The best aloo chaat at such a low price.
The bestt aloo tikki chaat I've ever eaten. Quality and quantity wise- superb. Price range makes it super affordable . My goto shop if I'm craving for chaat ❤❤
This place serves very delicious bhala papri chaat and dahi golgappas. However the taste was good . The hygiene could be much better. I'm a long time fan of this place.👍
The gol gappas are good. So is the samosa, aloo chat and aloo tikki.
It's like the go to street shop for all kind of chaats.
Food - 4/5
Hygiene - 3/5
Service - 3.5/5 (crowded place)
All kind of street food from Aloo tikki too burger everything is available and everything is very tasty... Their gol gappe is famous in amar colony, the food is customisable but the standing area is quite less though
I've been eating at this place since about 10 years at the least!
I proudly say this place serves one of the best gol gappa and dahi Bhalla papdi in town. The people who serve here are so nice and welcoming. Their allooo chaat is vvvv tasty. So tangy so tasty! Their samosas are great too and the tikkis too. Try it out!!
Have tried this little chaat corner in Amar colony.
I had tried *Dahi Bhalle* and *Golgappe* at this stall.
Dahi Bhalle was very tasty! It was filled with dahi, and potato mash. To add on the flavour, it had two sauces over it, the sweet and the spicy one. In last, spices were topped over it.
They served suji golagappe, with the filling of potato, dipped in mint water.
They do not have proper place to sit and one have to wait in a long que, as it's a popular chaat corner of Amar colony.
It was stomach filling and lip smacking experience!
The credit of it's success goes tottaly to it's taste and quality. It's a small stall in main market of Amar colony but u will never see it empty.
It's only shop of its kind in whole market. You can see it sorrounded by momo joints and tandoori or fried food item shops. Even after its location in small colony of market it's well established because of its great taste . You will see it mostly crowded. People of almost all classes visit here to have authentic Indian food. Popular among youngster's also. I came here first time with my father listening about it as popular joint from there time only.
Their food is amazing and the service is prompt . Bhel puri ,Sev puri ,Pani Puri and most tastiest among all is "Tikki" are all worth trying.
I always visit Sharma Chaat Bhandar for my love for Galgappas whenever I'm around Amar Colony. It is one of oldest street food joint, more than 20 years old in Amar Colony.
Recently tried their Aaloo chat and I literally fall in love it 🔥 Must visit place for all street food lovers :)
Value for money 💯
Haha.. I never though Sharma Ji will be there on zomato, I have been to Sharma chaat many times now. They are specifically famous for Gol Gappe, Papri Chaat, Dahi Bhale and Aloo chaat. This is one of the oldest (close to 50 years) kiosk in Amar colony as told by mom & dad. They serve best of Gol Gappe's in Lajpat Nagar.
Went to #TheChaatFestival going on at DLF Mall of India, Greater Noida, India to explore varieties of Chaats and Tasted This "Paapdi Chaat" from "Sharma Chaat Corner Ke Dahi Bhalle" 😀 ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
It was a yumm! moment 😍 and I totally loved the concept of bringing all street food flavors at one place 😀 I am up for spicy namkeen chaats always 🤗🤗
Every flavor was perfectly balanced :)
Sharma Chaat Bhandar has been one of my favourite go-to places for street food and lip smacking Gol gappas. It is affordable, fast and a place for tasty chaat.
The favourites from this place are Gol Gappas which are at a striking price of Rs. 20 for 5, Bhalle papdi, Aloo chat, aloo tikki, Burger and so on. This place is only open from 4-10 pm so if you're in maar colony, make sure to give this place a visit.
I rate Sharma Chaat Bhandar 3.5/5 stars, it has honestly been the place I have been going to since my childhood, but it never gets old! Since it's street food, I cannot complain about the hygiene and ambience, and have to accept that we have to stand right in front of the stall and eat our Chaat in the middle of a busy food street, but it's still a negative point.
Food- Good
Service- Good
Ambience- Average
Value for money- Good
Hygiene- Average
Bychance visited this place, and tired aloo chaat and bhalla papadi. Both the snacks were super yummy. The aloo chaat was crispy and spicy in the right amount. And bhalla papadi was made nicely. Totally loved it. Had the golgappa pani as well, it was also super yummt.
Best chat and goll gappe, chat papadi, alloo tikka masala in the aamar colony. When I ever visit lajpat nagar i always ho to this place and have aloo tikka masala and chat papadi, delicious and tasty. Price is reasonable and very pocket friendly.
Service- 8/10(quick)
Food- 8/10 ( depends on your taste buds)
Value for money- 8/10
Accidentally stunbled upon this small Chaat Thela located in a small alley left to Hunger Strike. The weird thing is that this shop is 20 years old and no one there knows about it.
We were in a mood for some Golgappas so tried them and fell in love with the taste
They serve a variety of snacks but my all time fav is golgappas!
I also like the papri chaat they serve..
