Shish Shawarma.Located in the community centre of New Friends colony, this is a very small outlet serving some scrumptious lebanese cuisine, with shawarmas and manakeesh being their USP. Just outside the outlet, you"ll find tables and chairs to dine in. As the outlet being small, the seating is outside the restaurant. Serving some mouthwatering delicacies at such a reasonable rate, Starting from shawarmas to laban, they have exciting lebanese delicacies. Having an approximate APC of 200 bucks, people can surely enjoy and give a try to delectable lebanese delicacies.Coming to the point, we tried manakeesh, Manakeesh is basically a dish consisting of thyme, cheese or ground meat topped on a flat piece of dough, similar to a pizza.
We tried Manakeesh Zattar and Manakeesh Meat & Cheese. Meat used was mutton keema and the crispyness of dough and tenderness of meat paired so well, Zattar is basically a grounded mixture of herbs, such as thyme, oregano and sesame seeds, and the authentic taste of zattar was there.
WE would recommend this restaurant for trying some authentic Lebanese delicacies.
Head to the community centre of NFC and you"ll find this shop.

Great Non Veg salad without breaking your bank. Loaded with chicken and Fresh & crisp veggies. Mouth Watering mayonnaise. Go ahead and ask for the Hummus dip too. Goes well with the salad.

I had their exotic veggies shawarma for two meals in a row, and both times with different friends who loved the food too.
The hummus of this place is very smooth, with just the right hint of tahini sourness. Pita is always soft and vegetables are loaded (no holding back there). The Manakeesh is a bit confusing, won't recommend that one.
When looking for a light and filling meal, substitute a roll with a shawarma.
I had fattoush And shish kabab. I loved fattoush a tasty healthy dish while shish kabab was succulent as it should be with hummus was delicious too. I would recommend take aways as sitting is not proper .
I order almost thrice a week, though i like their salads too but i prefer basic shish shawarma, i love it. Not very spicy well cooked chicken well stuffed and great sauces rolled in a pita bread. I recommend it to everyone. Also not very expensive considering the quality and serving.
I have known Shish Shawarma since it opened. The food is excellent and affordable. It is healthy too. The staff is friendly and professional. Their Exotic Shish Salad is great. Their hummus and garlic sauce are exceptionally healthy.
I have ordered food from this restaurant several times. My favourite has always been the Hummus Shawarma and the chicken Shawarma. I also like the red fermented beetroot which I dont know what it is called. the sour cream and hummus are the best you can find in this range!

Their Shawarma is their USP. The filling is good and enough to make your stomach happy. Though the bread could be better and softer and the filings could be finely chopped.
I have been here multiple times. An Awesome staff, they respect and respond customers nicely. Good team work. Zomata are lucky to have them on board. Must order from here, get original taste of shish shawarma and good veg and non veg salads. 5 🌟.

Authentic shawarma is hard to find in Delhi. Their hummus is also quite good and you can even buy it separately which makes it a great dip to keep at home.
This is by far my favorite place to order when the day has been excruciating and there is really no energy to eat. The fries are crisp and golden everytime and the mutton seekhs are quite well done. Can't say about ambiance as I have only ordered home delivery.

1 medium fries

Food was good. It was delivered on time too. But the only shortcoming was that in the Hummus shawarma dish, the quantity of pita bread was not sufficient. There should have been 6 pieces instead of 4.
My friend forced me to visit this place. May be I sound stupid but I really don't like lebenese cousin though I like the shawarma. Staffs are polite. They have small sitting arrangements. It's not expensive as well and quantity of the food is okay. You should go and try out this place. 👍

I love Shawarma. But shawarma these days is nothing but a chicken roll with pathetic mayonnaise dressing. I was looking for the real one.
The only place to look for that came to mind was New Friends Colony- the official shawarma hub of Delhi. I checked out some joints carefully ignoring the overrated Al bake.
And finally I found Shish Shawarma. Read somebody's review who was looking out for authentic shawarmas just like myself and loved the ones from this outlet. So I took the bait.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma. What a delight it was! Fresh, juicy chicken chunks; nice and fresh lettuce and greens with a delicious sauce inside. It was awesome. The shawarma roll also had a distinct Middle Eastern cuisine taste. Tasted very very authentic and original, unlike none I've had recently. Came with pickled beets and a delicious hummus in a small container.
I was totally satisfied! And the price was 147 with taxes. Totally worth the amount and that too home delivered- very speedily at that. Couldn't ask for more.
Will repeat ordering from here and also try other items on their menu, to get that authentic Middle Eastern, Lebanese taste.

there's one cry of every gulf NRI that shwarma in India aren't the authentic ones. but this is that one place which will give you actual shwarma as how shwarma is! along with the authenticity it will maintain the flavor which Indian taste buds crave for. it's definitely a try!
Shish Shawarma is a one stop shop for Lebanese and Arabian rolls and wraps.
I tried out chicken Shawarma combo which was served with pickes, hummus, mayo, fries and coke. The taste was exquisite, and services was very good. I got the roll within 5 minutes.
I rate this place 3.5 stars, the place to sit was small and could be improved. Lebanese food was sure a good try.

