Wtf is this? Where the hell we are going? … I was told I was getting my “food” Doesn’t look like I’m getting my dinner any time soon …was my reaction when I was first introduced to the Agapé Café and Lounge. And then! Whew!!! I was totally gob smacked when I entered the café. It is so beautiful inside. It is a hidden gem of a place. A kind of a best kept secret…
5 reasons I frequent AGAPÉ
1. Ambiance: All I wanted was to click selfies…All these pictures are going to my instagram feed. Wait a minute! I don’t have an insta account…whatever! Back to subject. The café strikes a balance with soft lighting that is soothing but bright enough to see what you are eating. Seating arrangement is unpretentious, comfy, and varied with enough space for you to shake a leg. Even when crowded & with loud music playing, the place has a Zen like feel to it. And you might always see a younger crowd been seated...
2. Food: Food is the essence of any restaurant and Agapé wins hands down for me. I have been to this place several times in this short period that it’s opened and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing… tasty, delicious, lip smacking and very very reasonable. Quantity is very generous. Their rice beer is to die for.

3. Service: The service is good & hosts pleasant. Everything arrives on time and is served with a smile. It all comes back to the basics. Serve customers the best-tasting food at a good value in a clean, comfortable restaurant, and they'll keep coming back.
4. Value for money: The portion sizes are really generous. Once I had ordered Kashmiri fish for two people. The portion was good for four and was at a fraction of the price. Of course, we two couldn't finish it, so they packed it for us. Overall great returns for the price you pay. Though, I wouldn’t mind paying thrice of what they charge, as it's really cheap for the taste they offer!
5. Music: Good contemporary English music is played. Here the guests could listen to their own playlists on the café’s music system. Food of my choice plus music of my choice... What could be better!!!
It is a real treat for all the senses. I would suggest to never miss this place if you are hungry; or need to be comforted; or gossip with friends; or even when need to be alone.
These days, I just take my uninitiated friends over there and preen when they are wowing over my find.
J.R.R. Tolkien said “If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” I feel the owners of this café belong to the secret Tolkien cult.

A place where you can visit with your loved ones, a place where you feel more connected with your loved ones, a place where food adds a tempt flavor in your mouth, a place where music is also just perfect... One should definitely visit here but only with their loved ones... :)

Great service and great food. Rice beer is 10/10. The owner will greet you with the biggest smile and the servers will genuinely cater to your requests. Definitely a must visit.

First time i was here i was totally awestruck because of the beautifully done ambience although it can get better and when it comes to food i am very specific and particular about it i would highly recommend pork chilly noodles and tried momos(chicken) for the first time and i enjoyed it and Elcee always gets my honest feedback on the good and bad food so overall i enjoy coming here.

All the good reviews that I have read about this restaurant are true. The friendliness of the staff seems genuine. I have never seen such good customer service as I experienced.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special drinks, the chicken deep fried and chengkol were just YUMMY!!!
Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices.
To sum it up i would say yet again its a hugeee lovely restaurant, the atmosphere, the space, the interiors, oh yeah and the big screen where you can watch evrything LIVE (of your own choice which is the best part :-) definitely hope to go back....
This place is so underrated. Best food in all of Safdarjung, no, one of the best places to eat in Delhi. Make sure you try their hot wings. Great ambiance, great staff. 5*
Well about Agape- as name means wonder & surprise, my frnd recommended me this place, the feeling inside Agape is very different, sitting is very trendy feeling of tibetan and korean touch, food is delicious, gud for couples, ambience is unique a hidden perfect spot for friends n lovers in Safdarjung enclave a must visit for a different experience.
It was diwali and i had to had to eat something good and was craving badly for northeastern food. My first visit to tgis restaurant and ordered pork with axone and chicken thali. Amazing food... loved it and worth the vist. #awesomefood #awesomeporkwith axone...Rice beer was another plus point. M definitely coming back for more, definitely will recommend to all... awesome experience.

Good food good ambience . Really liked the Pork with snails and buff intestine.These two dishes will be on my list to order anytime :) Will definitely try other items also in the days to come .
Great place to go with fam and friends. Very aestheic place. Serve hookah as well. Have reasonable cost as well. Their lamb noodles are to die for.

came across this place from google. I've tried food from mostly all restaurants in Safdarjung, there are few I have to explore, but so far, this place has the best ambience- of all the places I hv visited. I started off by ordering the local rice beer... my my it was great, though you don't get tipsy or high unlike back home. They had "chengkol/snail/tharoi, Buff Thali, buff innards etc" as one of the special for that day.... it dint take me a sec to decide. N it wasn't disappointing at all... It reminded me of my moms way of cooking tharoi. I just LOVED it.... then came my dinner, ordered buff thali. Trust me, I have never had such an amazing buff in Delhi... tried a lot of food joint for buff but all had a peculiar smell and I hated it and have even stopped ordering. But from the way tharoi was prepared, I had this feeling, that the buff may be good and its been months since I had buff. So I took the chance, and oh m g.... it was so homely... I literally asked the owner where the chef was from.
If you miss home food, do visit this place and definitely try their buff thali... From rice to ooti to chutney to kangshoi to buff... nothing disappointed me... definitely coming back

I really enjoy going to Agape. It's a lovely place to be. The food great. Its really big and spacious. The interior is very well done. The service is nice. The music tracks are cool.
never thought there's this amazing hide out in safdarjung where i can enjoy gud food and a cozy environment...the seating was really out of this world ...we sat there till late nyt and didnt feel like going back home... the best part was the live sports...luved the naga dishes that we tried there....was really amazing ...and more tastefull than the other restaurants in the locality...luved this place...kudos to the guys....seemed like we were in hauz khas village

