GK residents know this place well-enough. Hot Pot has been dishing out yummy Chinese food since more than one decade. Their desi “Chinjabi” food is really Yumm! They have 15 kinds of Chowmein. I would recommend their Chicken Garlic Chowmein, Veg Paneer Chowmein and Egg Singapore Chowmein. Pair it with Garlic Chicken Gravy and Talumein Soup.

While this may appear to be your average tea shack, you're extremely far from the truth. Hot Pot is the reason I'm addicted to samosas - fried to perfection, the golden brown (yes, with the occasional charred bits between the triangular ends that teach us the meaning of true happiness) exterior boasts of a spicy, smooth aloo masala (minus those nasty lumps of hard boiled potato) that goes perfectly with their sour, slightly salty hari chutney. The best part is that little cup of cutting chai bursting with flavor that intensifies that delicious burn in our chests. Don't forget to try their delicious range of soups and the rajma chawal, yes it is the stuff of our dreams. For all those who choose to get their chatpata fix at the seriously overpriced Prince Paan dude in M-Block market. take a detour to Archana Arcade and enjoy one of Hot Pot's bread pakoras with a soft drink in the adorable glass bottles of our childhood. One last thing, the samosa here follows a non-greasy formula, so you won't feel like you've consumed a gallon of tel, I told you, this place is a slice of heaven!

Amazing chicken chowmein and veg chowmein. NOT overloaded with spices or oil. Huge helping in half plate, sufficient dinner for a person. Total bang for buck!

As the name suggests it is the place to give you some hot food in small quantity but will make sure that you enjoy at its best. I think Delhi needs more of the outlets like hot pot as the they are inexpensive but serve some quality food, they are not like any other chinese van which would serve give you anything but they make sure that they serve you good quality food.

I think the hot pot will be a big brand soon and they will make sure you enjoy their food all the time.

Ii have had noodles here along with some gravies and I always felt satisfied and happy.

A small roadside shop offering some yummy Chinese as well as Indian food. Big fan of their chicken fried rice and garlic chicken dry. Nice portions, good pieces of meat and very cost effective. Chicken noodles is also good.

Samosa and chai there are also nice! It's always buzzing with activity with lot of people coming for snacks or lunch or dinner. Have parcelled few times from here and it's never been disappointing! Nice place to have food :)

I'm a regular at this place since two ears now... And it's worth it!!
Being a working professional at NDTV, I can easily say HOT POT or Dada's as we call it is one of the most convenient places of all for almost 99.99% of my colleagues and people who live in GK1
Being a vegetarian I highly recommend Rajma rice and chhole rice as they are just like home cooked lunch for all those who live in the pg around GK. Fried rice is my staple at the joint along with chilli paneer or manchurian (it's decent, not a big fan of it). Veg roll is ok-ish as I hate patato in my kathi but the samosa and the bun-maska with chai in the evening makes up for that. Veg cutlet and sandwich is good enough for random hunger-pangs and the noodles are day-to-day story, if your lucky then it'll be the most amazing ones you have ever had or the most "blah".
Being a vegetarian all of the above are first hand experiences. But it's been 2 years and most of my lunches have been here so I know for a fact that fish & rice, fried fish and chilliy chicken are a must try for the non vegetarians!! I have seen ppl finish it before you can say "yumm".
Best for the last the Hot n Sour soup and Talumien soup are slurpy heaven for ppl on a diet and taste wow (on special request he prepares is without cornflour)
Coming to cleanliness... It's a Chinese Food Van :p so don't et you expectations high!!
Dada (the owner) is the sweetest person you can meet and greet, makes everyone feel like a part of the family and occasionally will crack jokes with you and make conversation when the work isn't too much (which is rare as it's always packed)
You might not go there for great food but sometimes all of us need that Food Van ka Khana craving and THIS IS IT!!!

I have lived in Gk1 for six years now and i've been ordering from this place ever since. HotPot's number has always been in my dialled list, maybe i will find it even now. I have the staple Chicken noodles or the chicken roll which became a favourite since my NDTV days. Food is always fresh and piping hot. If i ever shift to a differnt location, HotPot is one thing that i will terribly miss

A tiny little van serving out quick food that looks and tastes good without leaving a hole in the pocket.
They serve a variety of snack items as well as some seriously yummy desi meals.
Samosa is very well made and among my favourites here. The pastry is flavourful and delicious with an equally delish filling inside.
Chicken fried rice is huge in quantity and full of desi Chinese flavours.
Bun cutlet is passé. Can be better.
Chicken chowmein is again very well cooked and perfectly yummy.

This could be a one stop destination for a quick yummy bite on the go or a snack in the evening. Big on taste, small on pricing, a humble effort to dish out quality food in a cooped up space of gk1.
Cost/ person : Rs 100
Will I visit again ? Yes.
