This was my first time going to a PVR multiplex, and I would say it didn't disappoint.
*Unfortunately the Audi we had gotten was a bit small, with not much rows.
*The screen was normal sized, nothing too fancy.
*The sound quality was okay as well. We didn't go for a blockbuster, IMAX level movie. Thus I cannot comment much on the full potential of the theatre.
*As goes with every PVR multiplex, the confectionary prices were exorbitant, but I guess that's how they make their money.
* One awesome thing was the ticket prices. We booked the tickets at Rs 200 (even goes down till Rs 170), which in my opinion is reasonably priced compared to the other PVR's all over Delhi.
*The interior was aesthetically designed and had good ambient lighting.
*The location is a bit confusing. If you follow Google maps you might get there, but if not its kind of hidden from plain sight and you got to really look for it (as it is not inside a mall)
Overall we had a pretty good experience, and I would recommend it if you want to have a nice and relaxing weekend.
(P.S- We went for the movie 'Neru'-Malayalam.)
What a beautiful theatre π and good environment also. You must go and try atleast one time.
Parking Experience:
During the ticket collection process at PVR Naraina, it's noteworthy that the parking fee is charged on the spot. For those in a hurry, it's essential to be mindful of this payment requirement. Additionally, in situations where a significant number of bikes are parked simultaneously, ticket collectors may request keeping two vehicles unlocked to facilitate the movement of one vehicle, allowing others to exit smoothly..
Theater Experience:
The waiting lounge provided limited seating, accommodating only 2 or 3 individuals at maximum, situated behind the entrance. The cinema screen, though initially perceived as slightly elevated from the conventional height, became less bothersome over time, eventually fading into the background as I immersed myself in the movie.
Nice seating. Elevated screen which you can watch straight while reclined. No issues from a big height co-viewer in rows in the front. Small lounge but good. Recommended.
I usually go there, nice ambience. Clean n hygienic washrooms. The highlight is their friendly n helping staff. Comfortable seats. Price of tickets is also budget friendly. They offer variety of combos n food is also tasty.
Theater was good, seatings were best , but when you are going to watch 3D check the glasses before going inside there will be lot scratches.
And yes parking is available.
Compare to other PVR s this one's price was quite less. Because of limited seats or what I don't know
PVR Naraina in Delhi is a prime entertainment choice for college students residing near Satyaniketan or South Campus. Conveniently located, it offers a diverse selection of films catering to varied tastes. The cinema's modern facilities and comfortable seating enhance the overall viewing experience. For budget-conscious students, PVR Naraina often provides student discounts, making it an affordable option for regular moviegoers. The proximity to popular student areas adds to its appeal, saving time on commuting. The snack options are standard, though prices can be slightly steep. Despite occasional crowded screenings, especially during peak hours, PVR Naraina remains a go-to destination for students seeking quality entertainment in a well-connected location.
Went there last week to watch Oppenheimer. Overall everything was good. There was proper hygiene and sanitation facilities. The staff was well behaved. The screen size is little bit smaller than other PVRs. Sound quality was okay. In short, it was a delightful experience π―
My favourite multiplex, not only because it is close to my place but also because their AUDIs are comfortable, big, and pretty amazing. I've watched movies in this PVR for a lot many years now and have enjoyed each show thoroughly.
The location is nice, and I like their different AUDIs as well although AUDI 2 and 3 are pretty small in size. Ticket prices aren't really cheap but then again, almost all multiplexes are way overpriced these days. Sad, but that's how it.
Update: April, 2022. Even after the pandemic, PVR Naraina remains a wonderful multiplex to go catch a movie in! π€
Edit: Wonderful experience, overall, even in 2023 Sept.
It's a good cinema hall but the sound needs to be more clear
The ambiance was great , the AC was a little less powerful and the food is as usual overpriced. All in all just like another PVR across Delhi. π
Always loved this theatre....since last 15 years they haven't break their rule of starting the movie only after 15 - 20 min. From it's scheduled time. Thats great for us so we can come late but still will not miss.
PVR Naraina is a good choice for the movies as the tickets are affordable and the seats are roomy too. I've been to many theatres but this one gives you ample leg space, at least that was the case in the upper three rows where I was seated. The screen is big, the sound quality is good, the seats are comfy, so overall, I'd say, money spent well.
