Being Maharashtra government employee, got the suite at discounted price. The rooms are awesome. As good as any 4 star hotel. Service is also very nice.
Even though it is a government property, hospitality is very nice. You may find difficult to reserve room due to rush but if you keep follow up, you definitely get one.
Best part here is the dining. You get almost all Maharashtrian and North Indian items. Both veg and non veg. Prices are reasonable and quality is top.

Last month I went to Delhi on official work and stayed at the New Maharashtra Sadan and it was a good experience to get service of this hotel.
The most beautiful experience was the staff behaviour and helpful nature, the food also awesome.
I will plan again in Future when I will go to Delhi..

Even if you are not staying here, you can go inside saying you want to go to the canteen.
If you are Maharashtrian then it makes it very easy to access.
Also it is situated at very nice area. India gate is hardly 5-10 mins walking from there.
If you visit delhi, this is a must try place. Room booking rates etc are available on website.
The New Maharashtra Sadan is very grand. The architecture displays the culture of Maharashtra. It's very clean and well maintained.
You would require a Maharashtra ID card to enter. Even if you want to visit the canteen only. I think it's an added advantage if you can speak Marathi.
The canteen here serves authentic Maharashtrian dishes. This is the best of Maharashtrian food you can get in North India.