I was taken a back the moment I walked in to this cafe! I thought it would be the usual table and chair we see everywhere, but to my surprise, I m just in awe of the seating. It's so comfortable n you feel home seating on d floor free a relaxed! Love the lights, the interior! It would be great if @agapecafenlounge start streaming live matches. This place is so amazing that one doesn't need a silver fork to eat the food well. It is all well and will always be. In this type of places one need not require a fancy or complicated masterpieces, its just the good food which they made from fresh ingredients.
" If you are craving for home food n low on budget, this is the place to escape! I was craving for gotoi mepoh ( it's a local dish cooked with rice, fresh bamboo sprouts) and the chef readily prepared n it was excellent! I had it with buff innards, its 10/10. I will come back for more .😇
I am in love with this place....it was amazing..the way the whole place has been set up and the food was yumm...you should try chicken chowmein...it reminda me of my hometown...I give u 5stars for the amazing food..place and hospitality😙😙😙😙😙
Needless to say, the food like Terry said, was just absofreakinglutely amazing. I love everything that was ordered today. (If onlyI had the pics). We ordered pork dry fry, buff innards, periwinkle, pork thali and rice beer.... I had Rice beer for the first time, and damn!it was bang on so good! I doubt if anybody would have ordered RICE BEER as much as we had them pour the-never-ending pitchers of rice beer. I definitely recommend their RICE BEER! Trust me you will love it!
I hear the owner telling us they would be streaming live upcoming football (Europe Premiere League) match through a projector, now thats definitely on my list!!! I would recommend @agapecafenlounge to start a gig night or perhaps a karaoke night... I give 10/10 to everything.... All the best team Agape
If only Zomato had more stars, i would give all the stars to this restaurant! I, along with 4 of my other frens had an amazing time and and oh-so-freaking-awesome moment with Agape.... The food was freaking awesome, The service was quick, and oh! the ambience is THE BEST in SAFDARJUNG!!!... I had their buff innards, and chengkol (periwinkle/snail) with Pork Thali.... I have no complaint whatsoever. It was just so homely, food was totally kickass... Agape nailed it! Their rice beer is just AWESOME!!! I would definitely recommend to my frens and hell yea, I am so gonna be your regular customer ;)

The very first time I visited this place I was impressed with the food and the interior. After being to a lot of places and exploring I found a homely yet cool place to spend your evening. Along with it I would definitely like to mention the behaviour of the Crue is extremely satisfactory which will let you come over and over. Worth for money and your precious time. Awesome.

First of all, I'm so in love with Agape Cafe & Lounge :) The decor is just beautiful and perfect for photo sessions haha. Secondly, the food there is so tasty. If you miss home go visit Agape Cafe. We ordered pork,buff innards and chengkol. You should also try their rice beer. The people there are kind and sweet. I am gonna visit again soon.

One amazing place for a start up... had Fish thali and the Really Special RICE WINE..!! 😊 Amazing for the first time... and food was exceptional too... momos were freshly made and people at service are chirpy and friendly... Dim romantic einstien lights make you feel the more romantic... there are corners and places inside to escape into solace or just sit around with friends near window spending an urban evening... ❤❤

It was about 3 AM in the morning when we were looking for a place to dine in to have something to eat in Delhi. We came across this place which was really amazing and serving authentic Tibetan food in Delhi and remains open until 4 AM in the morning. We tried their Vegetarian thukpa and chicken momos. My friend told me that momos were really good and I can definitely say it for vegetarian thukpa too. It was a really good encounter and I loved their hospitality and food quality. It was an amazing experience to keep bragging about. Keep up the good work.
One of the coolest cafés in the area with minimalistic decor and raised platforms to seat on. Rice beer is heavenly. In fact, all their food items are undoubtedly awesome. Gather around with your friends for a weekend rendezvous.

Quite a neat surprise, heading into the lane and climbing to the first floor, Agape is neat, simple and earnest. The menu is not traditionally set but is still delicious and value for money . The service however is slow and the food may take time to be prepped. Unfortunately the service kept telling us about lack of availability of few things we wanted to order, but will definitely give the place another shot. The sitting is Orient traditional.
The crowd & ambience is by the people not some design centric high end club. You can talk,dance eat & enjoy the lively feel here,though I missed the band performance,still enjoyed every bit of it.
Absolutely love this place. Discovered it about a year ago in Safdarjung area, and haven't stopped going there since. The rice wine here is probably the best served in Delhi, and as a bonus is always available. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Would strongly recommend this place for dinners, a simple coffee or even an event.
Great for nightouts. Open till 6 am. this is the best place to chill at night in delhi. Food is amazing n the ambience of the place is really good. They have karaoke n gr8 music. In short the perfect place to hangout in green park area.

The best decor and food I ever experienced in whole of Delhi.... Owners r so friendly, welcoming n warm. Best part is they have karaoke, and are open till 5am.

Nice after party kind of area. People start comming in from 11:30. Mostly naga kind of restaurant. Veg People should not come coz no food option for them(a veg person knows the struggle). Rice beer is available (the only reason I went there).
Perfect place for families and friends. Although the place can be a bit congested. Food is great. Customer service is really below average. Location : it's quite a bit inside humayunpur locality in safdarjung. One plus point is that there are many clothes shop around the same place.
It's no more called agape .... It's a Tibetan theme now.
