Nice decent place. It used to be Sreeratnam earlier. Due to franchise issues, it's name and menu changed! Rest all retained as it is! South Indian is explorable. Done some really awesome twisting with dosa specially!

Newly Opened Desi Villa has some pretty nice interiors and I must say that a very few places in Karkardooma are that good which take cares of your ambiance too. Well the name itself saying Desi villa so you're gonna have some pretty much Desi Dishes in a Villa feel. Interiors are pretty much like a villa & You'll feel that you're dining in a Villa. And their menu card is full of some crazy dishes and their fusions. Now talking about their Food, they do follow up a pretty good presentation standards, that too with a Desi touch. I've tried multiple items from their menu and here's the list of all:-
Ramesh Suresh: I really enjoyed their drink. It was a shake basically & it was so good that I did not shared that with anyone. Haha, I do that very often when I like something!
Crispy Piaz Tempakoraz: While having these I just thought that only missing thing was raining outside cause their Pyaz Pakora were really nice and they were presented really well in a wagon.
Schezuan Momos: They were Ok in taste. The feel of Schezuan was slightly missing in those momos but other than that they were just fine.
Pav Bhaji: I must say, usually people don't make Bhaji that good. As something always drags that Bhaji down. But if you're dining at Desi Villa, you won't be experiencing that for sure. You'll love their Pav Bhaji and after all there are very few places in East Delhi who makes good Pav Bhaji and I certainly will count this place in that list for sure.
Spider Rolls: I like their concept of using Chopsuey Glass noodles as the covering of those rolls which makes that Spider feel. Their internal stuffing was done by Cottage Cheese (i.e. Paneer) where they could've used actual Cheddar Cheese which might enhance the feel of those rolls even more than ever considering the Paneer still inside.
Chilly Garlic Noodles: It wasn't that Spicy as one can only feel a bit of Garlic in those noodles but there were No sign of Chilly inside that. So, it could be more spicy to add that "Spicy" word in that name.
Amritsari Kulcha with Choley: I liked their Amritsari Choley and specially that amazing presentation they did. They actually put up that dish on a "Manji". Salt was a bit high in those Choley but overall a nice on. Dope presentation!
Cookie Nut Crunch Ice Cream: You'll feel like eating that New Cadbury Marvelous Creations chocolate. It was that amazing! The feel of that salted cookie crunch and the creamy feel of that ice cream finally elated my entire mood. Will recommend this particular ice cream to the Dessert Lovers!
Nice ambiance and great food. We visited the place with couple of friends (10 in total) and the staff arranged for the table in no time. The food is awesome and service is awesome , so many option to choose from , a must go with family .

Desi Villa is a recently opened restaurant in my locality ie Surajmal Vihar. It is a beautifully done restaurant indeed which is split in to three floors. The interior and decor of the place are quite minimalisticly done. I personally liked the first floor the most and obviously chose to dine there only. I was there with my family for dinner. They have North Indian, Chinese, South Indian and some fusion food as well in their menu.
We started our meal first with starters namely C2, Angrezi Pav Bhaji, Veg salt and pepper, Mix veg uttapam and Spider rolls. Everything was superb in taste and preparation except Spider rolls. Everyone in my family loved C2 the most, basically they were fried Idli in Chinese style.
We also had Banana Caramel shake and Ramesh Suresh shake which was a preparation of five star chocolate shake.
Our mains consisted of Lahori Kadhai paneer, Gobhi adraki and Dal Makhani along with assorted breads. All of them were prepared very nicely.
Ending of our dinner happened with fruit Sundae and Almond ice cream.
Overall a very nice experience we had at Desi Villa. The staff and service was quite efficient and effective. The manager himself took very good care of his guests, which was quite impressive. It is a perfect family place, so it is definitely recommended to everyone.

