My big time wait is over. Very happy to get my craving satisfied for the food from this place. Sudden programme with my childhood buddy.
And we were there at this place on the peak timings when it is totally crowded. Phones were continously ringing for packing orders.
And the owners were saying this dish is finished that dish is finished. Checking up with the kitchen staff for any arrangements.
But trust me this place gives you the food that you always want to have when you go out on a outstation trip.

Punjabi Dhaba is one of the popular hangouts for students of Delhi Technological University. Being a graduate from there, this dhaba holds a special place for me. When you are done with all the burgers, momos, pizzas at G3S complex and feel like having 'desi' Indian food, you turn to Punjabi Dhaba.
Punjabi Dhaba is purely vegetarian. It provides a good amount of options when it comes to ordering 'sabzi'. It has chaap masala, paneer butter masala, Shahi paneer, malai kofta, dal tadka, dal makhani and what not. I would give a special mention to chaap masala. Theie chap masala is spicy, infused flavours and retain the raw taste of Dhaba style cooking. Their dal tadka is just brilliant - 'tadka' is plain salt and red chillies but sometimes simple things when prepared well are enough to satiate your taste buds. The core of the the dal us 'ghee', without which it would lose its essence. Their other dishes are also decent. They also offer rice plates - kadi chawal, chhole chawal, rajma chawal. For the breads one must order Pudina parantha and missi roti. They make crisp breads that go well with the sabzis.
A great place to enjoy great Indian food and be closer to your roots. Good thing for students, you can eat a wholesome meal that fits in your budget here. Would love visit there again someday.
We are a regular customer of this Dhaba and boy is it good. We'd prefer this dhaba over Gurdasman Dhaba of Sector 15 rohini every single time not because that is a bad dhaba per say but the taste here is just amazing. Although I wouldn't recommend you order laccha parantha but Chaap, Chana masala, kadhai paneer and dal makhni with tandoori roti and butter naan are some of our favorites.

I tried this dhaba after reading Zomato reviews and I must say it was worth it. Pure punjabi taste. Dal fry black was awesome. Paranthe was delicious. They prepare it with full love. At the price this is must try. Chaap is prepared in tomato gravy so a little tangy.
For vegetarians living in rohini, this dhaba in sec-11 is must try..! Best dish they serve is aloo dum ( they only make it on sat n sundays).. Roti, chaap, chole, raita, pulao .. U name it and they will serve u with best possible taste.. A bit expensive for a dhaba but there serving size is double what dhaba normally serves.. Must go and u can order anythng blindfolded..

Best food in Rohini area. Always go here when Iâm in the area. Used to be near my college as well. Fried Rajma Rice Combo is absolutely divine. Chana Masala, Chaap, Mix Veg and Karahi Paneer are a must try! Quite economical as well. Open sitting.

Awesome food, I tried Dal Makhni, Chhole and Palak Paneer, and Lachchha Parantha/ Roti everything was good. I would say Kadi Pakoda needs a little improvement.
Service was excellent, waiter was wearing smile on his face and listening the order carefully.
Food served to us was piping hot. This is what I like the most about the Dhaba.
Real value for money, they also offer half portions and that is good quantity.
The DDA market it is located has 2 other Dhabas also but don't get confused. It is at the Back side and displays the Signboard as "Punjabi Dhaba" only.

Great Dhaba Food. One of a kind in Rohini. You would actually get the taste of Punjab in the Desi Ghee Items of theirs. But Lachha Paranthas were a let down. Nonetheless one must try this place out.

The food is tasty. They have the standard north indian menu but you are gonna love each item in it. My personal favourite is paneer butter masala and dal makhni.
A Zomato-Find !! Had no idea about it anyhow. Was difficult to find and has a typical dhaba setting. Coming over to food, ordered veg food and it was delicious (kadi, dal, paneer and malai kofta). It was a pleasant surprise for the family. Taste was good and so was the immediate service. Can try for a change and enjoy the dhaba service. Great option !

On this rainy day , we decided to go for a ride and also decided to locate this Dhaba ( which I encountered on Zomato ) . So firstly it is popular by the name â¢Punjabi Dhaba⢠and people in the locality will guide you easily to the location .
Compared to other Dhabas , it has comparatively better seating place . Quite airy and open . Dine in would be good on days like today or in winters .
They have half and full plate options in their menu . We ordered Half Paneer Butter masala , half Dal Makhani , lachcha parantha and simple roti .
The service was quick and order arrived in 5 mins . Quantity was good , a little more for 2 people . Paneer Butter masala was very yummy . Even dal makhani was good , but we were more focused on the paneer . The size of roti was big and so one was sufficient for me . Lachcha parantha was perfect ( layered , butter and no smell ) .
Meal for 2 costed for 222/- and we gave a tip of 20 ! So falls in the reasonable range :-) .
A dhaba experience is well guaranteed here .
i just ate food of this DHABA and i could't resist myself from writing a review for it. ropad punjab ka dhaba has the best DAL MAKHNI i've ever ate. MALAI KOFTA was not that great because the KOFTAS don't have yummy stuffing. but in the end i paid a bill of only rs 409. so keeping in mind the bill I can say that it is the best DHABA for north indian in rohini sector 11.

