One of the oldest shop in Amar Colony and a famous one too. Chole bhature is their speciality and trust me that’s so delicious. Rajma chawal and chole bhaii combo from the place is satisfying. Even the lassi is perfectly blended! Highly highly recommended to try!
My favourite place to have chole bhature and rajma chawal
Since I was little my favourite has been KAKAJI KE GARAM GARAM CHOLE BATHURE. The place has standing and eating arrangements not such seating arrangements are there. The service is fast and the staff is polite. The joint serves chole bathure , rajma rice, choley rice and Palak paneer. These are the things I personally have tried with the amazing and thick lassi which you can order there. During the evening they also serve bread pakore and samosa. IN ALL FIVE STARS.
Chhole bhature and lassie of this place is very tasty. Be prepared for long queues if you visit in peak lunch hours. Parking nearby is a huge problem so it is better to park at a distance and walk to this place.
Kakaji Corner is a famous place in Lajpat Nagar and is a must try. Their Chole Bhature and Rajma Chawal tastes really good. The quality of the food is great.
Probably one of the best chhole bhature in Delhi ! Rajma/palak rice are also really good 👍🏻
Super amazing place. The best choley bhature in delhi. I loved the taste. Best i had till now. Great taste
This is my favorite place from childhood. I went to this place from last 10 years, trust me they serves one of the best choley bhature in Delhi. Must try place!
Nice little place to have chole bhature. If the place can have sitting area, that would be a plus. People stand and eat as if now. Taste of chole can improve a bit.
Straight to the point , deduction of one point for the rude staff who needs to be soft spoken.
Coming to the food, yes chole bhature is marvelous and very well made. Chole with right blend of spices and fluffy bhathuras comprising of paneer and coriander stuffing. If they can provide mint chutney and add some pieces of paneer to the chole that will make it even better. Carrot, green chilly and onion accompanies the chole bhature plate and acts like a pickle adding more flavor to the food . Price is on cheaper side considering this is in south Delhi. I took a delivery parcel of 3 plates as the place does not have a place to sit.
Kakaji corner was right in front of my pg. Famously known for their chole bhature in whole Amar colony. Taste was yes upto my expectations but they give only one bhatura for 40 Rs which I think is costly regarding the shops around. But satisfactory.
This place is specifically known for the delicious chole bhature in the lajpat nagar. These are less oily and well baked with an awesome taste with the pickle. The rajma chawal is also quite good in a 60 rupees
Good less oily chole bhature. Timely delivery. Just 1 thing they didn't accepted on their own Zomato valet did it for me. Great delivery by Zomato.
Their chhole bhaturas are my Sunday morning breakfast for years now. Their chhole are just amazing, spicy and delicious..just the way we punjabis like chholes. They serve delicious rajma rice, palak paneer rice and chhole rice also during lunch hours and samosas and kachoris in the evening. I love this place.
This place serves one of the best choley bhature in south delhi. It seriously gives a tough competition to Nagpal. Bhaturas are light and fluffy with a right blend of spices used in choley does not make it too spicy. Tastes heavenly!!
Kakaji Corner is the next best place to get a good plate of chole bhature in Lajpat Nagar 4 after Nagpal Chole Bhature. The plates are pocket friendly. The bhatures are really fluffy and soft and the chole masala is yummy, served with a small amount of a vegetable salad. A plate is quite filling and a great option for lunch!
Best chole bhature option in Amar colony lajpat Nagar 4 area. There is no option to sit. Go for breakfast and enjoy the food while standing.
No other Chole Bhature like that of Kakaji Corner. So folks, do try it. It's the best in the entire Dilli. Can't get enough of it. Reasonably priced.
Best choley bhathure in NCR.Appropriate blend of masalas in Channa and bhathure are dry and nice.
Love this place Will try palak rice next time .
Just apt for yummy yummy
Well priced!
I am totally a fan of this place.
Their Cholle Bhature is perfect for Sunday morning breakfast. They have Rajma Rice and Palak Rice also but famous for its cholle bhature. A plate cost you 50 bucks in which you get 2 piece of bhatura with flavourful cholle and green chilli and carrot pickle.
Great taste.
No seating available but they do you 3-4 standing tables.
Self service place.
I love their chole bhatura.. they give serious competition to the famous Nagpal chole bhatura... his is almost full on weekends and one has to wait long showing how yummy the food is... have nice lassi to add too... happy eating
Kakaji Corner is a small place located in old double storey, lajpat nagar 4. No sitting available. The chole bhature are hard to resist. The bhaturas are big and the cholas are perfectly made. Can be tried. Add to it with a glass of lassi. Awesome.
