Today I went to Karim in malviya ngr.... I felt too much hungry . Then... I ordered to zeera rice..... Mutton korma.... Tawa chicken.... Garlic naan..... It was to healthy to eat ND very delious in taste ..... Tawa chicken was so yummy... Very sour..
But mutton corma was not good to eat.... I was very disappointed to had a mutton corma.... ... Service was do good and deliver bit was so friendly nature......
Karim serves you with their best kababs you will ever get. Delicious food and overall good service.I had an amazing experience with my family.
Eid Mubarak##Lunch date with my foody friends##foodlover##day well spent##can't get over with yummy dish and amazing roti🤩🤩
Mutton korma and khamiri Roti
Awesome food... The best muglai after its main branch near jamia masjid.. Great food with great taste... Love to visit it over and over again
awesome and delecious food, first time try karim, must go with another item next time
Karims @ Malviya Nagar is a place to enjoy the brand Karim without getting into the bustlings and rustling of Jama Masjid but the food taste and quality and quantity is a per the Karims standard. My favourite dish over here is the boneless Jahangiri Murg along with their khamiri tandoori roti served with sirkawala onions. Needless to say the dish is a mouth watering and inspite of being loaded with oil it somehow doesn't make you feel heavy after the food.
A must visit place for trying authentic mughlai food.
Ordered Mutton Nihari and Handi ghost. Order reached on time nothing wrong in that. But mutton wasn't cooked properly. Other wise the curry was brilliant. Loved it.
The taste was different from the MG road Karim's I believe they are not from the same chain of restaurants.
Had been to this place recently. Seating and ambience were great. Service too was good. Tried murgh korma with plain roti. Subzi was great, loved their roti too which was very soft.
Good food. Staff is cooperative and service was quick.
Best is their non veg food. And for dessert must try phirni. Their seek kababs are soft, juicy and well cook.
I have been to this place for quite sometime now. Food is good but I guess now a day’s it’s not so crowded as it use to be. Also their food is different from karim’s Jama Masjid. We mostly stick to chicken jahangiri & nahari and so far we have not been disappointed. This place is good if you want to have some Mughlai food. Parking is a problem there.
Excellent experience! Extremely flavorful, authentic recipes. Butter chicken is sweet and delectable. Quick service.
Best mughlai restaurant in Malviya Nagar!
Karim's has always been a favorite.. A place that comes to my mind when I feel like having pure mughlai delicacies. My personal favorite is their Mutton Seekh and butter chicken with naan. Their naan is a lil sweet and along with butter chicken it's way sweeter but tastes really delectable (everyone's pallette craves for different tastes and spice level)
so many years gone by that I stuck to chicken jahangiri, nahari, stew, noorjahani (served by outlet near the jama masjid), biryani and occasionally malai kofta with khamiree roti. by no means undermining how sumptuous and yummy these dishes are
Took a detour and ordered brain curry with roti along with keema naan. To my surprise, keema naan was the best I have eaten in a long long time. In fact the best !! Got so mesmerized with how it looked that forgot to take picture. Brain curry is no ordinary either; drawing it's spice to the pallet from whole black peppers added in abundance...It's a must for ones who love to sweat while eating.
Chicken or mutton Barra (dry snack) is awesome too
place is located in the market of malviya nagar...mughlai food is the best part of this restaurant........i recommend this place to taste the best mughlai food....i love to hangout this place again and again......................................
My second most frequented Karim's after the Jama
masjid outlet. After trying almost everything on the menu, we generally stick to the mutton seekh kebabs and jahangiri korma. Look no further !!
Follow me on Instagram @SPICEITUPWITHSAM
Yummy chicken stew and unique tandoori roti...lovely..thank you Karim's. Thanks to Zomato I can enjoy such good food at home. We enjoyed a lot today..
Like all other outlets they serve delicious Mughlai cuisine. Ordered a brain curry. It was really tasty and lip smacking.
Taste: 4/5
Packaging: 3/5

Good Mughal food .
Found a little bit on the higher side with use of oil . But great taste of biryani , Tukhm e murg !!
The Phirni is also great , the restaurant seems a little run down by the looks . Could use some renovation .
We ordered-
Malai kofta - "Delicious soft cottage cheese dumplings, stuffed and served in a rich creamy gravy" - they served exactly what they described in their menu card. Those koftas were way too soft and delicious though the gravy wasn't that creamy and tasted much as tomato gravy but nevermind that was tasty too. I have tasted Malai koftas of many restaurants but theirs was very good as they weren't too sweet. The sweetness was just perfect. And the presentation was also nice.