Shish Shawarma, now shifted inside the mall kind of complex in New Friends Colony Market.
Usually when you think of shawarma, you’ll remember Al Bake in NFC and you get to eat one type of typical Keema type of Shawarma, which is now have didn’t able to maintain their taste.
Shish Shawarma, is serving you ample type of Shawarma where you have in mutton / chicken and in veg as well.
It is a very small eatery place and have only 3-4 high chairs to dine in with.
I ordered Mix Non veg shawarma which contain Mutton and Chicken Seekh inside one Shawarma roll. It is served with their own made Mayonnaise along with some two veg salad pcs.
Ordered their Jeera Laban beverage which is actually Chaach in our local language but taste good.
The taste of seekh was good and taste like fresh. During my visit have heard and see many swiggy staff to pickup their ordered.
Good place and fully recommended to all the shawarma lovers.
In my next visit I’ll surely try their exotic shawarma dishes and share with you.
This place serves you decent shawarmas and the taste is almost authentic . I used to order from this place regularly at work. I would say that you should try at least once and tell them your preferences of fillings if you would want to change some.
Ordered the exotic chicken shawarma and chicken wings. Made the shawarma a combo with fries and mango laban. I asked them to make the wings a bit spicy, which I'm glad I did, it would have been a bit on the sweeter side otherwise. They made it exactly how I asked them to, so for me the wings were really good, but a little overcooked (negligible) . The shawarma was very good, I enjoyed every single bite! The fries however were soggy and a little undercooked, and the hummus tasted like it had a water mixed. The mango laban was also pretty good but I think they confuse laban with lassi, didn't mind it though. I'd order from here again... Just nothing with fries or with that dreadful hummus.
Chicken Shawarma was nice.. Fries were OK and hummus was yum. Value for money.. Recommended for a quick bite. Service was quick and efficient.

The shawarmas here are different from the roadside shawarmas I usually eat. The serving is generous and the price is favourable. I did not like the vegetables in my shawarma though. The chicken filling was good nevertheless.

We were at a friend's place for dinner and we ordered shawarmas from Shish Shawarma. We ordered one Falafel Shawarma, One Exotic Shawarma and three Chicken Shawarmas. The order was at our door steps in about 20 minutes.
All three shawarmas were good, quite juicy and with crunchy bites from the fresh vegetables. The dips were adequate. Interesting ans easy on the pocket!
Delivery is very prompt. Delivery person is extremely polite. Food is good and fresh. I love their hummus shawarma. The labaans are also very good. But the fries are sometimes soggy and oily.
Surprisingly good food. Excellent Shawarmas and even better Hummus. Food came very promptly as well. Just wish the packaging was a little more hygienic and durable.
First things First. Do you have a taste for ORIGINAL Lebanese food? Something that you have tried either in Lebanon or somewhere in the middle east (probably Dubai)?
If not, you probably won't like it.
However, if the answer to the above is yes. You can try this place without a doubt. They serve probably the most original shawarma, hummus and pita bread in entire Delhi.. 4.5 stars for originality. Deducted 0.5 just for the size of the outlet.
Edit: They have moved inside the building next to Batra Reels Cinema (Same market area); next to Open Oven.

Really good Shawarma, delivered very quickly and very fresh. For the first time, had shawarma roles in Delhi where the pickle was not sweet ( it's not meant to be sweet) and the roll was not filled with Mayonnaise. Yum and flavorful
One of the best, if not the best, shawerma joints in Delhi! Ten times better than AlBake shawerma. Highly recommended. The place however is a bit small. But go there for their shawerma and laban. Awesome!
1 of the rare places in Delhi which serves authentic Arabian food with authentic ingredients. Also the cost is not expensive as well. The pita bread is actually pita bread and the Hummus served is authentic as well. I have had chicken shawarma which was a proper shawarma in pita bread rather than other places which serve chicken shawarma with the shawarma chunks wrapped in "roti/paratha" and serve it with mayonnaise. Also their Hummus Shawarma platter is good with chicken shawarma chunks, hummus and garlic dip being seperate and served along with pita bread. Only drawback of the hummus shawarma platter is that chicken shawarma chunks are served on a bed of onion. Seperating the chicken & onion and serving them seperately would make it better
I haven't tried their Manakeesh (Arabian Pizzas) and the next time I am there, I will try out the Manakeesh as well
This place is situated in little lonely corner with not much walkin and I actually wonder why? So anyway I tried their falafel and exotic chicken shawarma. It is a good change from usual shawarma with hint of Lebanese flavours. Only thing which I expect them to work upon is make the place a little vibrant and end the sad feel which come from the place though not from food.
Finally, a place in Delhi that actually knows shawarma. Ordered the mixed shish shawarma. I was sceptical at first, my experiences with shawarma in Delhi have been everything but pleasant. Al-bake is a sad joke. Anyway, when the food arrived, I was happy to see that the pita bread was actually pita bread, and not parantha. Also, the hummus was actual hummus, not Mayo. 4 stars for actually knowing what shawarma is supposed to look and taste like.

