first thing i would like to tell about this restaurant is that its the worst when u dine in and opposite is the case with home delivery. Every dish prepared is SO SO TASTY AND NO NO HEALTHY....as usual the case with mughlai food. CHANGHEZI CHICKEN is the ultimate dish prepared here , i have never eaten such tasty chicken variety in my whole life...the problem is with excess oil and nothing else. other dishes like chicken butter roasted , amazing taste and a must try , tandoori chicken , afghani chicken , chicken lollies , chicken rolls everything is worth the price and the taste... overall a very very good outlet when u ignore the crowd , ambience and all those PAISE WAALE FACTORS.....price for 2 is near to 300
If you miss the sublime butter chicken from Aslam, Purani Dilli, this place's butter roast chicken is as pocket friendly and lip-smackingly tasty. A 4 point for the 'butter roast'. Other items are good too. Call your friends over, grab cans of chilled bear and order from Al Changezi... you are sorted for the night.
Hey, what a nice place to order food from.
Price and quality are psychosomatic. Be cool and parcel anything in chicken-dry items. Gravy items drip oil like a refinery.
Nothing much of an ambiance. Com'on this is a street joint.
One of the best changezi chicken I have ever had and I also tried fried chicken which was also decent !!! Been ordering from them and lot and yes changezi is not for calorie conscious people :D !!!
This place is a absolute find! It's not only affordable but without a doubt serves one of the best non-vegetarian food in Malviya Nagar. Definitely ordering from them again.

If you planning to come to Al-Changezi then please get yourself a map, 'coz you wont find this place easily. Its hidden in the interiors of Malviya Nagar (Khidki Extension to be precise).
Also if you are a vegetarian and are planning to visit Al-Changezi then don't bother, this place isn't for the vegetarian hearted. This restaurant is pure non-vegetarians heaven.
After a lot of roaming in Malviya Nagar and a few calls, we finally found Al-Changezi. My first thoughts after reaching the restaurant were 'Am I at the right place?' It looked filthy, unclean, and a restaurant you wouldn't visit if you are in your right mind. But we thought, why not.
(I wouldn't comment on the ambiance 'coz there wasn't any and if you live in the nearby vicinity then GET A HOME DELIVERY INSTEAD AND DON'T PLAN ON VISITING)
Service Talk: 4/5
The boys that were serving us were really small in age. Though they knew their work pretty well but they should have been playing or studying instead of working there. Still they were cheerful and happy to be working and serving everyone.
Food Talk: 4.5/5
So we got a table for two after 5 minutes of waiting. Ordered ourself a Tandoori Chicken, Grilled Chicken and Chicken Changezi.
• Tandoori Chicken
The chicken was well marinated, juicy and tender. Even while writing this my mouth is salivating, it was that good.
• Grilled Chicken
Somewhat like Tandoori Chicken only. The taste was almost the same except for a different masala. We should have ordered something else instead.
• Chicken Changezi
As soon as the Dish reached our table it looked like the chicken was floating in a pool of oil. It looked very unhygienic. But once we separated the chicken from the oil or vice-versa, it tasted really appetizing. It was full of oil, and full of taste.
Value for Money: 5/5
Its the most economical place I have been to, period. Even quarter of a dish had 4 chicken pieces. It was pretty amazing that we ended up paying just a little over 400 bucks for everything.
Damage Done: 430 bucks only.
Overall Rating: 4.5/5
The only reason for a high rating of Al-Changezi on Zomato is their food and only food. You will definitely fall in love with their food once you taste it.
I am a big fan of Changezi Chicken. Had it many times at Daryaganj and Jama Mazjid. Recently got to know through zomato about this outlet which serves Changezi Chicken.
This restaurant is not easy to find. If you are not familiar with the place its better to call the numbers given on zomato and then go.
Ambiance - 1/5.
When we see the restaurant it looks very unhygienic. It is small place which can serve 8-10 people at one time. Outside the restaurant you can see a very big pan on which changezi is prepared and on one chicken lollipop is kept. Walls are covered with Posters written in Urdu. Seats are not clean. Place looks very untidy.Cutlery is not given and you need to use your hands to eat. Its better to order food from here and enjoy it in the luxury at your home.
Food - 4.5/5.
Tandoori Chicken - It was palatable. Served hot. Nicely marinated. Chicken was tender. Masalas were nicely mixed. A normal chaat masala was used to prepare it. I really liked the quantity of it. 8 pieces were served in a half tandoori chicken.
