noorjahan is one of the best family restaurants. Though it is known more for its non vegetarian food, the vegetarian food was equally scrumptious. The ambience was pleasant. The food is excellent. We ordered paneer khurchan, dal makhni, hot coffee, coke, tandoori roti, paneer kulcha, onion kulcha. The quantity of the food was generous and the quality was terrific.dal makhni was superb. Paneer was yummy and mouth watering. Coffee was amazing. The breads were soft and bigger in size than what you have in most of the restaurants. As far as ambience is concerned it was also good. We had dinner with very ease. Service was also pretty fast, no delay in orders.

The place has a very good ambience,the food is excellent with a great hospitality and the starters are really good,had a really great experience and the chicken is really good,overall a very good experience.
Had gone to visit few friends at the IC's hotel and decided to eat at this restaurant which is a part of this hotel only. Decent place, good ambiance and very good service.
Paneer tikka: very well marinated, fresh slices of paneer tikka.
Veg galauti kebab: they were really soft which I loved about the dish.
Anjeer ke kofte: that is one dish which I actually fell in love which. Creamy mild gravy with kofta's made from figs and dry fruits.
Dal makhani: unbelievable outstanding dal makhni. I loved it!
Breads were really nice. Specially the carrot naan.
They serve one of the best north Indian and mugalai food in the vicinity of nfc. A bit difficult to find but once you reach there its a different experience all-together. I didn't expect too much out of this place and it did not disappoint. The place wasn't that crowded and the service was good.
In starters ,
Reshmi kebab,Kakori kebab,Spring rolls,Mutton barra were perfectly cooked and amazingly good.
In Mains,
Murgh noorjahani and hydrabadi biryani which had the authentic muglai taste.

Being really honest, I wish this place was somewhere in "cool" markets and I meant by that is it's a hidden gem.
The location might not attract you but mark my words as soon as you enter the place you will forget everything.

Was staying at the IC's hotel and tried the food at this restaurant couple of times. The food was nice and tasty.
For the starters we offered Thai Chicken which was really nice. Topped with sesame seeds and garnished well. The taste was really Good.

Ordered few nonveg and veg snacks in the beginning.
The murgh Malai tikka was soft inside, crispy karara outside and when sprinkled a little bit of chat masala tasted awesome.Banjara murg was another thing I liked. The crispy chilli potatoes were really really good. Loved them! But my favorite was fish Tikka, so soft and well done!
For mains I would recommend Dal makhni without fail, along with Noor Jahan Butter chicken and anjeer ke kofte.
For desserts dont miss their special in-house Rasmalai and gulab jamun with icecream.
Service was good, staff was really really helpful and sweet. Food was good and ambiance was decent and casual.

Noorjahan is a North Indian cuisine restaurant in New Friends Colony. It is in the IC hotel near Jamia. The ambience they have is nice n decent. Also they have the buffet option.
We were there for lunch and being a vegetarian I had shami kebabs nd veg platter for starter with chilly potatoes as for main course we had angoori kofta, mix veg and dal makhani.
Starters were good, esp chilly paneer...it was too soft and chilly potatoes were also very good...were tasty n crispy....other than this we had shami kebab which was above average and veg platter...platter was also good but chilly potato n paneer were even better.
In the mains angoori kofta n dal makhani were very good and for breads the carrot naan was extremely good...we also had yeast naan...infact I never had carrot naan before anywhere else....the mains was even better than the starters.
We had virgin mojito and chocolate shake for the beverages n ras malai for the desserts....
Overall the experience was worth every penny....say it be food, service, ambience, presentation etc....everything was upto the mark.

I loved the food... Range of snacks in chicken and mutton is crazy... mutton kakori is a must try and also chicken afghani malai tikka... main course is also pretty good... Butter chicken is at par with other good joints like Gulati (pandara road) but comparatively more reasonable...

Coincidentally, we went when Restaurant was booked for an event, so place to sit in.
Then they made arrangements in a deluxe room and made us really comfortable for having Dinner there. Loved the idea and experience. Luckily we were 6 people so could enjoy the meal in a room.
Angara chicken and chicken malai tikka were amazing in starters, Kali mirch chicken was mildly flavourful as it should be and rara mutton was delicious.
Biryani was also good, cooked in Desi ghee, a bit extra oily (personal choice) someone else may like it.
Location is also good, just in front of Okhla Vihar Metro station on Magenta line.
First of all the ambience is really attractive. I mean the moment you enter it you will be like wow quite, calm and the perfect place for having a meal out. And the food is also quite good and of course some of its food have very good taste so basically I will rate it 4 on a scale of 5
Delicious food. Bhuna gosht is best of them all. Restaurant is on covered roof top so you need to take lift to 4th floor and then stairs to next floor.
