I went there a few days back and a fairly good experience. The tandoori food here is great. I loved the malai chaap and the chicken tikka. You should definitely try that out.
Great food and the pricing was just right too. we had the special veg thali and the quantity was sufficient for me. Liked the place and would recommend

I mostly order home deliveries from this place when my mom isn't in the mood to cook. The prices are very decent and the quantity they serve is very good. They also have an option of half portion as well which I find very helpful if I want to order a variety of dishes. Mostly we order BHINDI MASALA, GOBI ALOO, DAL FRY AND DAL MAKHNI.
The best dish for me is Bhindi masala. It's got that khattta meetha taste which I like. Aloo Gobi is also good.
Dal fry isn't my favourite and they give chane ki dal in it but my family likes it. Their Dal MAKHNI is amazing and a must try.
Overall packaging, delivery time, value for money, everything is perfect. It's good to find a decent North Indian restaurant with reasonable prices near my home.

Great place - authentic home food feel. A slight walk, but definitely worth the money and the meal! We ordered the veg supreme thali, and it was economical and tasty. Will definitely visit again. :)

(27/9/18) I ordered Kadhai Chicken (quarter) for ₹114 after discounts. The packing was good. The gravy was oily, a little bit spicy and average in taste. I was expecting the chicken to be boneless, but it wasn't which is the main reason why I got disappointed. Can't blame the restaurant for it as the fault was mine for not confirming it before placing the order. You can't expect much for that price. It was okay for the price paid. (1st image below)
Planning to try their Chicken Roll, next. Hope it will be good!

I ordered Kadhai Chicken (half), boneless this time. The chicken pieces were soft and of a good quality. But it was way too oily. Other than that, the quantity and overall taste were decent for its price. (2nd image below)

Decided to try the Boneless Kadhai Chicken once again from here. I mentioned in the order instructions to make it less oily. After placing the order, I even called them to request them for the same. Despite that, the dish was extremely oily. Probably half of the container was filled with oil only. Also, I noticed that the chicken pieces were lesser, compared to the last time. I don't understand how hard it is to put less oil in the food.

Kadhai paneer is something to taste in a week but sometimes I found difficulties in a way to order.

I ordered veg thali from this place, after trying a lot, I found one vendor whose thali tasted like home food, with no extra oil and thick curries and had soft roti.
I will surely recommend their veg thali if you are looking to have simple home like food for lunch or dinner.
Only thing which might disappoint some people is that they don’t provide dessert with thali.

Who doesn't love eating tasty homelike food at a cheap price? If you are like me, living a bachelor life in this expensive city, then you should definitely visit this place. The food here is delicious. Especially if you like to eat spicy food. Though I feel the staffs are really slow and don't bother much about the customer s. But that can be overlooked. Big thumps up for this place. 👍

The food here is awesome within budget. They do deliver n the best part is the staff's there are very helpful. one try is must either u like it or not. And to have this in Kotla is amazing thing.
If you really have a good taste for chinese, japanese flavours then you are going to love the food served here, been here twice for lunch now, and both the times the food was yum and tasty, the flavours just make you happy. The service is also good and food was so fresh and good. The price is bit on a higher side, but the tasty food overpowers it.

Daitchi restaurant, in south ex main market. It has been here since more than 3 decades now. I have costed this place for dinner few weeks back and the review for the same is below:
Location: It is located in the main South ex market, so parking is not an issue the place has ample paid parking.
Ambiance: It is an old school restaurant the ambiance is decent nothing special but comfortable and clean.
Service: The staff is polite and fast, they have suggestions and most of them are quite good.
Drinks: The place does not have liquor so only soft drinks are available.
Food: For soup we had Hot & Sour chicken which was nice (we ordered one by two the quantity was good), for starters we had Drums of heaven: the same was tasty, juicy chicken drumsticks which were nicely made.
For main course we had shredded chicken five spice with Szechwan fried rice this was a very good pick the chicken is not a gravy one but was good with the rice. They also serve hot garlic sauce with the drumsticks.
Cost: The cost for our meal was 2041INR including service charge and taxes which is not so bad as we were three people.
Overall the food and service is nice, the place has been serving food since 3 decades and one should give it a try if In the area. Though I would have preferred is they had beer in the menu but it is a family restaurant so not serving the same.

We ordered Crispy Rice Soup, Vegetable Manchurian and Daitchi Special Rice with Black Mushrooms… The black mushrooms were chopped so fine that there was no taste at all, also the rice was not properly cooked and had no flavour… Manchurian gravy just tasted like water… absolutely tasteless… Soup was good but the crispy rice served with it was too chewy and not crunchy at all…
I reached a little early when the restaurant was still closed, the employee who opened the lock was very rude and did not reply properly when I asked how long will it take to open…
Overall the experience was not so good for the first time in all these years…
The restaurant has must try veg options if you like Japanese or chinese cuisine or even if you would like to give it a shot, it’s totally worth it.
I am extremely disappointed. I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for over 25 years and have always recommended it to friends and family. I have always loved their food and appreciated the fact that unlike the North Indian Chinese offered at other restaurants, their food has a more authentic taste.
This time around we decided to do home delivery. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be the same indifferent taste, served at mediocre establishments all over the city.
I called to complain, to question whether there was a change in chef. But was assured that that was not the case. So I've decided one slip over a 25 year period is excusable. I will definitely be giving them the opportunity to make amends as they have assured me they will.

Authentic Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh and we'll prepared, Ordered Pork fried chilly, assorted vegetables in hot garlic sauce and veggie chowmien. The portions are generous, order one dish than you normally would order.

Absolutely delightful! 💖 Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Delhi. Daitchi has something for everyone. There are hot & spicy dishes and also dishes on the sweeter side for kids. Though the dessert options are few, their "date pancake with ice cream" is awesome. Highly recommend this place.
Landed up here reading the good reviews and here I am, adding another good one. Had a great meal here. I ordered soup and momos. Both were amazing, but I have to give many extra points to the soup. Had a really delicious sweet corn chicken soup after a long while. The quantity as well as the quality was excellent. The staff was very cordial. The ambience is calming, cool, quiet and nice. A good place to be at after shopping your heart out, as it is located in the market itself. Will definitely be happy to visit again. Good place to go to with family and friends.
The way, pork chilly made, is just astonishing. The pork hitting your tongue and palate just gives you the best vibes how pork is cooked. The mix chowmein is an amazing dish you can go for. The chowmein with pork is just smooth into your tummy as it's just slow cooked. Also the shrimp isn't to be left out in there. If you are looking for the best Chinese outlets then this is the place for you.

Old school. Loved it. Darjeeling vibes, rather plain simple Chinese restaurant vibes no frills. No service (putting food on table isn’t service) but service charge 10%.
A complete FAMILY restaurant- Very decent and clean with a wonderful menu.
Exceptional in taste when it comes to dishes like Thai Soups, Veg/Fish Salt & Pepper, Golden Fried Shrimp Balls and main dishes serving Tofu.
Was surprised to see Yeefu Stew Noodles (Noddles with a hearty stew of Tofu).
I ordered the Traditional SUKIYAKI (Japanese Dish which is slow cooked in a traditional pan/pot)- Excellent Choice !
One big pot of Fresh Veggies, Noodles, Boiled Chicken and Traditional Sauces.
The dish was served just the way I wanted.
The only downside: Very slow service. The food takes a while to be prepared.
