their kakori kabab is really amazing. last night i went there with my friend. we order kakori and varqi paratha. kakori kabab was very soft and paratha aslo. chickdn tikka roll was very soft and juicy. geat food and service.
I always thought this place had something to do with the famous al kouser. I was wrong on that part.

The kakori kebabs, galouti kebabs and warki parantha are the best. Good to have rolls in roomali roti as well.
Dont expect fancy stuff from this place. Its more like a dhaba. Hygiene factor is also missing.

Ordered just the awesome Varqi Parathas & their specialty Mutton Kakori this time. While the Varqi was exceptional, the Kababs were a shade loaded too much with Kali Mirch & spice so not really the authentic Lakhnawi stuff!

This place has the best mutton Kakori ,galauti kabab. Do try the mutton barra its the best you can get in the town for sure. Unlike other places where mutton usually hard. The piece of barra and kakori will melt in your mouth. To go along with this have Varqi Parantha.

Some of the best kakori and galouti there is available in south Delhi. The varqi parantha is brilliant as well. The rolls and the malai tikka is amazing.
Chicken afgani. It is fantastic and excellent. Absolutely made in perfect way. The taste s absolutely perfect. Feel like eating more over here. Wonderful atmosphere which is the most important.
Had been looking at this outlet for quite some time while going to work and never thought they would have something different from the market for the vegetarians. So this was a evening my friends were having their meal at this outlet and i joined them later as there is a newly opened outlet in the market pind punjabi wanted to try their 'dahi ke kabab' which are never available with them so ended up ordering veg galauti from this outlet only and found them really nice in taste. It was going really well with the varqi paratha. But they need to improve on the chutney they serve it was really bland which takes away their half a point and found the kababs a bit over priced so second half for that. Rest the service was really nice.
If you are looking for some sumptuous mouth-watering Kakori Kebabs, then this is THE place for you. DO NOT forget to try the Varqi Parathas. These are out of the world lip smacking breads which will make you visit this place again, and again.. and again. Chicken tikka, mutton biryani & mutton galouti are also worth trying.
Excellent Kakori Kebab, although very high on the green chili so not for the faint of heart. Chutney could be better but I was quite happy, and delivery took around 40 minutes.

It's not much of an adventurous place so better to keep it simple when ordering. Â Its a tiny space but their food was yum yum. I am big fan of mughlai food but most of the time, I get put off because of the excessive spice in the eateries. But here it was mouth watering delicious, perfectly seasoned and to die for. The biggest attraction for me was that it was pocket friendly and yummmy. It would be great if they could maybe increase their portion sizes for the people with a regulat appetite might find it a little too less.
Amazing Food! Had Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Tikka and the serving was enormous! Took two of us to finish. Had to wait for a while but it was nice.
Well on a Carobar ( bar in the car ) with some friends .. And one of them strongly recommending it. And it turned out to be a great reco.
They serve one of the best chicken seekh kabab you would get anywhere else in Delhi.. Chicken kebabs are never my favourite but Alaalia's kebab are simply awesome.
Also to go for the Veg Galaoti Kebabs and the Daal Makhni..

This is one place that has never disappointed me . I have been eating here for a few years now . This place serves one of the best Kakori and Galauti Kebabs . I always have the Galauti/kakori kebab roll in parantha and during my innumerable visits here they have been so consistent with their taste its amazing . The server here is very polite and professional .Â
 Do have the phirni too when you visit this place .

Alaalia bbq is a place worth a visit..the kebabs served are extremely soft,tasty and very flavorfull.. The best thing to accompany kebabs were varqi parantha.. They were soft and nice.. Give a try..