Rumali roti - Very soft, hot and fresh.
Mutton stew - It looked tasty but I can't review it as I don't eat mutton. 😂 but as per my friend- Quality of the dish has gone down a notch. Serving size adequate for a single person. Not over spicy. Well balanced spice. Best enjoyed with tandoori roti. One of their best dishes.
Had been to Karim's quite a few times. To start with starters the ideal would be Mutton Burra, Afghani Chickenm, Murg Tikka.
I loved to have Chicken/ Mutton Biryani with raita in the main course. Mughlai Murg with Roti / Naan would be an ideal choice too.
Loved Chicken tikka roll too, quite simple but tasty. Would love to try Tandoori Raan sometime. heard a lot about it!

Me and my family have been dining at Karim's since my childhood, and have very fond memories of this place.
We decided to dine here at the malviya nagar outlet thinking that the food quality is going to be the same, however we were a little disappointed as it was the opposite of what we were thinking."The Food used to be much better earlier.
We ordered Mutton Nihari,Mutton seekh,Mutton Barrah,Mutton Biryani,Khamiri rotis,Sheermal and few Fresh lime's,everything turnrd out to br very below average, the mutton seekh had a peculiar smell of animal fat,the nihari (one of my absolute favorite) was very ordinary......
All in all we were all in for a disappointing food experience. And to top this all the service is like extremely slow.
I ordered sheermal, jahangiri chicken, khamiri roti, mutton seekh roll. First thing's first, the delivery guy came in with the order, I made the payment and took the package. After 5 minutes he rings the bell that they delivered half chicken instead the quarter, so I handed it back and he said he will be back in 5 minutes. But, it took more than 20 minutes for that which is a sad case. Talking about the food, it was the first time for me to karims. The sheermal was very nice. I loved it. Lovely taste of sugar ghee blended in the flour. The roll was great too. Jahangiri chicken had too much of elaichi but still tasted great, was delivered piping hot. The khamiri roti were very soggy. I am not sure what caused this, just the delivery time or their khamiri wasn't upto the standard. I would definitely try this again.
I paid a visit to this branch of the 'legendary' Kareem's from jama masjid. I rated the oldest karims a 3.5/5 due to various reasons and I stand corrected, I won't be rating this outlet any higher either.
I just paid a visit because I'm a huge fan of Kareem's mutton seekh kebabs.
From my experience at the other Karims, I ordered a portion of chicken mughlai, and my favourite - mutton seekh kebabs.
The mutton seekh, as always, one of the best I've ever had, yes it's that tasty and amazing. I ordered 3 plates =p Juicy, soft, tasty, sumptuous; you name it.
Chicken Mughlai was excellent, yet again, although a bit on the sweeter side.
The rotis are khamiri rotis and not your usual tandoori rotis, so that may not be to everybody's liking, and they dry up fast so have at them, quickly! Also, the butter naan, as they say, isn't just a 'bit' sweet. It's completely sweet, more than they claim. So order cautiously.
The service at this outlet was fine, except I wasn't too impressed with the ambiance. It was kind of gloomy and saddening, I have no clue why.
Seekh - 5/5
Gravies - 4.5/5
Service - 3.5/5
Overall rating - 3.5/5
Have visited this place many a times and was very happy with the taste of food as well as the services. Especially their Jahangiri Chicken is worth to mention and not to miss whenever you visit this restaurant. Ambience needs improvement. Overall a good place to visit.
Karim's my go to place whenever I am home and want to indulge in some really nice curries. Don't go there looking for what you call Ambience or Happening atmosphere they have kept it really simple to the point of being boring however definitely go there for their dishes and their Khameeri Roti, it's yummy. Their Handi Murgh special, Chicken Stew and Nahari Mutton is delicious. They tend to go over the board with Oils (Ghee, Butter and Oil) though. Never lacks on taste though. Good place to have authentic Mughlai.
The. Restaurant was located not in crowded place.. The ambiance of the restaurant was OK. The worse part of most Karems washroom or rest rooms are not good at all.. In fact very bad. quality of food is OK not great .. Less then your expectations...
