This restaurant is a dhaba type with open space in front of it for sitting of 15 - 20 people to dine in. They use to serve both veg & non-veg food items.
This restaurant also has coupon scheme system in which one can become member by paying Rs. 500 which can also be used in coupons of Rs. 125/- each (4 coupons). Suppose if I purchase 1 Kadhai Chicken for Rs. 600/- & u will get one full Kadhai Chicken or Butter Chicken with it by just giving 1 main course coupon with it means each chicken cost I Rs. 300/- only. Similarly u can use all the coupons in Chinese dishes & other food stuffs. They also do free home delivery up to 5 kms..
Seen this outdoor budget restaurant at choti Sabzi Mandi where you find quite a few choices of Indian and Chinese food nearby in a low cost.
Ordered home delivery for veg and non veg thali, order reached to me within 20 minutes. The instructions which were given to restaurant was properly followed during the delivery.
Food was hot and tasty, however the breads were not as expected.
Overall a good experience.
Hot Gravy restaurant is located in janak puri, choti subzi mandi which is quite famous in this market. They offers both veg & non-veg food & Chinese dishes with all the flavours which makes their food delicious. I ordered 1 kadhai chicken from them which they delivered in time. It was very hot & spicy in its taste. It cost me just Rs. 360/- bcoz I'm the member of this restaurant.
In the end I would say that one must try their all dishes to enjoy with ur family & friends......!
Its a nice restaurant with veg & non veg food variety to taste as they r professionals in cooking of all tyoe of stuff with free home delivery & csn become member for iust Rs. 500/- which can be used in coupons & scheme is 1+1 means buy 1 butter chicken full csn 1 with that free for just 600/- means it eill cost u 300/- for 1 chicjen..... wow!!
Perfect place for great food..chicken reshmi kabab is a must try..curry items are equally good..have been ordering a lot for home delivery and enjoying..though the ambience to sit and eat is not that great...
This food outlet name has changed couple of times in past few years. First it was gravey then mantra and now hot gravy. Located in Janakpuri choti sabzi Mandi at very prime location. Small outlet having sitting facilities for around 20 guest at road side in open.
I am a regular customer from many years and have tried their many non veg soups, snacks and main course dishes. Quality of food is Ok. Taste is also good. Service is quick, perfect packing and prices are reasonable. Now they have setup for Shawarmas rolls and momos. Street food style shawarma is fine in taste and I really liked their Saste momos.
I recommend this for tawa and handi chicken gravey food items.

Ok, right of the bat I'd like to say that in the month of August 2015, a sales person came to my house and sold a booklet of discount / freebie coupons for Rs. 500 and I've been redeeming them since then.
For those people who think this review could be biased, please ask yourselves one thing - how many times have you redeemed your discount coupons at restaurants serving bad food?? I've redeemed more than 8-10 coupons. So, you can infer whatever you want from that.

Ambiance - it has a open setting with 3-4 plastic tables & chairs. I've ordered for home delivery more often than visiting restaurant. In Winters, you should enjoy the hot & tasty food at the outlet. In summers - not so much.
Food -
Vegetarian - I've had nearly all the Veg main dishes.. They all taste good,not extraordinary. My staple order - Malai Kofta & Paneer Butter Masala with Rumalis. Also tried Dal Makhni, Kadai Paneer, Paneer Lajawab, Aloo matar etc. You've to consider the price - quality criteria also. For the given price, the quality is more than satisfactory.
There are very less vegetarian snacks. Malai Paneer Tikka is good. Rest you can give a miss.
Non Veg -
Butter chicken - Typical tangy red gravy and chicken - your discretion.
Rara Chicken & Murg Lababdar - Superb & Spicy dishes. Satisfies all 3 checks - price - volume - taste. Definitely worth it. More than enough for 3 good voluminous foodies.
Afghani Chicken - nicely done. Cream was a touch less in quantity. Nevertheless, tasted good. Even if you couldn't complete it, you can save it in fridge for the next day and heat it in an oven and enjoy... It'll still be delicious.
They had earlier real "Handi" biryani delivered to home in small pots. Both Veg and Non Veg. Currently, they don't. So please see to it.
Chinese items are also good. We ordered Veg Hakka Noodles, Chilly Garlic Fried Rice & Veg Manchurian. Spicy and loved it.
Home Delivery Service - Nice and prompt. Courteously attend the calls, listens to order, and will satisfy your request for extra chutney or onions etc.
So, finally - Definitely a decent outlet for all kinds of food.
