After hearing about this restaurant from friends and family, we decided to place an order there. We chose from the North Indian part of the menu. We were a bit apprehensive as we are quite fastidious, and lately have had the misfortune of experiencing very mediocre fare.
Fortunately, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food we received. Most of the new restaurants these days serve highly spiced and oily food that try to cover up the lack of subtle taste.
Shekaza is different! We loved the Handi Murg and Mutton Rogan Josh that we'd ordered. It was well cooked and delicious and thankfully did not have the super hot chillie flavour. Will definitely will be ordering again!
Awesome food awesome ambience good service. The Bhuna Chicken is a must try. Dal Makhani is just too good. Veg fried rice and garlic noodles were super. Highly recommended.
Booked the first floor space for a birthday party. This place is very spacious especially if there are kids in attendance as they get ample space for playing. The restaurant provides the floor for a token price in addition to bill for food and beverages.

It's really good for small parties and dining.
Shekaza is one of the oldest restaurants in South Delhi and is maintained and run by a family from over 25 years. The place has subtle and elegant interiors like one of those novelty restaurants where we used to go as kids. The staff is courteous and I would like to specially mention about the owner, Jyotsana who is really humble and helpful. The menu has Indian, mughlai and Chinese cuisines. Ordered a number of starters, soup, main course dishes, roti, parantha and rice. The chicken malai tikka and fish tikka are just epic, you have got to try. The kadhai paneer, dal makhani and kadhai chicken wee also delicious. The parantha s were cooked perfectly and went well with all the dishes. I especially enjoyed the dal makhani, absolutely yum. The portions were good and everything was served on time. All the dishes were great. And to top it off, the prices are pretty reasonable. Overall, a great place to enjoy delicious and mouth watering food. One of my new favorites, definitely.
Excellent food, lovely service. Try out their Drumsticks of heaven if you're a non vegetarian, it's a must-taste.
I stay nearby and ordered food from this place many times. But today I finnally planned to visit with my family. Staff and service was good. Ambience was decent for a family dine. When I talk about their food then I think their veg is really average. Specially dahi kabab & seekh kababs. I personally recommend to go there mainly to have their non veg dishes. I could recommend their kalmi kabab and ajwani fish.(fish was awesome). Tandoori prawns was also good.
The food is delicious, good, cleanliness is taken care of a lot but it is a bit pricey because of the area and it is in Sam Test Khana Khazana Okhla Restaurant and the price is very fine with chicken 2 people Rs. 500 to 600 bucks everything else is good Staff behavior very politely
All dishes were yummy, awesome, and perfect. The ambiance and service were really impressive.We liked all that we ordered. The Lemon chicken was exceptionally good.Recommended for a memorable meal with family.

"Shekaza" Place located in Kalkaji. They have a wide range of North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese cuisine. Finally visited the place for dinner with my friend. This restaurant is serving food since 1992.The entire set up is really spacious! They have so much space on the premises that they could have easily squeezed in more tables, but they refrained thus creating an elegant, spacious and classy interior space.I really liked the service, our servers were prompt and quite professional. The chef came up with his best dishes as recommendations based on our preferences and all the dishes were delicious.
And we started our meal with:
Pineapple raita: All time favourite. Curd used was fresh and sweet and the quantity of pineapples was just perfect.
Paneer malai tikka: Firstly I was really impressed with the presentation. literally it was very beautifully presented with salads. Also perfectly cooked.
Drumsticks of Heaven: Highly Recommend!! I was swept off my feet. Perfectly cooked chicken legs one of the best in town. it’s my current favourite in starters
Murg Biryani: They use premium quality of rice in their biryani also the distinctive, typically pleasant smell of biryani was mouth watering.
Chicken handi: cooked in a thick gravy of spices. which was creamy and heavy but tasty. went well with Tandoori butter roti.
To end our dinner we had Gulab jamun and ice-cream for dessert they have added dry fruits to their Gulab jamun which enhanced it's taste.

One of the very few old restaurants in Kalkaji. It has a quite ambiance. Perfect for a family dinner or lunch.
Fairly okay. North Indian foods are of standard quality. Chinese foods are below average. Price is moderate as per quality. Environment is a bit clumsy but not suffocating. Average serving time is quite good. Staffs are well behaved but there are certain areas of improvement.
Good and peace full place to enjoy authentic food. We ordered North Indian food and taste was awesome. Staff behaviour was good and polite. Nice ambiance and comfortable sitting. Multi cuisine restaurant. Good place to visit with family and friends.
It’s nice taste of balance spice food which always good food. Staff is also cooperative to give much comfort to eat.
Shekaza is a family restaurant in the kalka ji road and is known for its cost interiors and great food. The things which I love from here are Handi Chicken , khadai paneer, Fried Rice and Chilli Chicken.Anyone looking for an accessible and affordable place for a get together or family gathering must definitely try this place!
