Very good restaurant I ordered egg curry it was a bit less spicy but it was awesome in taste. Rumali roti is also cooked very well and it was very soft in taste too.

Its a decent place to have an everyday meal. Food is good n as per ur expectation. Its nothing fancy but it is tasty and you wont be dissapointed in any way. I love the afghani chicken they serve as its moist n creamy which most of the small food joints tend to leave out. So basically u can hangout whenever u r not in a mood to cook..n they will cook it for u!

Very delicious and fast service I love it and very reasonable prices,it's very cheap compare to the other restaurants in the area ,i like the biryani very much.Even I can't finish my plate it too much to eat it one time.

Today me and my friend visited The chef restaurant. Experience was really good. Food quality is good. I tried chef special matki chicken and i must say it was awesome. Thick gravy flooded with chicken pieces in the gravy as well. Service was good. Average ambience. A good place to go on a date.

A decent restaurant located in busy streets of New Ashok Nagar.
Restaurant can be easily located due to their bright sign board in main street of New Ashok Nagar.

Staff is friendly but little slow.

Considering other available options in same area, this restaurant is quite good

The Chef can be considered as one of the most luxurious restaurants in New Ashok Nagar….you can try this.

Food Quality: Taste is good.... They have options in Veg. and Non-Veg. both.

I once visited with my friend; I had Chicken Biryani, Veg. Biryani, Matki Chicken, Malai Tikka, Butter Naan and Laccha Paratha !!!

Very tasty and spicy. I love them all.

Budget: Rs. 500 for 2 persons is more than enough. As I already told that they have plenty of options in Veg and Non-Veg both so you will get enough options to order.

Ambiance: Air-Conditioned, Spacious. All the basic things you will get here. You can book that also for any of your special occasion!!!

Staff Behaviour: OK-OK. Recently I was not happy with their behaviour but they promised me be more friendly so now they are OK.

Not So Good Thing: Staff is slow. But you can wait for a tasty food.

Attentive & obedient waiters,,, nd friendly nd caring owner to the customers make this place special....... I have been availing their service since last five years or even more satisfactorily (Frm their opening, when it was situated just opposite side of this present outlet),,,,,, whether it is home delivery or dine in,,,,since it is nearest to my residence......
Having eventful last night,,,, I awoke today at about 3 PM,,,,,nd started thinking what to do & what to eat......THE CHEF came to mind instantly........ So, I proceeded,,,,, entered into the restaurant after having a beer frm near by govt beer shop......
Ordered 1/2 Lucknowi chicken,, roti nd coke......Chicken was very delicious..... Ingredients like pulled tandoori chicken,,,, khoya,, roasted pistachio & cashew,,, topped with butter nd fresh cream were sufficient to make it real rich nd give a royal feeling....

I almost tried their all non-veg items,,, along with some veg items (in rarest of rare occasion)..... Never found an issue with either taste or quality.....All are delicious......Their achari chicken,,, afgani chicken nd tandoori aloo are among my fav.......
Don't know about you,,,, but this is a MUST STOP for me,,,,I'll avail their service again nd again.....

One of the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavors at chef and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You won't be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet won't be completely empty... take it from me, I'm a student again. I visit when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others.

Located at New Ashok Nagar, this is a modest restaurant where one can find foods at reasonable prices. If you are going with expectation that it is a great restaurant having wonderful ambience and facility then you will be disappointed. Otherwise, it is ok. People normally prefer take away from this restaurant. This restaurant is closer to New Ashok Nagar Metro and can be reached here easily. Taste wise food is good in view of the prices paid..........

This place is a proper restaurant experience. I had dinner here plenty of times. Talking about the taste, it’s better than some nearby places and the price is moderate too. I guess you can book this place for small parties or get together. The uniqueness of this place in new ashok nagar kind of area is that it’s offering a clean experience. Otherwise it would have been just another place to eat.

Food quality is good... The best one at New Ashok Nagar/ near Metro Station/ opposite to EastEnd Apartment...Home delivery also available with minimum Order Value Rs. 200. You can also go for it using Food Panda. Veg combo meal is a good option. Recommended.

Visited this place thrice with friends over lunch. To be honest food is great especially the chicken we ordered so as the rest of vegetarian dishes. Staff is polite and humble. Owner too takes the feedback from customers .

Average place in this locality, but quantity vs price has very much difference. I mean to say budget friendly. Taste is good too, but if you get disappointed, don't loose your cool. No one is going to take you seriously.

Nice place to celebrate birthday. The first floor is very good. Almost 50 people can sit there. Hygenic food. Service is also good.