I was in GK last weekend and the urge to eat Kakori kebab and the fear of traffic made us take the decision of getting food packed from Alaalia, instead of driving down to Al kauser. Alaalia seems to have been part of Al kauser a while ago but now isn't a part of the franchise, though they still use the Al kauser branding on their board.
The setup of the outlet also resembles Al kauser of a fee years ago. It doesn't have any indoor seating, has a free tables and chairs spread across in the open and a lot of people choose to eat in their cars. The service was excellent, very warm and helpful and the order was made fresh and packed hot.
We ordered the following:
1) Kakori kebab: this is why we choose to GI here and this is the signature dish that Al kaiser and Alaalia offer. The kebab had perfect texture but the taste wasn't as good as Al kauser.
2) Varqi parantha: superb parantha. As good as served anywhere else. Best accompaniment to the Kakori.
3) Chicken tikka roll: the roll was made without onion and chutney, which was packed separately. This ensured that the roll wasn't soggy once we reached home. The chicken tikka was excellent, making us wish it had more stuffing.
Overall Alaalia is pretty great outlet for eating in. Just wish their Kakori were a little better.

Sorry for the bad pictures. We ordered for varqi paranthas to accompany our chicken tikkas, chicken malai tikka, reshmi kabab and their most famous kakori. The guy (Ravi) who took our order was very courteous and flexible, he definitely knows the game. Rating - 9/10
The first thing that i chose to bite was my favourite chicken tikka that i never fail to order when at a mughlai restaurant. The first time in my life i felt a hint of butter while biting a tikka, the most 'tender and mild' so its not the masala tikka that we get in most mughlai restaurants ( i did feel a bit of rawness but i want to ignore highlighting it), but thats exactly what i want and they've now earned a regular customer. Rating - 8/9
Next came the varqi paranthas, that look like lacha parantha but are sweet, one can just snack on it with tea. I wouldn't personally have it with anything else but i repeated my order anyway. Rating - 8/10
Now to my surprise, we came here because we heard about their kakori kawabs, but i am not a big fan of it. If u want tender n mushy kawabs this is it, but the pepper and elaichi and what not was too high that i didnt feel it, it felt more floury. I recognise meat! 4/10
The moment i had a bite of the malai tikka, juicy was the word. I relished it the most and i want to quote it as "perfect". 9.5/10
Reshmi kabab reminded me of momos without the flour shells. I know its a little unusual, but i liked it. It was kabab with onions, never tasted something like that in mughlai. Rating - 7/10

Missed mentioning the mint chutney, its the purest form of mint chutney i have tried, loved it. Does not have curd nor is it watery.

It earlier used to be Alkauser, but now its Alaalia Bar Be Que, seriously has not at all changed a bit even. I have always been here during festivals, whether its holi or new year, or lorhi, i have always got their food packed to make the festival even more great.
Their butter chicken is too good, i have eaten better at other places but still what they prepare is also nice and of high quality & and a high standard. The chicken is very tender and gets easily dissolved in the mouth, it comes in a delicious gravy which has a happy and cheerful orange colour. They prepare the gravy also according to your taste, you just tell them whether it has to be sweet or spicy, thick or thin and they will just do it for you. Buuter chicken is must try. They give a really nice quantity of the butter chicken, which is quite generous of them.
Their paneer tikka is worth trying, soft, mouth melting, deliciously amazing.
The staff is friendly, you will find it that you always will be welcomed with warm smile and served with pleasure.
In short : service - 4/5, taste - 3.8/5, value for money - 3.8/5, ambience - 4/5 small and cute, during winters its a 5/5, Staff - 5/5
I ordered the Kakori Kebabs, Varqi Paratha and Lucknowi Mutton Dum Handi Biryani. The Kakori Kebabs melted in the mouth and had a very good flavor. The star was the Varqi Paratha - Loved it. It was quite rich with a hint of sweetness and was quite crispy and flakey on the outside.
Must try place for quick bites
With a small and cozy surrounding and the smell of meat being cooked in pure ghee alaalia has lots more to offer. For starters try the kakori and galauti kebabs or mutton tikkas. Though it has a small staff the service is commendable. For mains try the mutton nihaari or the mutton do pyaaza with warkhi parathas. For dessert nothing better than the phirni but its not good sometimes. The food is amazing overall and even though its a branch of Alkauser , it is better than AlKauser!
Nice small affordable place tht serves good food and especially quantity. A great place tp be food packed for home. The kebabs are specially gud but almost everything else is to.

