutton Biryani in town. You can’t miss this place, it is known for their spicy Moradabadi Biryani, served with spicy green chutney and raw onions. Nasir Iqbal’s Biryani is cooked with large portions of meat and flavourful aromatic rice, that gives it a wonderful aroma which can’t be ignored.
Remember, if you’re fond of classy ambience then this isn’t a place for you. This place should only be visited for good food. Do try their sweets in the end. Their sweets are truly mouth-watering, drooling stuff.
The place is affordable too.
N iqbal situated at nizamudin Delhi is a must visit place we tried kadhai chicken and afghani kebab which were awesome it was a very cheap restaurant but doesn't matter foood was really amazing and delicious must visit place
Ghalib ki galiyon ka Shahi Tukda aur Rabdi to shaandaar tha :)
We visited this place for their famous Phirnee but that was over by 8:30 pm itself.
Tried this unbelievably smooth textured Shahi Tukda, all I could say is Lajawaab.
With the first bite itself you feel the flavour of slowly cooked milk, ghee n loaded with dry fruits .
Aur unki Rabdi ne to aatma tript krdi thi. Superb Rabdi.
The Chachajaan who serving this was very courteous n dilkhush person . :)
I love this place. Kadhai chicken is so tasty. Biryani was just lazeez :P non vegetarian's paradise. If you're fond of good ambience and classy atmosphere then this isn't a place for you but if you're fond of good food and can ignore the rest then this place is a MUST VISIT. Do try their sweets in the end. Gulab Jamun especially. *drooling*
Its truly said that you need to work hard to get something nice, not everyone finds this “hidden” place but once you go there I can guarantee you that it’ll be worth all the efforts. The food is seriously delicious. Tandoori chicken, mutton qorma and stew is a must try. The tandoori roti is also different and good. One of the must have things is a Biryani, it’s the best biryani I’ve had in Delhi, simply fab..!! Don’t expect a good ambience, but if you want delicious non-veg food then this is a must visit place.
Legitimate price. Nice food. Quick serving time. Not for someone who is used to lavish ambience. Fulfilled our wish as when it comes to good food, ambience doesn't matter much to me. Me and my roommate visited this place as he had sudden munchies for a biryani. Located in the busy crowded street full of restaurants, roadside mughlai food vendors, muslim cap sellers etc, we ordered one chicken biryani (full) for both of us because we weren't so sure about the taste, being our first visit. It arrived within 5 minutes. and it vanished in almost the same time. So, we had to order another one. Very much satisfied. Will visit again soon and try more dishes :)
Pocket friendly. Food tastes great. Tried chicken biryani. Must say chicken was juicy n so soft that it almost melts in mouth. A must visit if you want to taste authentic mughlai food.
If you want delicious authentic Mughlai food and good value for money this is the place to be. There chicken oozes freshness and there breads are soft and will melt in your mouth. Delicious mughlai delicacies at very cheap prices. One of my favourites
Stands out to its name. Online reviews from foodie bloggers made expectations go sky high and I should admit I was not disappointed. Chicken Biryani and Tandoori Chicken is a must try. The only demerit remains its location but then the real taste here in Delhi are found in hidden places like these.
Sitauted in the hush hush market place with ever so crowded street leading to Hazrat nizzamuddin, I happened to eat at this place which serves A-rated authentic mutton biryani and mutton qorma. Chicken dishes are average but mutton preparations like mentioned above and mutton seekh kebabs are fresh juicy and melt in the mouth.
The typical naan and rumali roti are soft and served hot.
Service is fast and excellent.
Ambience is typical muhhamedean and food is just amazing with the style and place.
This place is best enjoyed with a gang if friends accompanying you along.
Been here twice. Yummy biryani (but not the yummiest) , that goes well with Mutton Rogan Josh.
Ambience isn't so great, but overall worth a visit.
A quaint place reminding you of the old delhi!!
Bang opposite, the dargah its really has wonderful mini feast aligned!!
The mutton nihari, was very succulent so also the chicken Qorma!! The sweet roti Def added to the flavor.
Finishing the meal, with firni was a over the top feeling
Keeps a decent mix of service + hygiene, which otherwise is quite difficult to find in such outlets
Have visited infact twice now & the test is as impeccable & constant as ever!
Been visiting this restaurant for lunch & dinner on every trip to Delhi, this place has awesome kebabs, tandoori chicken, qorma and mutton biriyani with complimentary salad. Feerni & Kheer makes for the dessert, the food completely satisfies your rich palate. Good waiters on-board. Adjacent to Dargah, can be easily spotted by entering from the main road.
This small restaurant is located just opposite the Nizammudin dargah. The place may initially look little clumsy but they try maintaining their hygiene to a certain level. Obviously this is not as posh as the next door karims. But trust me, the food here is mouth watering and pretty yummm. A decent well maintained (newly painted) restaurant which serves delicious mouth watering mughlai non veg and few vegetarian items. The preparation is a worth trying for.
The cost is nominal. A half plate mutton item (2 pieces ) cost around 90 while a half plate chicken (2 pieces) will cost something similar.
Overall one of the economical eating joint (not too much of fancy though ) which serves amazing food in this budget.
though not as posh as Karim's or not as famous, Iqbal's offers good qorma and stew for a very reasonable price. their kebab preparations are not always consistent, but is there any place with better consistency than home.
Don't leave the place without trying out the feerni and kheer. I always have both :D
One of my friends on our last visit to the place said after looking at the bill...soemthing is wrong. that can't be our bill. we ate sooooo much... :)
Place serves delicious food, tried Kadai chicken and Biriyani. Even the kheer was tasty.
This is Restaurant food is amazing I truely enjoy it
Service is best
There mutton barra , biryani , qorma anything u try is the bestever
Food was nice but they should work on more customer service. We ordered biryani which was good and we love it. Prices are but expensive.
The food taste is very nice and very good service.
Best hotel best service good delivery chicken biryani recipe
The food is good...but service and atmosphere is average....😑
Awesome cuisine, taste like 😋, recommended
I liked the place. The service was also good. The price n portion. Of the food is literally good. I just didn't like the taste of the chicken in the biriyani 😅.
It was nice to eat here. I just love their chicken Tandoori
This is without doubt best eatery in hazart nizzamudin area. They have one of the best chicken korma in Delhi and all the food are freshly cooked.
Best place to have an uthentic delhi food , Must try their tandoori chicken & Nihari 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Best place to eat non veg dishes in nizamuddin area. They provide good quantity of food compared to many other places
Loved the Chicken Biriyani. Has a strong Moradabadi accent to it. Was moderately spicy and approappropriately tangy. The ambience can improve a great deal ! :)
Food was awesome, however service was poor. Few waiters to attend. May be, due to Ramzan. Mutton korma was awesome. Mutton seekh Kabab was very good.