I have been having golgappas from them since last 20yrs.. i still cannot find the yummy taste of saunth chutney anywhere else.. It is one of the oldest shops in Amar Colony market n famous too.. hygiene is an issue but who said street food is hygienic 🙀
Pani Puri & Tikki were good but didn't like Papdi chaat much, have had better than this.... although I must say they are slightly stingy with green chutney and it's quite tasty
All Street food lovers should try this amazing food served by them. Their pani puri is tooooo yummy. Also, i love their bhalla papdi. I only eat bhalla papdu from one place and that is sharma chaat bhandhar.
It is a old shop in amar colony. They serve tikki, gol gappa and many other street foods. We tried their tikki and it was quite nice. It is better than any average tikki you find on the streets. Golgappe are kind of okay.
This has been one of the oldest places in the capital dishing out some very tasty local snacks that just make you continually want to eat
Don't think too much about the cleanliness, hygiene and more of the place and just binge in complete oil drooping tasty delhi Allu Tikki that's one of the best that you get and the samosas that he makes are also out of the world too
Rich in local ghee, the taste of the food is so divine that you can forget about the crowded lane that you are standing at or even the dogs hovering around!
Once you finish Also try the local chaat or say the local cold coffee in the bottles here!
Probably the oldest street food joint in Amar Colony. Light on the pocket, and amazing for the taste buds.
Tikki is very crispy. Add to it the dahi and chutnies and it becoming absolutely delicious.
The gol gappas are my personal favorite here. Bhalla papdi is amazing too.
The only downside is that it is almost always overcrowded, and the smoke from the smokers nearby.
One of the oldest establishments in Lajpat Nagar.. everybody has literally watched this guy grown up. This is the usual site at his outlet. I have seen only here the level of patience shown to the change of items demanded by the ladies. Every lady has separate demand and after every serving it changes to something else. Pricing is normal but amazing taste
The best aaloo chaat in the city is here! This is like in the nook of amar colony and serves the bestest and the spiciest aaloo chaat i ever had.. Simply irresistible. :)
Sharma Chaat Bhandar has been my family's favourite Chat Stall ever since I was little. Situated in a small street amongst many streets of Amar Colony, this place has managed to look and be modest over the years. Everything on their menu is a hit specially the Aloo Chaat and Golgappas. The blend of spices and tanginess will linger in your palate for long.
Most people who think that good food only exist in good restaurants will never know the fine taste of street food!
This place sells one of the best Aloo tikki, GOL gappe, Aloo chaat and all! The taste is the finest compared to any place in Delhi and moreover the price is so less that you'd hardly spend anything. You could might as well be full with less than 100 bucks spent.
Would definitely recommend.

I got introduced to the world of chaats after coming to Delhi and admittedly, I'm slowly becoming a convert.
This particular establishment I came to visit while house hunting in Amar Colony. My friends' constant insistence and the lack of available proper food joints in the area forced me to turn up there ( I was shocked by how expensive Lajpat Nagar 4 is, especially considering that it's primarily inhabited by students & working professionals)
The long que in front of Sharma Chaat Bhandar is testimony enough to its popularity. Its basically an oven and two tables underneath a tarpulin shade. Although manoeuvering space behind the counters is quite small, the people manning the place ensure wait time is minimal although a crowd is omnipresent. Prices are standard.
The dahi bhalla provided just the right tang. My personal favourite was the aloo tikki which was perfectly fried, perfectly golden yelow in colour and perfetly spiced. Remember those drab french fries at McD ?
What I did not find charming was the unavailability of atleast a single chair for patrons and the dingy nature of the lane which in itself is narrow, thereby hampering the movement of people through it.
Chakraborty Tip : There are two other food joints in that very same lane, but I'd strictly suggest Sharma's.
I would say the best chaat bhandar in south delhi .. i have been coming to this place since my childhood ... i would say if nowadays amar colony is known as a paka food junction wala place then this chaat bhandar has played a stepping stone in it.. i still remm.. this was the only eating joint when i used to come here after my tution classes with friends to have the yummy tikki with dahi .. its special crisp atta wale golgappe and aloo ka chat both are very chaat-patta types. Papaddi chat .. bhalle and samosa chat is also very good and will satisfy the chapata-ness of your sensations :) the popularity of this place went on such heights that .. people started opening other food joints near this chaat bhandar .. whereas nowadays we see the place around this chaat bhandar is flooded with many nonveg and veg food joints. But as its said old is gold .. this place has still matained its goldness ...
Don't Waste Food
Buy Wisely - Cook Carefully - Eat It All
Happy Fooding
I like all the chaats of sharma chaat bhandar. I like gol gappe, tikki, bhalle paapdi, its yummy yummy yum yum and also like thedahi gol gappa its very tasty and creamy.
The gol gape is very very good. the pain is so different and not too spicy. Also, recommend their bhalla papdi, tikki and aloo chaat.
Must try when ever you are in South Delhi.
