Quality of food is good I will give a 👍.
Taste of food is delicious, tasty having the exactly same taste of South Indian food . Dosa is superb as well as coconut chutney is also good .But the ambience is old...Hyginity is absent.
Oldest and the most famous South Indian food shop in madhu vihar. They have opened two small shops side by side. The person making dosa is an expert. The onion masala dosa from this place is delicious. Every type of dosa they serve are good. They even serve noodles which are surprisingly delicious. Do give this place a try if you're nearby and you won't be disappointed.
This is a pretty good place for South Indian food. Also the prices are quite affordable. And the taste and quantity of the food is totally worth it.
Serves amazing masala dosa and vegetable uttapam in just rupees 70 and 100 irrespective no doubt the taste undoubtedly amazing and their serves chutney and sambar as many time you want.
Value for money. Worth Place for lower middle class. Ambiance so so. Quality of South Indian food is good as compared to Chinese food. Parking remains the main problem
This place is best for south Indian food. I have been there many times they will never disappoint you. They have huge range of dosas and they serve crunchy wadas.
Very economical, and prompt services. Their food portions are very sumptuous. Anna who makes the South Indian food is very sweet. Sambar from this place is to die for.
The Food is delicious and freshly prepared in front of you. The Sambar is piping hot and you'd love the flavours of the spices and condiments they add to it.
I live in bangalore now since last five years i have tasted dosas but I bet very few shops even in South can make such South Indian food as here.. Well mannered.. Well behaved staff and very well service with authentic taste of the South...
Taste of all varieties of South Indian food is pretty great
But the service performed by the outlet ain't that good
Recently, Had a chance to try out rava dosa and utappam
And idli from Madras cafe
Taste was pretty good but can't say the same for the service provided therof.

Not such a classy place to visit and not that huge but dammm their food is amazing. Be it the noodles or the south indian. Both are damm yummy. Their chowmein is my favvvv. They prepare everything in front of you. And you can accordingly tell them to make it spicy or not. Sambhar and idli are so tasty. But the chowmein is highly recommend.
Best in class for their amazing food and quality stuff their south indian food is too good and you will not regret buying the food its worth it
Wanna have flavourful south Indian food?
Wanna have it light on your pocket?
Then go to Madras Cafe.
This is by far the best south Indian serving shop in Patparganj area. Just go and have a quick bite at affordable prices. No fancy decor or anything just a small shop. Also serves different types of noodles.
Must try- Rawa Masala Dosa
One place I think when I am super hungry..they have such a quick service..with good food..
I love the dosa vada and chowmin here..
It serves fresh food that is the best thing..
4/5 good around the corner south indian food. They are open and ready to serve as early as 10.Additional to the warm idly’s and crispy dosas they also offer different varieties of Chowmein. They are the typical south indian joints in the neighbourhood where you run when you dont know what to eat
Really good taste, if you want to enjoy a real south indian taste this place is a must go place. I really like the place, their Sambhar is great, also dosas, idli n vada are good. Best thing is they just focus on taste not anything else. Really a good place for south indian dishes
They serve the best chowmein and dosas. There is no sitting place as such but hot watery food. Specialties are in south indian but the different chowmein flavours are a must.
Very tasty and reasonable price... Must visit for authentic south Indian food.. Best is that food is ready and available @10:00 am. I visited Max hospital which is nearby and this place was my saviour for breakfast.
Who doesn't like a warm dosa and sambhar with chutney. I have been eating here ever since they have started and I can proudly say that their quality hasn't fallen and their food quality and taste has remained the same since years.
Have had almost all items on the menu...but a special mention goes to the big and delicious rice idlis, and the crispy rava masala dosa which is also my personal favourite and is something unique and different from the rava dosas served elsewhere.
So, do try the crispy and crunchy rava dosa😋
it is my favourite place to have South Indian food. Ever since this shop has opened I have been their regular customer. Every alternate day I am at this place to have masala dosa.
I guess the picture says it all! They serve amazing dosas! The ambience is okay but the food is great. Must try their Butter Milk and their Onion Rawa Dosa.
I loved their preparation...