Ordered the murg Tikka biryani and the vegetarian pulao for a party of 6...the portions were generous and the preparation was good.. Nothing to blow your mind away but a decent option to order in from once in a while
Love the food. Must try: Chicken jahangiri, Chicken Stew, brain curry, Khameeri roti, Tandoori parantha, Badam pasanda, Phirni, Dal Makhani, Kebabs. It's not as good as Jama masjid Karim but this outlet definitely deserves 4/5 rating. The staff is courteous and friendly. Delivery is very quick. Keep it up guys.
Had ordered food from here some time back. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. It's really good !! There is a difference between this and the original karims in old Delhi but it's not a big difference. The brain curry is really good and the mutton rogan josh it's great too. A must try.
A must try joint in an overly crowded food court of select city walk DLF place..I love it's biryani and keema kaleji ..mutton nahari is a must try here. A good outlet for non veg lovers.
If u really want to have good taste in Karim's then visit at malviya nagar because they prapare food not in hurry as it not very crowded. Its environment is also peaceful. I ordered sikh kabab, egg curry and butter roti. The gravy of egg curry was very tasty so u shud try it once.
Rocky and Mayur from Highway On My Plate and a recommendation from a Delhi based friend brought us here. Generous portions, succulent kebabs, soft (and slightly on the sweeter side) naan. Tried their Jahangiri Murgh and a plate of Dil Pasand Seekh Kabab. The chicken curry was delicious, rich thick gravy that was perfectly complemented by their fresh naan. Hype surrounding their kebabs is absolutely justified, haven't had something this good in a long time. I don't usually like mutton as much, but this simply melted in our mouths!
Mughlai, pocket friendly? Karim's is the place to go. ✌🏻️
I really dont think anyone staying in Delhi and being a Non Veg fan needs to be told what Karims is about.
We went there for a quick lunch and to our surprise - and i think its the first time ever that iv seen this at Karims - it was an empty house. I guess prob it was to so with the location or even the fact that it was the month of the roza. However this specific restaurant does not do justice to the brand. The ambience is not up to the mark. A very dull place it seemed
The food im not reviewing as i feel it does not do justice to Karim's food. However for hygiene sake - here it goes : we ordered mutton nahari, bheja curry, mutton seekh kebab, khameeri roti and keema naan. While everything was sheer outstanding - one stand alone disappointment was the keema naan. It was a lile a fried keema kacchori and was no where close to what was expected.
So much so - and i say it as a personal pov - it was the worst keema naan ever. Apart from that the food was top notch
The staff here too warrants a special mention. They werent too friendly and seemed sad that we were there and that they had to serve us.
All in all - u r better off ordering from here than dining in as the experience @ home will be way way better than having food at the restaurant
This outlet is a close second to the mother ship at Jama Masjid. Their Nahari, Khameeri Roti, Chicken Roast, Mutton Seekh Kebabs, Chicken and Mutton Stew and even the unusual manner in which the Thums-up is served ( not in the original bottle but probably out of a 1 litre plastic equivalent into a glass and brought to the table ) is exemplary !! The service is spot on and always with a smile. When you ask for extras like onions without the masala it comes in a blink. The roti is fantastic and the food always steaming hot.
I like this place which is more than I can say for its GK2, Gurgaon and Saket cousins.
This outlet could be a sad demise for the quality of karims food but their mutton seekh kabab was really great and the khamiri roti was awsome and better than karims green park & nizamuddin.
Yummy Tummy
Good food, great taste and excellent service. This place can satisfy u with its specialites itself. Interior is worthy of the budget and quality is above excellent. Chicken jahangiri is a standout along with khamiri roti comprising a perfect mughal meal. Chicken quorma and Chicken akbari too are very satisfying dishes.
The quantity of food served is good and the place is quite economical as well.
It is very expensive. Although the interiors and ambiance are amazing, you have to shell out loads of money to dine-in here.
Food is really good. Especially mutton korma!
So if u don't want to go all the way to chandni chowk, this outlet is what I'd refer you.
If you are a delhite, you will know what Karim's means to a die hard non-veg lover. Everything from their kebabs to their curries transports you to the mughal era. This outlet although not par with the jama masjid or nizamuddin one, is decent enough with an easy to find location. The ambience is kept simple and the service is amazingly quick. They dont do any stringency with oil and butter as well as flavours. The food is good and you will not be disappointed.
I have not been to the original one but this outlet is a no frills, straight to the point restaurant. Quality is good and you will get stuffed to your neck very quickly as it's very heavy and loaded with butter. Rolls are great and a must try !!!
