They make awesome Nangori and Halwa (desi gher) along with Aloo n chana.....halwa is something Not to miss... It's even better than hundreds of known eateries of Old delhi

There's no sweet that I haven't tasted. This is the place which has amazing and fabulous sweets and I can bet that they are better than Haldiram coz I have tasted nearly everything both places. Kaju barfi, pista lauj (only on special order), Malai Ghewar, Tuesday boondi and chhena murki are just awesome!!!!!!!!!!
If you want a delicious samosa then try it. The stuffing is delicious and samosas are fried perfectly , evenly and to the middle. The sabji of the kachori is also amazing. They serve two types of kachoris small and regular size, both are equally good but the pithi inside the small ones are more prominent.
The reason for a good review for excellent food is staff. The main attendant is shrewd , arrogant and pissed off person. Doesn't care about service which I have encountered first time in Chandni Chowk. The owner is also not worried just busy in counting money and doesn't gives a shit.
Its a shop you can not miss, right at the corner, may not seem inviting but servers beautifully made food.

I had some snacks there and first i tell u about the place. It is comparable small from other shops in CC area. Seating for max 8 people is there. We orders kachori and samosa with sabji.
The taste is avg but if u ask for methi ki chutney it will great.
The spices is on higher side so if u are not ok with please avoid. Other wise u can check out.

This place is one of the lesser known sweet shops of old delhi.
Have been consuming sweets and other desi snacks like kachori , samosas from past few years now.
Even tonite my dinner comprised of the same and then only the thought of reviewing crossed mind.
Me and my buddies decided to go on a food walk in the narrow by lanes from Sadar bazar upto fatehpuri masjid, in the entire walk we came around many places and tried lots of different things Including the badal milk bottles from Ram Prashad Makhan lal. They serve Fantastic milk, loved it
Desi ghee bedmi with Aalu sabji and Chole are mouth watering stuff.
Maal Puda is for your sweet tooth.
Excellent place to start your day with a heavy Brunch.

This sweet shop is located in khari baoli, Chandni chowk. I have just tried their malpura which were just fantastic. They were melt in your mouth stuff. It costed me Rs 30/- for 2 pieces. This place also serves samosa 's, kachori' s and other sweets. It's one of the better sweet shops in old Delhi

You must try their moong daal halwaa. It is heavenly, it is perfect. Not for the weak hearted though as the ghee is too much, but it is delicious. Go there on a sunday morning to enjoy bedmi aaloo and moong daal halwaa, you will feel like saying (ignoring the area) this is life!

All sweets and food item prepared in pure desi ghee. Serves authentic old Delhi food, their speciality of bedmi poori and nagoris with halwa and aallo chole ki sabji along with some achaar. Good quality and taste. Place is too crowded as all market is full of wholesale dealers of species and dryfriuts and kirana merchants. Be prepared of lot of loudness and crowd but this is actual purani dilli.
Not only just their flavour food even their service and staff is so humble and good.
Must try their speciality, bedmi puri and nagori halwa, it is worth your exploration in purani dilli.
I visited this place on Wed 11-May-22 at around 10AM. The owner and staff were helpful. I sat at the corner table. There are only two tables for eat-in, at one time eight to twelve persons can eat-in. I had poori plate, and matar samosa and aalu samosa. All items were good. My main consideration was no onion and no garlic, and so was it for the shop owner as well. He said, hum na khate hain na hi khilate hain. Just great, I thought. For its purpose, I could not find any issues with the place. Cleanliness is good, staff is good, food is good, there even was a tall pedestal fan with water spray to cool the sitting area. Must visit place! Only suggestion is that instead of plastic spoons, provide metal spoons.
Very old shop since 1940 in naya bans, khari baoli is an eatery specialising in poori kachori and lots of delicious authentic sweets.

Located in khari baoli market of Chandni chowk. This gem serves the best Nagori Halwa and bedmi puri. They prepare food in desi ghee. I live in Chandni chowk only and there are so many places to eat breakfast but this is one of my personal favourite. Allo ki sabzi with chole and methi chutni is heaven.
bedmi puri quality is very fine. i tried their bedmi puri, kachodi, samosa overall one of the best place in Old delhi to have the food
