A famous place for desi ghee preparation specialy poori and sweets They prepare unique sweets .we love to visit this place for thali a d poori chole on holidays.
Well this one is located on the main road from ashok vihar on the red light of wazirpur food is ok thali is ok overall ok experience good option for lunch
We bought pakoras and chole Puris from here...
The pakoras were double fried and super crisp. But a little bland. They used to be super yum a long time ago.
The samosas are fresh and so yummy.
I have been coming here since i can remember my senses, the chole puri they serve are close to how they make in amritsar, if you are foodie and been to amritsar you know how good this place serves the chole puri.
They serve chole puri with alloo ki subzi, loved how puri was perfectly fried and perfectly shaped.
They also serve their pyaaz with kachalu ki sabzi which is complementary.I m trying to stay healthy but couldn’t resist their suji ka halwa and gulab jamun, their sweets are out of the world.
The place is bit old school but you enjoy these kind of food like this only.

A very good preparation of food . Ordered a double aloo puri just a trail basis but found it amazing in taste.. looking forward some other orders from meghraj food court.. keep up the good work

I have visited this restaurant many times but here's Poori plate is my all time favourite.. and salad is awesome.. I think it's best restaurant of area.

Its a good place for Punjabi Puri lovers the kachaloo achar and pyaz make the taste very good. The sitting is not very much good it's ok ok . and you must ask him to make Puri crispy before ordering.
Must visit place for Punjabi poori lovers.. The chhole and kachalu achhar along with aloo sabji makes one enjoy pure Punjabi taste in Delhi..!!
Tip: Visit early to avoid traffic :) and don't mistake it for Meghraj Sweets which is on opposite road!
Puri Aloo-chole is it's specialty. Nice place for breakfast. The best thing is it's achar (pickle).
The other options on the menu aren't so special.
The place is not very hygienic as it is situated in the middle of an Industrial Area.
Meghraj is situated at first traffic signal coming from either ring road or from deep, Ashok Vihar. It serves tasty Desi ghee poori. Seating is limited but decent. Cooler works well. Lassi is good as well.

One of the best places in the area for a great punjabi breakfast meal. Have tried their cholle bhature and their cholle Puri which is their main item for breakfast.

The quantity is good and the food is served nearly taking care of the hygiene.
This place is Best known for their kaju katli. I didn't try any other sweets there. For me kaju katli is meghraj's kaju katli. Original and pure taste. I once try their paneer pakoda which was average in taste.
Thali is cheap and good for try once.

this place earlier known as meghraj sweets was shut down few months back but now it has opened a new shop with this new name exactly opposite the original shop.
they have retained their age old heritage of taste and quality.
although new space has some constraints in terms of space and staff.
but taste is still superb
they have changed from bedmi puris to simple ones...their choley still are delicious but aloo subji has lost its taste quite a bit.
overall, an awesome place for enjoying a great breakfast!!!
ALSO, their lassi is fabulous.. perfect fit with puris :)
This place...hmm..been hogging at this place for every sunday breakfast..since my childhood...recently they had a split up..and the shop was closed for like a year or so..nd me,my family and relatives were like..when will it come up again...and when it came..they were not able to retain the old taste of there aloo poori...but as time went..and they are back on track and so do i...bet me u cannot have a proper punjabi poori aloo traditional north indian..taste like they have...my personal reccomendation would be to try this place once..nd try to go on sat sun or on public holidays...reason being the halwai are in full form..!!!

Aloo Poori n Choley!! Acc to me this is one of the best Breakfasts which is enjoyed by many people in North India. Not many make it better than Meghraj n if you are not aware of the name then you hav been missin out on something till now!
This place makes it to my Dilli food darshan list. Meghraj sweets still exists n earlier used it was one shop located on the right side road of Wazirpur industrial area if you are coming grom Ashok vihar but after a sort of division between the family they opened a new shop with a new name. Some people recommended to eat here as it had the same taste n recipe as before n they were bang on...
Shop description: The old shop used to look little unhygienic & I never preferred to eat there & took takeaways which most of people still do but this one is little better & seating is still decent but again focus on cleanliness was not visible on staff's part. The Pooris are prepared in the open which they should look to change.
A plate costs ₹ 50 & is worth every rupee spent. You get two deep fried nice Pooris prepared in desi ghee, a very nicely spiced chick peas masala curry, & an equally good tomato turmeric etc based Potato veggie. Onions, gourd n lip smacking kachaloo pickles are served as accompaniments.
Taste was brilliant & typical desi yet of nice quality. Lassis are also worth trying but they have refrigerated one's but tasted sweet & had dollops of nice malai:)
The rawa n white flour halwa too was decent but very oily.
If you are fond of this kind of breakfast or meal, then do visit Meghraj food court(don't know why they call it a food court) for sure. It is any day better than Bille di hatti, Standard n even Megraj chandni chowk for that matter.They also make many sweets & snacks but Poori aloo is the bread winner for them:)
Poori chole is the winner along with aachar.Halwa is also amazing, the type you only get a special place in Jammu city.
Food is quite delicious but service needs improvement especially in packing and handling..
I must say the place is worth to visit atleast for once to relish ur taste buds with poori-chole and aalo ki sabji prepared completely in desi ghee..
