Best mutton nahari in town!!
It’s a hidden gem I must say. They have probably the best Mutton Nihari preparation in Delhi. I have tried that dish at more famous restaurants in the walled city but this is a class apart. Other dishes are also delectable.
It has the authentic taste of mughlai Nihari. However, the seating arrangements should be improved. Not very comfortable if going with your family
This resturant have good quality of food and test too. You test all item. Specially palak paneer is quit good. I love this place for only palak paneer
Once while passing through.. u won’t find like going there.. but trust me! Give it a chance!!

I have been visiting the place for nearly 20 years now..unfortunately they do not serve gurda kaleji anymore but i am a thorough fan of their mutton quorma and nehari..never had better. Period. The taste never varies. The spices are mild but one can actually taste each ingredient. Chicken and veg dishes can be given a miss but no one serves better mutton. Way better than the more hyped al jawahar's and the karim's.
Whenever m upset my mom used to order my favorite my nihari from this restro.

Chicken korma was sweet n taste was not good at all but their mutton nihari was mind blowing n their rotis was also tasty n quite different things n crispy.

Mutton Korma and dal makhni was average and mutton nihari was sooo wonderful, the flavours are also absolutely none compared with my previous experience it's all about their special ingredients and perfect cooking techniques.

We visited moonis kada last night n trust me their mutton nihari was superb.
Had a fantastic night, the staff was wonderful and very helpful.
We enjoyed lovely mutton korma n mutton nihari and tandoori roti n we also told them to pack 2 plates mutton nihari as it was amazing trust me i never had such nihari before.

Ultimate mutton Nehari in the price and a must try dish is butter roasted chicken. Fab taste. The service is quite good and do as for the mint sauce as it is a unique sauce they give on demand only.
Moonis kada is one of oldest place to have quality food in locality. At once time it was a restaurant for selected people only in area because of a bit expensive menu. But now days so many more options are available. Moonis kada still keeps it's charm with mutton nihari. People still love to come here including me.

One of the oldest restaurants in batla house. Place is a lil small. But food is quite good and budget friendly
Reached at about 10.30 pm when everything closes down in Batla House. They had Qorma, Kadhai Chicken and Dahi Chicken left. We ordered Kadhai chicken, quarter has three pieces and all of them were good. The kadhai was delicious and was served with fresh tandoori roti from the oven. Totally satisfactory.

Most overrated restaurant in the areas. There are many restaurants in jamia nagar which are far better than this. Not maintaining hygiene here at all.
Moonis Kada is one of the best Non Veg restaurants located in Batla House (Jamia Nagar) area. Mutton Korma is yummier than other dishes, but all the dishes are mouthwatering. The only problem is that the seating area is too short so usually you will have to wait here. And the second problem is that if you get let to reach there then you will get nothing because the dishes are cooked less in quantity.

Who ever studied in JMI must have visited here. Akhtar sahab has maintained the quality of food. Also their kayak style steel bowl for curry serving is not been changed. Kadhai gosht is still the same as it use to be 28 years back. I love to be here when ever I get the time. Here's famous dalicacies are, Mutton Kadhai Gosht, Mutton Nahari, Quorma & Dal Makhni. These are some most tasty food they serve but trust me, you order anything, you will get your taste buds alive.
The most cleanest,tastiest and decent food is served by moonis kada.One of the very few restaurants in Jamia nagar where you can have mutton Nihari. The food is decent in the sense it is perfect(Not spicy and masaledar) like other restaurants.It can then too compete with all other restaurants in food.
Monis Kada, An old hotel, located near Aggarwal sweets in Batla house at batla house chowk. This hotel was very famous for palak paneer, rajma, daal makhni, and chicken and mutton items. The hotel attracts a trendy crowd from students to general public. This hotel does not have good space, the space is very less. There are only 6 to 7 tables available. The food is very tasty.
In the area of batla house this place is quite attractive for non veg lovers especially with spicy tangy flavours, different varieties of mutton, beef, chicken, grilled, tandoori, with tangy Cury sauces