people in rohini have for long depended on some or the other 'rasoi' for their home delivery needs - if what they want in regular north indian cuisine that is... and suffice it to say that quality has deteriorated in recent times to such levels that I've altogether stopped buying from most of the rasoi's..!
this one is a breath of fresh air though.. 'Ropad' is newer in its life cycle probably, and they haven't lost it yet. The food is in short pretty good. You get the punjabi flavors that you would get if for example you were to go for a wedding party.. I know that comparison may not be the best one, but I'm talking about a really good quality wedding party that can sometimes have amazing food! Like some of the classic dhabas do.. And thats what they claim to be afterall, so we should be expecting that right?Â
The dal and malai kofta were highlights. The delivery was reasonably quick. Packaging was foil and plastic which is ditto tat of all similar places. Pricing was in the green as well. So all in all, a pretty good deal for regular north indian vegetarian bahar ka khana for a lazy weekend.Â
Oh yes, you can opt to dine in too although I would not advise that. Why sit at strange tables and chairs with strangers, when you can sit on your own? Oh I know what you're thinking - why do the dishes when you dont have to! To each their own then!! :)

It is one of the best food joints in sector 11 serving best food in quality and taste. The place may not  be very exciting to see but the food served would make you come again and again. At a price of Rs. 100-150 you get best of the raita, veggies, makhan wala naan, roti, etc.

Pure punjabi feel in the food. They serve one of the best food in the price range. Whatever you eat, exceeding 150-200 rs is very rare. They serve veery homely food. Â During weekends and evening time you may have to wait for sometime else all is very good.you cannot miss the raita and Khoya paneer at this place. Their papad quality is like one of the best in the area.

Excellent food. Average sitting area. Very quick service. Owners are very nice and open to feed back. Tandoori paranthas are good. Baingan ka bharta is awesome. Keep in mind that most of dishes are finished around 9 30 pm so better to call and then go. Packing is quick and good. Best part is that waiter will pack left over for you happily. Ropad Dhaba is a great place to have authentic Punjabi dishes. Love it's paneer delicacies like Butter masala and kadhai paneer. The malai kofta is great too. In winters you can have the all famous makki di roti and sarso da saag for very nominal rates. Love the complimentary jaggery they serve in winters. It's a pocket friendly dhaba. The ambience is nice for a dhaba and it's very spacious too. It is usually crowded in the evenings so getting a seat may take a while. Their delivery services is good for people staying in 2-3km radius of the dhaba. Another drawback is the location as it's in the inner part of the locality. All in all it's amazing.
Very affordable, hygienic & quick. They deliver really fast & the staff is very nice and co-operative. I would call them if i'm getting late to home and they stay open even 30 mins after the closing time. The food is amazing and cheap. Do try it, soy chaaps are the best.

it was in proximity to my Engineering college so i used to go there almost everyday even after having lunch. One of the best food joints in Rohini with excellent food. Mix veg, chana masala. malai chaap, kadhai paneer, rajma chawal fry, khoya matar paneer, palak paneer, paneer butter masala are too good. one should try all of these. And chupdi rotiyaan always added to the taste. The food is mind blowing and economical too. i still strive to go there when i am hungry.

Had gone there to get the food packed for home...located in Small colony market...proper punjabi dhaba style...everything was being prepared upfront...Got packed Half Dal Makhani, Half Malai Kofta( 2 pcs) a missi roti n 2 lachha. paratha,all for Rs 220 quite reasonable n qty was sufficient for 2 people..Dal was really Gud...Malai kofta was also tasty....size of paratha was big whereas Missi Roti should only be eaten there only to enjoy the crispness..All in all a good Value for money preposition....Just check the Rates in Zomato which have already been revised...

My weekend is incomplete without food from Ropad punjab walon ka dhaba. Even on a weekday you'll find people lined up to get food packed.
Chana Masala: Seems to be a signature dish. I have never ever had masala chana as a dish outside but first time when i had it from this place I just relished it the most.
Kadahi paneer, paneer butter masala are some of the best dishes.
Anyone visiting first time may not find the ambiance very good as it's a proper dhaba. Also not very easy to locate if some one is not well aware of the area..
The only drawback is they don't do home delivery beyond 2-3 kms.
Simple, clean, super fast and decent dhaba style food...went for a late lunch post a typical sales market work with office colleagues who introduced the place.
The normal dal, roti and paneer followed by rajma rice. Hot, fresh, with generous serving per dish, enough for 3 of us. Two rotis, each 'really' large, enough to fill your stomach. Post that we ordered half a plate of rajmah rice which was a generous serving enough for 3 small portions.

Ah...!! You simply cant resist your taste buds dancing when heading to this place. The best Mix Veg I've ever had belongs here. Malai chap & paneer bhurji are few more among my favorite & yes missi roti too. It may not suit the aesthetic conscious people though, but one shouldn't care when you are a Foodie. Expensive for its ambience and value for money for its food quality and service. It is typical no frills dhaba with very good food and quick service. They don't serve on table after 9:30 so if you wish to dine in there please reach latest by 9: PM. Food is over by 10:00 pm. It's been 10 years and never been disappointed rather everytime we enjoy.