Grilled Chicken - It was somewhat similar to Tandoori Chicken but a different masala was used to prepare it. But I found Tandoori chicken better.
Chicken Changezi - This dish is prepared with lot of oil and ghee. If you are avoiding extra calories please avoid this dish. It is how changezi is served. With loads of oil. When it comes to taste it was the best dish out of the three. Gravy was pleasant. Chicken along with the gravy was delightful. It was freshly made and served hot.
Service - 3.5/5.
A small kid was serving our food. He was really helpful. He helped us with what should we order and in which quantity so that food doesn't get wasted.
Cost -5/5.
This was the best part. The quantity is very good too.Cost per head was Rs. 215.
Recommended for Changezi Chicken but make sure you take home delivery.
Cheers :)
Delicious food at a small shop. If u are non veg lover do try butter Roosted.
Nothing can beat this shop Roosted.
Superb Taste and Real Muglai Flavours
Chicken Afghani and Chicken/Mutton Kebab - Highly Recommended!
End of month?
Low on cash?
Want to eat amazing non vegetarian food but don't want to burn a hole in your pocket?
This place is the answer to all your woes if you happen to be living in or around malviya nagar.
And don't assume that the low prices would mean a compromise in the quality of the food or the service.
The food is amazing. The chicken afghani is delectable. The mutton kebab is an absolute delight and so is the chicken kebab. The tandoori chicken is also quite good.
The chicken changezi and roomali roti make for a satisfying, not to forget delicious main course. I'm yet to try the other items on the menu.
The portions are super sized. A half changezi chicken is enough for four people if you're ordering starters too.
They have a limited menu though, with absolutely nothing to offer if you're a vegetarian. But hey, it isn't the place for vegetarians anyway. And sadly the korma, which I've been dying to try for a while now is never available.
And the person who delivers the food is extra courteous. He's well spoken and polite, which initially was a surprise for me!
So, this place is basically unbelievably good food at unbelievably low prices!
What to say about this place ?
Had Chicken Seekh Kebabs and boy they were amazing ! One simply just cannot stop licking fingers even after done eating.. Total value for money and good service. Will be back to this place very soon !
Great food and cheap price. I have always done a order for delivery. The quantity is good, price is amazing and Taste is good. Speedy delivery.
Where do I start? Shifted to malviya nagar recently and this place is the one to go for bang to buck delicious food in everyone's top 5.
Ordered Grilled Chicken and a Chicken roll. It was delicious. the chicken was well cooked and had enough flavor and the chicken roll is the best at this price range any day. The guy who brought food was very polite contrary to most budget ones and actually said "thank you" when I paid him. Couldn't ask for more.
Love chicken then visit this place and try chicken roll, chicken fry, chicken tandoori and roasted chicken.
The food is delicious and yummy. I give 5 starts to this restaurant
A tiny hole-in-the-wall in Hauz Rani, Al Changezi is a great place to order when you're on a budget but have KFC cravings (don't deny it...we all have those days).
Their fried chicken (full for 280 bucks) is delicious: crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside (although they tend to oversalt it a bit). Their chicken kebabs are also great, and served in a curd-based spicy gravy/marinade. I've heard that their grilled chicken and chicken tandoors are good as well.
And the best part is, of course, how pocket friendly it is: a meal for five (and by meal, I mean: lots of chicken kebabs, fried chicken and other sundry meat items) comes to around Rs 600 bucks. KFC can take a hike.
Food : fried to gravy chicken is a hit . We ordered grilled chicken which was exceptionally yummy , fried chicken and chicken lolly pop with chicken roll !! It costed us 600..
I will be back with no regrets as the food was super yum !
Service: I do nlt expect service over here . It is mostly a take away . A small joint with heavy rush
Cost : too cheap and amazing quantity ! My pocket was happy !!
Location: now that is a task ! If you know malviya nagar then it is a easy location and of you dont then it is tough to find out!
Great food. Totally worth it. It also has cheap rates. And the food is hygienic too. Though the menu is quite a bit small and has less variety, what is there is totally worth experiencing.
Best Place for Mughlai Cuisine after Old Delhi . Good Authentic taste - Kebabs, Curries . Must Try if you are in Delhi
Nice food. Mist try chicken kebabs, biryani, Afghani and tandoori chicken.
Need to improve service a bit.
This place is amazing. The food is also delicious....Im lovin it.....
Awesome place and biryani is mind blowing