So, this is the first time I had Mutton. And I do not think I will look any further.
The meat is so soft and delicious that it melts in your mouth. Enriched with rich Indian spices.
I had Kakori Kathi Roll in Varqi Parantha and Roomali Roti.
And then, Galauti Kathi Roll in Varqi Parantha.
The Green Chutney that comes with the rolls is fresh and good in taste.
To describe my meal - Heavenly! Unique and Fantastic bread to go with the Kebabs.
Will I go back? Hell, Yeah!

For starters, Alaalia is the not so popular younger brother of the famous al kausars. They share the same menu and at times, the same staff too. However, I'm terms of taste, quality, hospitality, (sitting arrangement(though it's not very fancy) Alaalia is a grade above Al kausar.
The succulent mutton kakori kebabs here are to die for. The mutton tikka, varki paratha, tandoori chicken(though not a favourite) and the fish tikka (only served during the winters) are delightful. Worth regards to their galouti kebabs, they somehow never manage to get the mixture right. So that is a dish one can avoid. My favorite part about the Alaalia experience is that my food is cooked the way I like it. The senior waiter here always asks all his customers how the want their food cooked. For example, my kakoris are always made extremely soft and I like my tikkas are cooked on a slow fire and served without any sort of garnish.
To conclude, everybody who enjoys mughalai food, the Alaalia kausar lovers in particular, must try the Alaalia version of it.
Delectable desi indian Mughalai food ! Look no further for those kebab hunger pangs and cravings.

Home delivery is quick and efficient. Food always arrives in time and piping hot.
While most of their dishes are above average and prepared well, I am mostly loyal to this outlet for their kakori kebab.
Super super succulent, melt in the mouth meat that is enriched with the right amount of indian spices. Team it with varki parantha and its heavenly.
The green chutney that comes with the food is especially very fresh and good to taste.
Verdict : quick bite that is satiating on the palate and not so heavy on the pocket.

02/08/2014 - I've never been to Lucknow or tasted Lucknowi food before ... so I have no benchmark to compare the food at this place. I ordered the Kakori Kebabs, Varqi Paratha and Lucknowi Mutton Dum Handi Biryani. The Kakori Kebabs melted in the mouth and had a very good flavour. The star was the Varqi Paratha - Loved it. It was quite rich with a hint of sweetness and was quite crispy and flakey on the outside.
The Biryani was ok (Not sure if Lucknowi Biryani tastes like this). The quality of rice was very good and had a nice aroma. However, there wasn't much flavour apart from that. The mutton pieces were not great and it seemed the mutton was cooked in the rice itself. There wasn't any spice or flavour to the meat.
Overall, was a good experience. Will definitely go back for the Kakori Kebabs and Varqi Paratha.
This is the place where I started having mutton first. Kakori kebab roll keeps me coming back to this place again and again. The kebabs and tandoori are tender and do taste good. The place is ideal for open roof winter dine out. Still have to try more things on their menu.
9th February 14' The staff at Alkauser was very warm on that freezing evening, as soon as we sat they placed a small Charcoal Angithi Near us to keep us warm. We ordered our regular 1. Mutton Karori Kebab with Warqi Paranthas 2. Mutton Galauti Kebab 3. Mutton Bharra 4. Vegetable Dum Biryani & 5. Chicken Dum Biryani. The food was served Quickly except for the biryanis as they always cook the biryani in earthen handi which imparts as very beautiful flavor to it, though the Raita which they serve along side is a bit poor but the biryani itself is to die for. even for home delivery the biryani is a very good option as they deliver the sealed handi itself.
The Kakori Kebabs were the Star of the evening and the runner up were both the biryanis. for the winter season an evening sit-out dinner at Alkauser is highly recommended.