East Delhi does not have many good restaurants and this count falls even lower when it comes to pure vegetarian restaurants. Desi Villa fills that void. Though this place is not perfect and has some scope for improvement, but in this neighbourhood it is your best bet if you are looking out some good vegetarian food.
LOCATION: it is located in A block, Surajmal Vihar Karkardooma.
AMBIENCE/INTERIORS: this is a well lit big place spread over two floors. Decor is kept minimal and the seating is very spacious and comfortable. The first floor is better in terms if interiors than the ground floor.
SERVICE: waiters are very friendly, courteous and attentive. Service speed is also pretty good.
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
● BANANA CARAMEL SHAKE: a thick shake having decent amount amount of caramel flavour. ( 4.5/5 )
● DAHI VADA: classic south Indian style dahi vada. A tad bit high on sweetness. ( 4/5 )
● CRISPY PIAZ TEMPAKORAS: peri peri seasoned onion pakoras. ( 4/5 )
● ANGREZI PAV BHAJI: this was the tastiest dish here. The bhaji was so damn good..it had the taste of that streetside pav bhaji stalls. Recommended. ( 5/5 )
● VEG KEBAB PLATTER: an assortment of various different kebabs, pretty average in taste..soya chaap being the best of them. ( 3.5/5 )
● MYSORE MASALA DOSA: the filling of dosa was very balanced and the sambhar & chutneys were also pretty good in taste. ( 4/5 )
● AMRITSARI KULCHA WITH CHOLEY: the presentation, the taste, the quantity..everything was near perfect. ( 4.5/5 )
● DUM ALOO: a bit too sweet for my taste. ( 3.5/5 )
● GAJAR KA HALWA: perfect dessert to end a fantastic meal. ( 4.5/5 )
Desi Villa is purely vegetarian restaurant located in karkarduma. It's one of the finest restaurant one can find in east Delhi.
Its a well built restaurant with huge space. Good sitting arrangements spread over two floors. They also manages small parties.
Interiors are nicely done with comfortable sofa seatings. All over they have Feel good ambience.
Service was up to the mark. Waiters were courteous and well mannered.

Desi Villa is in Surajmal Vihar and at present it is like a boon to the vegetarian East Delhites. They have opened at the same location where Shree Rathnam was opened last year. The interiors are decent and cosy. They are spread on three floors. Ground and first floor have seating for regular dine in. The terrace is only available for private parties though.
I personally loved the food here. My personal favourites were Angrezi Pav Bhaji, Veg Salt and Pepper and C2 (Fried Idli wok tossed with shezwaan sauce) amongst the starters. I liked the Veg sizzler as well.
In the main we ordered for Adraki Gobhi, Daal Makhani and Lahori Paneer along with Assorted Breads.
We ordered for Banana Caramel Shake and Ramesh Suresh. They were thick and with right consistency.

Desi Villa is a very well managed restaurant in the area. Very clean, spacious - covering 3 floors and perfect for a family gathering. Light music makes the ambience perfect for a relaxing experience.
To start the meal, we ordered chinese platter which had tandoori momos, honey chilli potato and chilli paneer. These three were perfectly spicy for my tastebuds! Couldnt help but finish most of it. I also ordered paneer tikka which came in 3 flavours. Tandoori was the best one of the lot. Presentation of the dishes were spot on.
Along with the food, we ordered Sweet lime soda and oreo shake. Lime soda was very basic. Nothing special about it but Oreo shake was really good !
Coming to the main course, they have variety of curries in the North Indian main course. After spending a good amount of time in deciding, we went for Malai kofta and dal makhni with breads. I think this was the point when this restaurant impressed me the most. Malai kofta was mouth watering and went really well with dal makhni and butter naan. We ended our meal with 2 scoops of ice cream.
Overall, this place offers a wide variety in each course. Being a non vegetarian, I did not even think about non veg because I had ample number of veg dishes to choose from.
Whenever a new pure vegetarian restaurant pops up around our neighbourhood, my veggie friends makes sure, we visit that ASAP.. So was the case with Desi Villa, when it launched last month.. But only this time was that rare exception, when i absolutely loved the place.. A beautiful family restaurant will make u feel homely as soon as u enter with thr soothing decor and amazing hospitality.. We ordered tandoori aloo, veg. seekh kebabs, dosa and veg. biryani.. The service was super fast and the food was brilliant.. Am planning a second visit this week with my family this time and hopefully many more ahead.. Overall, A MUST VISIT vegetarian restaurant in East Delhi..
Its not just about name the restaurant serves all kind of cuisine but north Indian is their speciality. one of the best location in east delhi, you wont get any fuss to park your car at all. I have a list of ḍelicious food served here but mushroom is a must try in starters. Prices are really pocket friendly which makes it good to go for evening snacks & a filter coffee though. I personally had mooṅg dal halwa which was like perfect, less of oil & balanced sugar 😊
Amazing starters and a trust for hygiene. Very clean environment and very friendly staff. Do try dahi ke shole and their special Oreo shake. Only decent people come here as it's primarily a family restaurant.

