Rooms are good as expected but the service wasn't reaching the expectations. Located in the middle of the market. The hotel is very well decorated with the antiques which I loved about this hotel. Instant heater for hot water. Rs.1550/- for 6hours I found it costly personally. There is a balcony on the 2nd floor of nice gardening but the tablets need maintenance. Overall the hotel is good.
A new shape has been given... Rooms are very good with natural light and it is very handy to your pockets.
Best place in middle of crowded market but is with most sought silent zone in the hotel. Well cleaned and extraordinary interiors of hotel rooms. It lacks food facilities but many nearby food junction are there to explore other than this hotel.
Lovely place with lovely staff.
Easy to access, find and relax.
We like it! Our go to place to stay on the infamous Paharganj in Delhi. Rooms are pretty basic, just about clean and have functional(ish) bathrooms, probably with hot water. Some rooms have been recently updated but they are more expensive and now a bit gaudy. Prices are typical for the area now where it's hard to find a decent room for under 1500 (all hotels seem to have adopted this rate no matter how good or bad their rooms are!). Hotel Relax at least has some character - not just a new concrete box - and we found the staff helpful. Hotel Relax offers a flavour of the Paharganj I remember from years gone by.
When I arrived into Delhi I was coerced into a faulty tourist office who after promising me a tour of reasonable value ending up draining my debit card for all I had. When I attempted to solve this problem on my own I had many strenuous days of arguing and getting hassled by the company. When the staff at Relax Hotel caught wind of what happened to me that swiftly jumped onto the problem and did everything in there power to help me with my issue. In the end I was refunded with the full amount that was taken from me all due to the owner and staff at the Relax Hotel. One staff member stood by me all day and helped guide me through the proper channels to have my money returned back to me. The Hotel itself consists of a lovely staff with good rooms at a fair price. The wifi works great as I was in need to make many FaceTime calls to relatives and Skype calls to my bank. On top of that the food was great and the second floor terrace provides a great view of Delhi's Nehru Bazar. All in all I am quite satisfied with my decision to stay at this establishment.
I haven't stayed here for some time but it was always a pleasure to hear the temples nearby call the faithful and watch the monkeys play in the tree outside the room( a back room) and i also liked to see the bicycle repair guy ply his trade next to the tiny temple.air con didnt work but staff were nice and i wont hesitate to stay therr again on my next visit..
