An absolute favourite place for me when I want to indulge in some streetside CHINDIAN food! Their momos are to die for...puffy,juicy and quite filling! I can bet my life on the fact that no one can stop at one momo...you will simply go for a second, a third and a fourth one , if not another plate altogether. Big portions is what they serve and are kind enough to offer a half plate for the small eaters.Ā
TIP - If you want to glug on some alcohol, get them from the wine and beer shop, there are 2, in the complex, or simply request the run boys of this place to fetch you some. If you do not indulge in hard drinks, they offer regular stuff like bottled water, soft beverages, nimbooz and all.Ā
There are 5-6 places, all in a row, serving the exact same food at the exactsame price...pick your choice! Within Chanakya puri is a complex named Yashwant Place, majorly known for Chinese food outlets. On entering the premises you see a line of Chinese restaurant making it hard to choose one. We decided to dine in at China town today. Ordered the Butter steam Momos both veg and non veg. These are not like the Momos you normally get in a local market. Today we began veg talumein soup which I would say was average. A bite into the Momos with spicy Momos sauce, it melts completely inside your mouth. It can be called a Momos loverās heaven. Crispy vegetables were very crisp and had the appropriate amount of spices. In all it is complete delight for local Chinese food lovers.

I am visiting this place from last 10years. I love their each and every dish. But my favourite fish is Chicken Momo. Please don't expect good ambience and cozy furniture to sit. This place is meant for meet up with friends colleagues and of course girl friend. Service is quick and courteous staff.
When a family of 6 foodies go for Diwali dinner to a place that offers all kinds of dishes, the family orders all kinds of dishes.
We ordered pork steamed momos, mutton steamed momos, pork fried rice, prawn fried rice and prawn noodles, along with coke and thumbs up. Our order took about 15 minutes to arrive at our table.
The momos were delish! The prawn fried rice was the next best, the prawn noodles and pork fried rice came in last but not the least. All the items were served hot and were well cooked. The ambience is okay. Our total bill was around 1200/-
Yashwant place located in chanakyapuri is a place with different momos joints in a row, this time i tried their chicken momos juicy and buttery they just melted in mouth.

The only place I have found to eat mouth watering mutton and chicken momos. Have visited this place multiple times with my old friends as a get together. Have tried chicken and mutton steamed momos, crispy honey potatoes, chilly chicken, crispy chicken, and chicken and mutton seekh masala. The food is awesome and Yashwant Place's Food Plaza is popular for small, multiple chinese food outlets.
The place once buzzed with people when Chanakya Cinema was around and then went completely dead. But surprisingly and thankfully, this place is happening again - to the extent that almost all the outlets were packed with people.
Went here looking for some good momos and oh boy, I had one of the best momos in Delhi, chicken and mutton both, extremely soft and juicy and the outer maida layer extremely thin which can easily cause it to break but it didn't - Perfect.
Had Veg Spring Rolls along which also were great.
P.S. - take your booze along and you can easily manage at your own risk with so many tables in the complex, all outlets serve wherever you sit and the crowd is absolutely fine, all families is what I could see.

This place serves possibly the best chicken steamed & fried momos in Delhi & is critically eminent & acclaimed as well..although this place is ought to be visited just for the sake of heavenly delicious momos,other dishes on the menu are toothsome as well!
The thukpas & soups are other things they serve which are above excellence & have no competition!
The spring rolls are also very impressive; sizzlers & other dishes being fairly good..