One of the better chat shops in delhi. Even though it's a temporary shanty it doesn't look at all unhygienic. On the contrary the quality of the chat is much better than a lot of other upmarket chat outlets. The golgappas at Sharma chat Bhandar are probably in the top 10 in delhi if there is ever a list out there. The combination of the teekha and the saunth wala Paani was quite a tangy spicy sweet medley of a spice circus. 4.5/5
The Bhalla Papdi chat was nice too although after the golgappas the Papdi chat left something to be desired for. Standalone it was a a 4/5 too but I guess since we were having it right after the golgappas they were a bit underwhelming. We finally ended the chat session with a plate of the aloo tikkis. And that is just outstanding. The tikkis were perfectly crisp and had the right balance of the spices. And the combination of the suant, curd and green chutney in top of the tikki was just heavenly. A definite must try. 5/5
One of the top 10 chatwallahs in Delhi. Don't think just go.
Foodliey Yours.
their golgappes are amazing !
This is a place I used to visit with my parents in my childhood and till today we visit this place.Nickname for this place was Corner wali chaat shop but now the street is full of other shops as well in Amar Colony.
You will find crowd here at any given point of time.
Tikkis taste good and so the Chaat and got gappes. Tasting Bol Gappas in winter is another game all together .
Tastes good and economical too.
This place is one of the best for Golgappas around Delhi. I've had Haldirams', Bengal Sweets', Nathus', and probably every other big name, but nothing compares to this guy's golgappas. My mouth has literally started watering while writing this review, so you know how much I love it! The tikkis and related stuff is also pretty good. The Samosa chaat deserves a special mention.
This place is a tiny stall in the lane next to Hunger Strike. They have the regular chaat items- aloo tikki, aloo chaat, dahi halle, gol gappe, and also desi-style burgers. The gol gappe are really nice, and so is the aloo chaat. One more thing I really liked about this place is that despite being a small stall, the owner is very conscious of his products. I had asked for my aloo chaat to be extra crisp, and I heard him telling his helper to ensure he doesn't burn the aloo while ensuring it is still crisp. Such attention to each customer is really good and makes you feel like the owner takes pride in serving good food to all his customers.

Yummyyy STREET FOOD!
This place undoubtedly has the Gol Gappas. The water is Cold, and the right about tangy.
Tikkas are crunchy outside and soft from inside with a little bit of masala, served with curd and 2 chutneys.
Samosas are the good too! And they also serve Desi Burgers, and not to forget chaat!
You need to try this place out.
The best GOLGAPA"S in whole south delhi, the taste is fabb, if you like golgappas....................do visit this place.
Smallest dingiest place, that you wouldn't even notice if you don't walk into this lane by mistake! It has the most amazing chat and the place is alwwaaaays crowded! The bhalla papdi and golgappe are to die for and the aloo chat is really good too! I've been frequenting it for the last five years and will continue to do so till I'm in Delhi!
Definitely, one of the best places for your local chaat needs. The warmth, empathy and the courtesy shown by the person who serves gol guppas is awesome. This, despite being a very small chaat corner, is known for the hospitality and courtesy of the staff. Never will you find any one who is rude or discourteous.
The aloo tikkis, golgupaas, burgers and many other such street food varieties available here are just mouth-watering. This place is usually very crowded in the evenings, specially on weekends.
Such is the popularity of the place and its food, that you would find customers placing home delivery orders of some 100 gol gappas, 5o tikkis etc. Huge orders in bulk quantities are placed and gobbled up within seconds.
Special mention is the gol guppas...there is something very unique about them.
This is a must visit...to be visited time and again...and not to miss are the GOL GAPPAS!!
Awesome Gol Gappas.
And the papri chaat is also very good.
All the stuff is nice.
Been there several times.
best chat in our area. golgappa are the best, lucky if u hot chance on saturday and sunday. this shop created ehole mkt of food shops as he is the first one to open shop here. must try.
One of the best roll experience at this outlet in Amar colony market. Tried chicken tikka roll and the tikka was very tasty with nice sauces in it. Their tawa fry chicken momos are also yummy, however the tawa fry kebabs were not so good as per me. Prices are also not very high. So overall it is worth a try!!! 👍
Nearest metro station is Moolchand on violet line.
Food was good. We ordered both veg and non veg rolls. Service was quite fast. Cold drinks are also available here with different options. Easy to reach out as it is at the main road. Great Rolls. Courteous Staff. I hope they expand and make it big. They make as good a roll as Rolls King. Some of the rolls are even better. Chowringhee started from south campus of DU. Now it has started to expand its business. This is a small shop visible from main road itself. Taste is good and same as other branches. This shop is mainly for night deliveries as no sitting is available.
It serves tasty shawarma Rolls, and other Rolls like chicken roll, chicken seekh kabab Rolls, etc. These are yummy and pocket friendly.
wonderful rolls and super tasty. your midnight cravings will surely be satisfied when you try the new lahori chicken korma roll and chicken tikka roll