Madras cafe has been my favourite south indian food shop ever since it opened. They serve some amazing south indian food. They have a decent variety of dosas and uthapams. My favourite being masala dosa and mix uthapam. Their idli sambhar, plain dosa butter rawa masala dosa and sambhar vada are good too.
Its a pretty small place. BUT serves the best South Indian. Order anything you like, and you won't be disappointed. Absolutely love it. It's one of my favorites.
The ratings on zomato for the place are less and i feel it is not really doing justice to the food they serve there!
I have been going there with my family since my childhood days! And they serve south indian food staff is really trained!
Yes there menu is quite limited !
They just serve 15-20 things! Their bests are rawa dosa and masala dosa. texture of idli is very soft and perfect blend of all the spices in sambar
But they are packed in the evening there's literally alot of waiting sometimes 🙈
The working team here is of south indian people only.
I can say that their quality has always improved
And this is one of my favourite place when it comes to hogging on south indian food ❤️😍
You can surely try them out
When craving for south indian food
At dirt cheap prices
You can also have anything to drink with your food.
They have soft drinks as well
I am amazed to see the quantity and hygiene they have maintained over all these years
Great work !

This place is amazing. They serve freshly made dosas, idlis, chowmein, vada, uttpam etc. and everything is made in front of your eyes so you know what you are eating ☺ i am a regular customer of this place
If one can overcome logistics issues , the food is unpretentious and simple and cheap on the pocket !
They have a relatively small selection of menu but almost everything tastes nice . The dosas , masala version and rawa onion are amazing. The idlis , soft and fluffy. I always make that extra effort to enjoy freshly made vadas in the morning as they open up! The helping is great with complimentary sambhar refills on call , which is always served piping hot .
In recent times , they have started doing chowmein variety as well . Distinctly local taste on noodles and well prepared with plenty of vegetables and best way to savour them would be to eat - in.
You can amp up the spiciness level , depending on your preference.
Usually quite crowded and is very popular joint for economical rates and quality food they offer . Don't go looking for ambiance or drawing comparisons between big names like those of carnatic cafe , sagar ratna or naivedyam. You'll be dissapointed.
They also offer home delivery and have a very limited seating space.

Basically this is a South Indian Snacks restaurant. But I come here for its tasty Veg Chowmein and Singapore chowmein. The preparation is very good with lots of vegetables stir fried to perfection.
Lovely economical South Indian food should start serving chilled water & also add new varieties of South Indian dishes as well so as to increase variety in menu
A small theli wala south Indian man moved in to a shop. He progressed which he deserved as the taste is amazing and food is of good quality and quantity. While he was on theli, one could not pass without mouth being watered because of his sambar khusbhu. Now started even preparing Chowmein. That is also upto the mark and is delicious
Small and simple shop tucked in a corner of madhuvihar market. South Indian food is authentic and amazing. No AC, no ambiance. Simple and fresh food. Masala dosa is amazing.
Best way to enjoy: go at 9:00 am sunday morning, and order freshly made idllis. Value for money
Well it's a small food joint serving the best of south Indian food in patparganj. They serve indo Chinese as well, which tastes okay. Yes, the place is dirty and un hygienic, but you can't complain at this price. Better order on phone and enjoy at home
There is no or little seating space or delivery option available. Mostly people prefer take away. South Indian dosas are nice. Idlis are big and tasty
Tasty south indian dishes at reasonable rates. Don't expect great ambiance though.
Good and only South Indian menu in I P.Extension area. Preety old now.. quality and portion size is good..limited seating capacity is there but majority is take away
Love the place. Proper street side food. Less choice but maximum impact.
Probably this place will be here 10 or even 20 yrs from now. Will become synonymous with madhu vihar market.
Personal favourite is extra spicy Singapori chowmein.
Food was good but ambience was not, we had to wait for about 15 mins to get a seat.
Nice staff , food is good, tastes amazing, would recommend if looking for good South Indian food
They serve really delicious south Indian food , Sambhar is so good , dosa uttapan idli are must try , genuinely love to dine in there
Excellent South Indian taste of this particular outlet, if you ever visit Madhu Vihar market make sure you visit and enjoy some great cuisine.
Great pricing. Good food. No complaints at all.
Good restaurant in its
Own category & stride
Price worthy south indian food and the chowmein is yumm
It is actually a small crowded shop especially for south indian food. But too be honest, food is good in taste. You may also get some chowmein options too.
It is normal like some street shop but I have been visting there since last two years and was never disappointed by taste of food.
Please do try idli.
Best south indian food. Just 1 drawback that they are not on either swiggy or zomato.
Good South Indian food to carry home
Food prepared here is hygienic, taste is good. Have ordered several times never disappointed so far. Though price seems bit high. Overall good experience and great food. Those who love south Indian food must visit this place. Sitting arrangement is conjusted so that is something they can work on.
It is very tough job to find a good Dosa in delhi.. On that term it is really a good option comparatively. Nariyal chatni scores better than sambhar. Taste is more authentic than urban. You can sit and enjoy. And yes i saw mendu vada here only in delhi. Also Chinese food is there on the menu.