A very well known hub as this restaurant is very close to sarojini nagar market and embassies. I have been going to this place since a long time. The ambience i would describe as surrounded by many more eateries. But China Town Sizzlers is famous for its quantity they serve. The menu highly recommended can be there Chicken or Pork Thukpa, the bowl they serve it in is pretty big one. Very wholesome and fresh. Next can be there Chicken Chillie Garlic Noodles, Chicken Hot Garluc Sauce, seriously for the love of spicy food and burning toungue must try with a bottle of coke. They have a very good take away or deliver options as well.. the young guys as staff are very hard working and friendly and serve in quick time.. i love visiting this hub whenever i feel like..
Awsome , wholesome and pocket friendly simple 3 words to describe this place. China town is a small outlet amongst the other outlets that are present near the yashwant shopping place. The food though doesn't taste authentic chinese but yes its a welcome change. They have both closed and open seating places. The food is served here is falways fresh and steaming hot. You must try the momos here both chicken and pork momos are succulent and juicy. The sizzlers are must try. Worth visiting place.
Visited this tiny outlet last Sunday with a couple of my colleagues. I really liked the bustling locality where this food stall is situated. The food was good but a bit oily. The Chicken Momos were very succulent and the Chicken Fried Rice was very delicious too. However, the Spl Keema Fried Rice tasted average. Overall the experience was good and would not mind visiting again.
Whenever u want to have good Momos at pocket friendly price.. Yaswant place is the place to be!! I try out a different restraunt every time I am here and this time it was there turn.. Momos are actually same in all their outlets... They were very juicy and served steaming hot.. Only disappointing part for all of them is that the Momos are always dripping with oil!! But they are nevertheless tasty.. We also ordered for a hot and sour non veg soup which was also good.. Earlier I have tried out their sizzler and both veg and non veg are great!! Good going..

You can head to this place if you crave cheap and commendable momos, and nice chicken and lamb preparations. Although, it doesn't serve authentic chinese fare, the food is quite tasty and not very expensive and thus, it is a nice place, especially for the younger crowd. Two items from the menu that I would like to suggest - Mutton momos and Sliced lamb in garlic sauce.

What can you expect out of a place which is located among others chinese/Tibetan outlets with fierce competition, some authentic mid-eastern food?yes, certainly this place is little tibet in delhi where you can get the local street food authenticity from china/tibet, being here from 1980's.

1.chicken momos - you might be crazy for momos but have it from here would drive you crrrazyyyy.I can bet you would not have ever tried momos like you have them here.Best part is you need to setup your own style to eat them because if you wouldn't, you would end in spilling the juice that they have in it.In short, having such juicy momos is itself an awesome experience.they come along with authentic chilli data thick n definetly 'spicyy'.
2. Chicken steak sizzeler that would sizzle your appetite for sure.Its tanginess in chicken and softness till core would not let you stop eating till you finish it.
Ambience is not too great and big but provide the basics like AC which does not come into consideration when you have finger licking food in front of you.
A perfect place to hang out with small group of friends, additionally it wont cost you much..around 575 for 2.

Chankyapuri Momos market has the best momos in the Delhi, all hands down. I have tried momos in Tibetan market, to the best of restaurant but the quality and taste they serve is just unbeatable.
Location: The whole momo market is located just opposite of Yaswant Place in Chankya Puri. All the outlet at the yaswant place serves best momos, there is no particular outlet, but I have always make it a point to have it from China Town Sizzlers because you can sit in the garden opposite to the outlet and enjoy you momos.
Ambience: Inside sitting can be too shabby and shady so outside sitting is always better. Server will serve you outside.
Food: Momos are so juicy, that the juice literally drips as you take a bite so you have to be a little careful with you cloths. The best momos are Pork Momos, mutton momos, chicken momos and prawn momos. Every bite tastes better than before.
Service: Service is good and doesn't take much time.
Price: Even if you try all the momos types, the price wont be more than 500 bucks.
P.S. get the momos packed if you don't feel like eating there.

I was introduced to this place by my husband for whom it has been a hangout place from college days. A ceremonial introduction with the owner aside ('Namaste ji.), the focus was only on the food. Excellent food and as they say 'Cheap and Best'
Do try:
- Momos - steamed and fried - pork or mnutton (vegetarians please excuse, I can't stand the smell of steamed cabbage, much as I love veggies!)
- Double fried pork - yummmm! Ask them to make it extra crisp. Take my word for it...the flavours are great!
- Thukpa - in the winters, this is a meal by itself. Hot steamy soup with generous helping of veggies and meat/pork. Warms you right up.
The waiters have a ready smile and are willing to buy a bottle of beer/rum/vodka for you from the booze shop close-by. At no extra charge. The alcohol is of course served to you in plastic glasses, hidden inside steel glasses :)
Do try this if you are in the mood for tibetan food.
P.S. We sometimes get steamed momos packed, which are then re-heated the next day in a non-stick pan, with a drizzling of oil! Man! Feel like having those singed momos NOW!