I am always on a lookout for pure vegetarian places because of my family and there are hardly any such places these days but a couple days ago i found this place not too far from my place. Located near the 'Central Market' of Surajmal Vihar is this restaurant where Shree rathnam used to be earlier.
A typical family restaurant with a two floor sitting. Since they were having a private party on the first floor, we chose to dine-in on the ground floor. They have covered all your regular North Indian-Chinese-South Indian favourites alongwith some dishes with twists of their own.
We started off with their delicious Tandoori Momos much better than the hyped QD's. The filling was more than just cabbage and they were tandoor-ed to perfection ;) Then came the turn for something south Indian with their masala dosa. While the dosa tasted regular, their chutneys and sambhar tasted great and authentic. We also tried their Shanghai Surprise Sizzler with the option of noodles. Just the sound of the sizzle was enough to make my mouth water, noodles served with a side of Chilli Paneer and Veggies in soy sauce, I quite enjoyed it.
We paired the good food with their Banana Caramel and Kitkat shake. While the kitkat shake needs to be more thick, Banana Caramel was made just right with balanced flavours of Banana and Caramel.
If you are looking for a family lunch or dinner then this is just the right place for you. Definitely going back soon to try their North Indian affaire.
It's a new restaurant in surajmal vihar. Clean and Nicely decorated with a different set of food options. There presentation is simple and elegant. Best part is the food, you can have variety of starters like karare papad dish, something named as cocktail aalu etc. It's worth a try for food lovers and it's a pure veg restaurant.
Heard about this newly opened place, so decided to check it out. The place is nice and not at all crowded, which I like as you get your privacy. The decor could be improved though.
I was really surprised with the food. It was pretty good. The service was quick. The staff kept coming time to time to ensure that everything was okay. I do wish that there were more options for desserts. But overall, nice place. Will be visiting again definitely.

Nestled in the heart of Connaught Place, Desi Villagio offers a unique dining experience that transports you to a distant era. The restaurant's ambiance, adorned with antique pieces such as stone coins, stamps, and telephones, exudes an old-world charm that complements its theme of a rustic village.
Upon entering, we were greeted with Jaljeera and masala papad.
The kebab platter presented to us was having hara bhara kebab, gloti kebab, and the exceptional crispy kebab. Each piece was meticulously crafted, bursting with flavors.
Moving on to the main course, the dal makhni stole the show with its perfect balance of richness and creaminess. The paneer rogan josh and chaap rogan josh brought a spicy twist to the meal with bold flavours. However, the amritsari kulcha and lacha prantha outshone the choor choor naan, which lacked the traditional filling.
While the naan and kulcha left room for improvement, the overall dining experience at Desi Villagio was really great.
Recently I visited Desi Villagio for lunch and loved the ambience,decor, service and food. Great place to hangout with friends & family. You will get both the options for veg as well as non veg.

I recently visited this village themed restaurant with a typical Desi vibe. Food is quite delectable from starters to main course. And a Welcome drink is complimentary along with some Papad. I ordered multiple items like Bharwan Golgappe, Galouti Kebab, Mushroom Masala, Biryani and everything was up to the mark. Recommended for anyone who's looking for some Desi food in the heart of delhi.

I was welcomed with a chilled shikanji and spicy papad and it was charges free. Then I ordered paneer tikka, chaap tikka, Chaap Rogan Josh, Veg Biryani, Mango mastani lassi, and Gulab jamun. I loved my entire meal from starters to my desserts.
Atmosphere and ambience was awesome. It's little expensive but worth money once you have your meal there. It was satisfying for me. They serve you 6 different types of pickles with the main course.
If you're looking for something different and unique then this is the best place to enjoy with your friends, family, or birthday celebration.