Best Chole Bhature I've ever eaten. It's a very small outlet, mostly famous amongst the neighbourhood people, usually crowded on weekends. My friend took me there a year ago and since then I try to visit this place every Sunday for breakfast. They really give me a mouthgasm. :-D
Nearby my place, but never got to have the famous chole bhature of this place. Recently, tried these for breakfast and I regretted, that it took me so long to try these! Such amazing flavours! I'm not much into spicy food but a plate of this awesomeness is perfect for a filling, satisfying, flavourful desi breakfast. Their stuff sells so quickly, especially on weekends. Perfect Sunday meal, I'd say!

My favourite place to have breakfast on day off and weekend. They give really awesome chola bhatura, chola puri and moreover the evening samosa are greatly lip smacking. It's really nice to live nearby to this food hub.
Been to this place many times. I make sure, if lassi is available, then its a must after chole bhature.. For me, two plate of chole bhature along with lassi makes my tummy happy
Its my morning breakfast! I just love the soft bhaturas. The best thing is the aaloos in chana. Its a bliss having chole bhature with thandi sweet lassi at Kakaji ❤️
Nagpal's a legend, and Kakaji gives it serious competition. I have had their Chola bhatura like a gazillion times, yes it's good. There's mostly a long queue, but service is fast.
One of the best authentic north indian chole bhature. I have been to this place many times, courtesy my brother who introduced me to this place. Not a very big menu, just a small one with speciality of chole bhature. No place to sit, just stand and eat. Ambiance hardly matters when you get so tasty chole bhature.
As it was on my list since long time; so finally got a chance to eat their famous Chole Bhature. One of the thing which I really liked about them is they are less oily and for me atleast they were light and tasty too. As I requested them to give carrot pickle more without any hesitation they gave me ample of it which I really appreciated. Overall the first experience was good and will surely visit them again for the same!!
I liked the delicious and very well cooked chole bhature of this outlet. The taste of their chole bhature is different and mouth-watering and heart contenting!!
I went here today with my family for lunch. Like always, we ordered Chole Bhature. The Chole Bhature served here are the best in South Delhi, as far as value for money is concerned. Although they also serve Chole Chawal and Palak Chawal, but Bhature with paneer stuffing and Chole with green chillis and aloo just steal the show away. They also serve sweet lassi, which is a ready addition to the Chole Bhature. It completes the meal and leaves you fully stuffed.
Best place to have chole bhature. Kaka ji also serves rajma rice. Palak paneer and other items. Price of lassi is little bit on an upper side. However, other recepies are value for money.

Yummy yummy chhole and bhature stuffed with paneer and dhania.....
Chhole they make are incredible.....i take palak separately and add to chhole... And that tastes like heaven....
A different taste of chhole bhature than others..... One of the best in south Delhi...
Palak paneer is also pretty decent....lassi is always loaded with lots of sugar.... But ok types....
I can go to this place anytime.. All I need is first two gears of my bike :D.. 12 years and I still cant get enough out of it.. Tastiest chole bhature of south delhi... best part is that it is ready for u from 8 in the morning till 3 in the afternoon.. Delight for those who like to have heavy breakfast like me ;)
Located in Dayanand colony,it's just opposite to my Grandmother's house. So I have been eating its Cholle Bhature since I was a small kid. It's irresistible taste makes it one of the best Joint all over south Delhi. On Sunday's this place is totally packed and people have to wait for maybe 15-20 minutes.
Best chole bhatura in south delhi... Reasonably good well priced and above all less oily for calorie caring ones. Lassi is also good... Nice for take away
Last year i shifted to dayanand colony when i first tried Kakaji's choley bhaturey though earlier I did heard about this corner but never had this opportunity to try. I think it was the very first day after I shifted to my new place I tried choley bhaturey interestingly I didn't found different. But eventually when I started taking it on a regular basis I came to know that it actually different. Like normally it is the choley that plays the game which need to be thick, here the choley was not that much thick and after you take one stuffed green chilli along with the choley the taste changes. Where as the bhaturey was also soft I think the cook likes to keep its USP and even if you want the bhaturey to be crunchy the cook makes sure the bhaturey doesn't looses its identity.
So since that day and till today in one twice or thrice a month choley bhaturey from kakaji is a must have.
However the sweet lassi needs to be checked again I mean the sweetness is less as compared to the other lassi and the curd over the lassi also need to be increased.
The best stuff I tried was the stuffed green chilli.
One must try atleast thrice to get the real taste. Services is good, taste is wonderful, value for money is also good.
my fav place for a plate of rajma chawal. Simple the best and light at pocket. The pudina chutney they serer with the rajma is out of the world.
One of the best chhole bhature I have ever had. Not to forget the namkeen lassi.
This shop is basically a hidden gem in the heart of Lajpat Nagar. Must have for all brunch fans.

The fluffy & piping hot bhaturas teamed with a bowl of spicy choley and a glass of lassi is a combo hard to resist. And Kakaji Corner delivers on all fronts. Tucked away within the maze of ODS (Old Double Storey), Kakaji is an easy on the pocket kind of joint. It has no sitting facility.
