On the main road of PVR, i am giving 4 stars only for its dosa, very tasty . Ambience is just like normal eatery shop but vada and dosa must try for original taste.
This was a total wait for me to get listed in zomato.
They only have noodles and south indian but both are beyond expectation from such a small hut.
Do try their hakka noodle and mysore dosa anytime which will not dissapoint you all.
Also amazing part of this joint is its really cheap and they cook in front of you which you can monitor on hygiene basis.
Go for this for a try and you will not be dissapointer.

I visited there many items because they have the best south Indian food in the town specially the sambar they provide is so delicious. They also provide some chinese food too. But the dosa , idly they have are very good in quality and taste.
This is the best place to eat South Indian 🍴food.. It has best in class South Indian food the sambar is also very tasty here. Dosa is also very good in taste and they also have some Chinese items.... The one drawback is they don't have enough space for dinein comfortably.

This is my go-to place to pick up south Indian food on my way home. My favorite dish here is the onion plain dosa. Also, apart from the usual vada and idli, we love their dal-vada. A no-frills place which serves good south Indian food at throw away prices.
The variety of food is good here. The dishes are a bit on the expensive side. Quality of food varies a lot here (For EX:- Vada on some days maybe crispy and on others maybe soggy). The best time to come here is for breakfast when everything is freshly made.

We ordered a plate of veg chowmien and it was really good......I didn't expected a South Indian cafe to have such good chowmien. Then we ordered sambar vada And idli sambar they were good but the sambar was a little extra spicy. The place is not much spacious but the food is good.
Food is tasty, rates are competitive and service is great. Tried masala dosa, rawa masala dosa and idli sambhar.
Definitely order and try food again.

This outlet is located in the midst of a bunch of eateries opposite to the Axis bank. There is always rush at the place so you can't miss spotting it. I have been coming here for years to soothe my South Indian food cravings. It's among my family favourites too.
The seating of place is small but decent enough. Some of you might feel it's congested though. They serve finger licking good #Dosas, #Idly, #Uttappam, and #Vada. There are numerous varieties available for every one of them, but I prefer #Butter masala dosa, #Onion uttappam, #Idly sambhar, #Upma and #Dal Vada. There are few dishes with paneer available too like Dosa, but honestly I don't understand the obsession to mix Panner with everything. I like the South Indian food in a pure unadulterated way like it was supposed to be consumed. They serve #Chowmein varieties too, but it's just decent nothing too special about it.
The food quantity served is ample and filling. Prices are pretty decent and competition I would say. Cost for two comes to just around 400 bucks. The sambhar and chutney served is extremely delicious and yeah they serve them to you again if you wish to.
P.S.-Ask them for red chutney they serve along with #Dosa, #Idli, and #Uttappam. It really enhances the taste of the food. And yeah if you visit late the chutney won't taste as good, it being the leftover of the bottom of container.
The service deserves a special mention as the staff is extremely courteous and humble. They make you feel special by constantly checking on you in fixed intervals if you require something further to order, or if any additional sambhar or chutney is required. Food is served to your table at a brisk pace once you order. The place overall is clean, although the hygiene of cooking area could be improved quite a bit.

The outlet is RECOMMENDED for south Indian food cravings for people in Vikaspuri, Janakpuri and it's vicinity. But it's not too special a place worth a long drive.

Since childhood this has been my favourite place for South Indian cuisine.
As kids we used to enjoy dinning out here. Preferences changed as a grown up so ordered veg chilli garlic chowmin and idlis for lunch today.

Nice place food was too good .. I tried paneer Dosa .. served with sambhar and coconut chutney ... and it was too good ... They have sitting arrangement but it was a bit congested .. but no complaint about south Indian food .. If you are nearby you can give it a try.

This 12 year old shop in vikaspuri serves some delicious south indian food.
From the things i ordered, i liked the veg noodles which was spiced according to my taste. Also i had the vada sambar which was served hot and with thick and tasty coconut chutney.
Its a place which i visit quite often. the quantity offered is apt and the quality served is good.
You can ask for chutney and sambhar n number of times and staff is polite too.
There are 2 or 3 good outlets offering south indian in vikas puri and this is one of them...

The one n only south Indian joint in Vikas Puri AG1.... It's really old n nice !! The food is good and yumnm.... service is slow and hygiene can be problem for some...
so came from college thing to have something stomach filling so after regularly eating chineese and itailain thaught of having something different. as i was passing through by this place i thaught to have a dosa. so visited this place and had my lunch. the masala dosa was so good that i ate more than my want. so nice place to eat south indian ,authentic south indian taste
crowded all the time. better to ask for take away as the place is not clean to sit. plus it is open with just fans so it becomes hell in summers. food is fine and reasonable with the price tag. dosu and veg chowmein are good though.
this place is totally affordable and 2 people can eat in 100 bucks.
tip: this area is near a t point and is highly conjusted with traffic and parking is a Menace.

South Indian Cafe is a great place for south indian food. the owners the staff and the cook are all south indians,so the taste is guranteed south...the restraunt has been in vikaspuri since ages...i have been a regular customer since long long time and have never had any complaints.....the chowmin they make is better than many chinese food outlets....he dosas the vadas, dal vadas, idli are all great...the nariyal chutney is too good.

Not expensive at all.. it's a decent place where there is a lot of customer footfall and you get very good vibes when enjoying meal with your family. The food is good for sure.. they serve you with the order in like few minutes. The cashier and the most of the staff are South Indian and great in hospitality. Not a place to flaunt on social media but a decent place to dine in.
The parking is a bit issue.. there is no designated parking. Your luck finds u the place on road to park your vehicle.
Since 16 or 17 years we are tasting the mouth watering masala dosa here.not only masala dosa but also, chowmin,idli,vada at a very reasonable price.earlier it was a very small cafe but now few years back it becomes more spacious, you can dine with your family and friends. we liked the nariyal chutney n sambhar very much.you can again n again.timely they are introducing new new items like recently they were offering dhokla idli.so it's opp to shyam store.if you are here near by do try the south indian food.

Good quality food with striking fast service. The only problem is size and furniture of the cafe. It is extremely small and waiters bump into you while moving. The tables are very compact and one can't sit comfortably.