The place is meant only for great and heavily stuffed food... no fancy ambience, no classy crockery, no fancy garnishes... they offer tasty food, courteous service, good quantity with lots of butter and pocket friendly too... keema naan, mutton and veg kofta had been awesome... they need to improve on the chapattis...
The sitting is decent. The food is extremely filling and satisfying. Their mutton korma is really good. Butter chicken is a little on the sweeter side.
This is what real and awesome food looks and tastes like. No fancy plating or plates and glasses. Just awesome food that makes you want to go back and spend a whole day gorging on the delicious burra kabab and mutton nahari. The best part is that even after eating so much, this time and every time, I never feel stuffed or sick. Karim's just never disappoints!
The place is very good for dine in as well as home delivery there food is reasonable to I don't like there chicken curry but there mutton is best in malviya nagar.if they include a bar they would get 5 stars if you go there dont forget to eat naan
The legendry Karim's food served in a fine dining restaurant. The ambiance is nice and peaceful. The butter chicken is good with different flavours that takes you to the Mughal era. The tandoori roti served here is just awesome. The kababs and tikkas are mouth watering and just melts into your mouth.
Karim's Malviya Nagar, well because original Karim's at Jama Masjid is far and Karim's Nizamuddin is not close either.
Karim's Malviya Nagar as their tradition offers typical Old Delhi Mughlai Cuisine and as any Old Delhi style restaurant, a short and simple menu. Their Shorbas area amazing but their strength or USP is their Tandoor, expecially Mutton Burra (slurrrp) and Tandoori Raan.
All in all a great old delhi style mughlai food followed by old delhi style desserts.
Karim's...the name needs no introduction. Delicious food good ambiance.
For starters tried Afghani Chicken, made perfect soft tender nd juicy, paneer tikka was also good. For main course had the famous 'BUTTER CHICKEN'. Want to say it has something special in it, whenever I eat it, it tends to be more tastier. Also had khabari murg and kadhai panner, they were good. Was bit dissapointed when it came on sweet dish, Both phirni and kulfi were not upto the mark.
The staff and ambiance were good, although not what we see in nizamudin or jama masjid, but they were at par.
All over experience was good.
Had heard a lot about it. And it was as per expectations. A bit costly but justified. Chicken dishes were very soft. Will love to go there once again.
Iv had two very different experience here. The first was a couple of years back. I had gone there for lunch with a few friends and the food was stale and tasted funny. So I never went back there until a couple of weeks back when my friend decided to order from there. This time we ordered sheik kababs and tandoori chicken. Both of them were great but the sheik kababs were especially brilliant. The flavors were just right and the meat succulent. Id probably order form there again before I make up my mind about this place.
Karim's- the name is the main attraction. In comparison to THE KARIM's at Jama Masjid - this place stands little ground.
Been to this place many times, with friends, colleagues and family - all the visits been worth though not great. The food options in veg are limited but non-veg has a wide spread. Also, the y are quick on service.
Recommended items: 1) Murg Malai Tikka 2) Murg Jhangiri ( very oily yet unique gravy) and 3) Murg Peshawari
Overall, worth visit - some may like the food and others may not but the food definitely has some uniqueness. Uniqueness includes size of chicken pieces and use of very distinct/aromatic spices.
TRY MURGH JAHANGIRI!
I am a foodie if served good food I am yours (customer) forever.
I have been to this place a few times. Not very clean table clothes, are the first things which i noticed multiple times.
I ordered: KHEEMA NAAN and CHICKEN JEHANGIRI.
Wow, Chicken made in thick gravy of minced Mutton Kheema. Made with perfect spices and the taste of kheema naan just made it awesome to have in combination!
Do try this. MURGH JEHANGIRI is perfect for HOME DELIVERY too as it will taste good for 2 days if you keep in Fridge too!
Is really good! take out heat and eat with fulke. You will still love it next day too!

BHUNA CHICKEN = LOVE
Its Chicken with mutton keema gravy. Need I say more.
AMAZING chicken. Superbly cooked.
People should stop comparing it to JAMA MASJID, cuz thats way different.
The menu is different. The food is different. The people are different.
But taste is good. Great actually.
Yes you can complain for the amount of oil they use, but then again, you don't go to karims everyday. ;)
Fried chicken is again much much better than KFC.
i personally like Karim's, for more than one reason..they provide great mughlai food and the taste is unique, but not really for those who live on salads, not that such food can be had on daily basis, no matter how great the taste is, but once in a while, i do drop in, and compensate for it with some excercise every morning. a job well done, god bless