My rating – 3.5/5
This is a very small eatery in the nook and corner of lajpat nagar -iv. It has a very small menu consisting of limited options.
I have always taken a parcel from this place. The rajma rice is absolutely delicious and the chole bhature also are quite famous.
If you are in the neighbourhood do try out the rajma rice.

This is a tiny little no-name shop in the by lanes of Old Double Storey, which most passers-by are going to miss. I have been eating here regularly and honestly, I never knew or bothered about the name until I saw it on Zomato. This place serves amazing chola bhaturas and it has almost become a routine to have my Sunday breakfast here. So much so, that I almost look up to the visits and wait for Sundays to arrive! The bhaturas are served with a very tasty chickpea curry, some carrot and green chilly pickle. Unlike Sitaram (Paharganj), the bhaturas here are crispy and prepared fresh right in front of you. Wash it down with a glass of sweet/salted lassi. Heavenly!
They also serve Rajma-rice and Palak-paneer rice during lunch which equally yummy and Samosas in the evening.
To reach this place, just ask anyone in the area for Khaatu Shyam chowk
For the connoisseurs and passionate foodies out here - After trying each of them several times, I would rate this place better than Baba Nagpal, but probably not as good as Sitaram. The chickpea curry is very well balanced, neither under nor overtly spicy and goes well with the crispy bhaturas, which are not too oily. Best part is the consistency, it tastes the same every day and the quality has been maintained quite well over the years.
Though a resident of Gurgaon, frequenting this joint for more than 5 years, now. Being an avid fan of Chhole-Bhature have been to the most rated and reputed joints including Baba Nagpal in Amar Coloney and Seetaram in Pahadganj. To me this is "THE BEST" chhole-bhature, you could have in Delhi. Specially bhature are "karare", unlike in other joints and Chhole, you will always long for more
A shady small place packed more of their own men at times then customers. They are the famous Chole Bhature wala in Old Double Storey, Lajpat Nagar. This place opens quite early as I always see people chomping on my way to office.
The Chole Bhature is indeed different from the other competitors of Lajpat Nagar. I find this less spicy.
Try the Lassi - I choose the Sweet one. It's one hell of glory once you gulp to the end.
Pricing wise I find it's expensive. Well that's hardly the limiter since people love this place in and around Old Double Storey.
Eaten there several times .. I just love thier chole bhature ... No matter who makes them I love theirs ... Though its small its a roaring success ...
Ideal place for food lovers with decent price nd courteous staff. The bhature were pan fresh served with yummy and spicy chole. The only missing element was mint chutney in salad. The other thing i had was sweet lassi (optional they serve namkeen lassi too). It was creamy and not so sweet which i loved about it.there were no in-house seating arrangement as shop was not quite so big.
Overall must visit place if u are in lajpat nagar nd a chole bhature lover.
Best place to have chole bhature but there is no place to sit. Taste is awesome .They have water to drink. They don't take order online so you have to go to the store physically and there is no parking available.
Chole bhature and lassi tastes very well and fresh as they are prepared in front of customers. The surrounding is much not clean and car parking is not available but two wheelers can be parked. They also give take away service and but they doesn’t take order online.
Taste of Street food, decent taste, no place to sit and eat.....Good for a try out
Best Budget Restaurant with delicious food
Easily one of the best chhole bhature you will get in Delhi. A no frills self service place, you stand up and eat here or order for take away. There is no air conditioning etc. (It's more like a very small dhaba)..but you will be immensely satisfied if you love chole bhature
Chhole bhature here used to be much better but since few months quality of bhature have reduced. Price of samosa was also illogically increased. Taste of chhole and samosa still good but I think not worth anymore now.
A perfect place for chole bhature lovers. They are quite popular in rajma chawal too.
Their main interesting factor is the taste.
They make every item highly delicious and finger licking. A lot of people flock to this place to grab a bite of their food despite of no seating arrangements.
In addition, they offer lassi, water and other beverages , people can have along with their food.
One can reach here by using DTC bus and get down at lajpat nagar bus station. Also, people can come here using cabs.
Try the chol bhature across the main highway In lalsai market. They are super tasty clean, place to sit and also paid and free parking available around. This market in my opinion is the food capital zone of lajpat area with almost all cuisines and kulfi too. The man serving and preparing is super sweet and kind 👌. I don't mean to conflict in interest but a CB lover must must try lalsai market.
Awesome taste. One of the best shop for chole bhature .Very heavy ! Advice- If you have digestion problem buy half plate .
This is nice option, if you are in South delhi.
I must add that, chole bhature, is great in taste. You must try it once and I am sure you will came here again.
the quality is good but don't ask chole bhature after 5 as they will serve you cold chole bhautre.
great food. chhole bhature and chhole rice are excellent. i hv been visiting the place since 15 years and there is no deterioration in quality.