I had heard about the famous Shawarma of Al Bake new friends colony and reached the market on my way back home from Faridabad and was very disappointed and came out of the restaurant. As soon as I came out I saw a board of Shish Shawarma and remembered someone mentioned that they served good food, so I walked in.
Located in the main Market of New Friends Colony, this shop is barely 30 meters from Al Bake and is a small outlet with just seats for 5 people with no tables. It had a limited menu with only few items.
I entered and saw that they serve Shawarma too, so I ordered for it, to my surprise they served a perfect Lebanese Shawarma and not a chicken roll like Al-Bake. The Shawarma was brilliant to taste with automatic bread and their filling was excellent, unlike any I have had across Delhi, I have only had such wonderful creations during my Dubai holidays.
If you really know what Shawarma is, you will surely visit this outlet.
When in a market there is al-bake .. and you still open a food joint just for the shawarmas .. it is a big dare.

Their falafel shawarma seems the most famous of the lot.
We were 4 people and 4 different types of plates for lunch today.
1. Chicken Seekh kebab platter - the only thing which disappointed. No not 'coz of the taste and all .. the seekhs seemed like frozen retail kinda.
2. Shawarmas - Exotic Veg, Exotic Chicken, Paneer - all of them were good. The pita was nice and fresh and so was the stuffing.
All in all, a good value for money certainly.
And without any mayo it is the healthiest option in the market for sure.

I just stumbled upon this place while wandering in the NFC Community Center looking for a place to eat that I hadn't been to earlier. Noticed this little hole-in-the-wall place and walked in. And I don't regret it.
Initially, I was apprehensive, given that it was completely deserted, but once the food came in, all those notions were gone. The food was really nice and light. The pricing was just right, not enough to pinch the pocket. The hummus was a clear winner. The menu isn't extensive but it does have a few new things in it. For example, manakeesh is not something that usually found in little places like these. They have fresh fruit juices which was a welcome change from the usually found options of aerated drinks and canned juices. Though, those options are available too, if you want.
Yes, it is a bit of an effort to find the place and it's rather little, with space for only four people but it is a wonderful dine-out option if you're strolling around and feel your tummy knock.
For this trip there, there was nothing bad I can think of. If I do discover something on the next trip, I will definitely update the review. In the meantime, I really think this place deserves a visit.

Tried their exotic chicken shawarma and it is amazing. I eat it every time i visit. It is pretty big, chicken is not minced, black olives and pickel are added. Tastes mind blowing with the garlic dip.
Falafel shawarma is good too, manakeesh is pretty original as i have tried in Dubai. Tried the cheese manakeesh and it was good.

I ordered their speciality - Chicken Shawarma, Hummus Pita Bread and Mint Laban.
Pita bread, which they also use as base for Shawarma were soft and taste great with delicious Hummus Dip. A must try.
Chicken Shawarma was a bit disappointing as it was dry and dip was not at all impressive. The good part about Shawarma was chicken was not completely choped, and you can feel the flavours of smoke inside chicken. Mint Laban was good.
Overall a decent experience, but for Shawarma's, I will still go for Al- Bake.
One of the besh Shawarma joints in NCR. For me the speciality is they don't chop off the chicken minutely as done by others. The chicken does have the juice/aroma of smoke of burner.
Not expensive at all and also they serve you with authentic hummus and frashly ovened Pita, if you don't have much liking of ambience then it's a must for you.
Very under rated shawarma joint. They serve the cuisine like how its supposed to be. Manakeesh is a must have for all meat lovers. The problem is space. Though they have seats outside, who'd want to sit in the sun, in Delhi.
The chicken shawarma that they serve is so tempting and healthy. I and my friend specially come all the way from West Delhi to Nfc just to grab a quick bite at Shish Shawarma. If they would have opened up outlets at more places, I would have given them a 5.
Finally after coming to Delhi I could find a place which actually sells proper shwarma roll. With amazingly creamy hummus and garlicky yougurt sauce.
The AL Bake guys just next door should hang their heads in shame. What they serve in name of shwarma roll is a roomali roti with bits of chicken.
So don't be fooled. Visit Shish shawarma for a authentic roll with generous amount of fillings. I don't minds shelling a few extra bucks for a wholesome shawarma. Will visit again to try their other dishes on the menu
