A perfect place to order from if you are in mood for some desi dhaba food. The Kadhi and Aloo Naan is awesome. Rajma and Chhole ain't the best though.
I have ordered from Gupta Ji ka Dhaba over ten times now.
special thali is yumm.love it
good packaging, good food so 4*
This place is best to eat home like food at affordable price. This place is open till 12:00 am at green park i order rajmah & rice and it is amazing.
Nice joint for medical students of gautam nagar flocking to get homecooked food at reasonable rates and fast service, food is fresh and tasty
This dhaba is here since very long. You can expect a lot of deliciousness in their food. Dal makhni, shahi paneer, tawa chaap and chole bhature are famous and tasty. I will recommend a take away only.
Visited yesterday.... Best dhaba food tried Dal Makhni, PBM, Malai Chaap, lachha paratha and aloo paratha all items were delicious. Dhaba is located near Uphar Cineama, Green Park where fire broke out in 1997 on 13th June, during noon show of Border Movie. The place is good for young guys, as you cannot go there with family since no option for good sitting and unhygienic. You can try food in your car. But food is really amazing. You would love to go again. Very economical.
A very affordable place with decent tasting food. Their kadhai paneer is my favourite. Such yum food at such affordable prices. Better for a delivery than dining in.
It's a full Dhaba like place. Food is extremely good with low prices. Must try are the paranthas. Also panner and daal makhani is good. But if you want to enjoy with family please get the parcel at home and enjoy. Not for people who are hygiene conscious😷😷.
This place is the definition of Paisa Vasool..!
Yummy food served at an extremely affordable rates. The Dal Makhani was really good. The ambience isn't good, but a very good place, keeping in mind the taste if food.
Avoid visiting this place to dine in if you're with female friends or colleagues.
Except the ambience, this place is awesome.
Gupta Ji ka dhaba is great place to eat and the food is great and is sweat on your pocket as well which is a 👍 point
Dal Makni was awesome and had great spice add to it
Panner was also good
Mix veggie was really fabulous to have
The panned Partha was really great and 2 of them can get a person stomach full. Naan was also great
The order is freshly made I front of you
Last I would say that it's good for office people of the want because it has siting area also and I think this place is worth a shot
Food quantity is good. Food is tasty and service is also good. We mostly order food in office as never been at the restaurant. It would be great if they serve tava chapati too.
At the start, we were apprehensive because of the look of the place- we walked downstairs into a dingy looking room, the tables were kinda grotty. However, the staff were very accommodating and made us feel really comfortable- with a group of 8 we can be an annoying number and they rearranged tables without any fuss- even lit some incense for us!
Food was quick, and awesome! Delicious curries, channa masala, and highly recommend the butter naan!
Will definitely be going again as it's just round the corner from green park metro station- super convenient, super cheap, (80 rupees each for 8 people) !
Oh, and hygiene wise, we all have very sensitive stomachs and all were fine!
Try it, it's the best food we've had in India!
A dhaba is worth existing if it serves lip smacking dal, subzis and crispy tandoori rotis. Gupta ji dhaba lives up to expectations. Those garamagaram rotis just make your day...I travel from CR park to Green park to grab a meal once a fortnight.

And what do we have here, Gupta Ji ka Dhaba! Now this was the only reliable place near my hostel where I could order great quality and quantity food at a very promising price. Have had a great exp with this place.
Without fail, the best Indian food dhaba in the area .. Just the right flavours and spices .. Must try are the palak paneer and dal with tandoori rotis .. We call it the "auto" dhaba since it opens till wee hours and attracts a lot of auto drivers who are coming in or heading out to work .. The ambience can do better, but the hygiene on food has always been solid .. I solemnly vouch for the food here
Rating them 4 not for their ambience or the location but just for the food and for the fact they were open at 1:30AM to serve hot food to occasional alcoholics like myself. Between a group of 5 guys, we ordered:-
2 Dal Tadka
2 Paneer Bhurji
2 plates of Rajma
6 plates of half dal makhani
35 rotis
Service was prompt and the staff made sure we were fed well even while standing around a random table across the street. Food served was excellent.
To all the Delhi alcoholics, especially the ones coming out of the Hauz Khas Village scene, this place is well worth a try ( IF you have the right company that is)
one of the best thing this place is that its cheap with quality food.
waiting for a friend could gets boring if i dint had a cup of tea with somasa at this place and spended half an hour ;)

I am always on the look-out for dhabas and small eateries because I really believe some of the best food often comes from such places. And since such places are really cheap, it's worth taking the risk of trying out such places as you don't feel as bad spending 200 bucks over food which is not so good as compared to 2000 bucks. So I called them up for home delivery and the process was quite smooth. They earlier said that they start delivery at 8pm, and I requested them to deliver by around 8:15 if possible as I was very hungry and the owner told me he'll make sure to get it delivered on time. And he really kept his promise by in fact delivering before 8pm. I ordered a thali, which has dal makhani, shahi paneer, mix veg, boondi raita, plain rice, 2 naans and a gulab jamun. I also ordered paneer tikka, a missi roti and a plain roti. The thali came packed nicely in a plastic thali. The dal makhani was light and spicy and the shahi paneer was also quite tasty. The mix veg was the only disappointment perhaps, being a bit too oily. The roti was soft, the naans were really full of ghee but quite tasty and the missi roti was very flavourful and fluffy. The gulab jamun and the raita were average. The paneer tikka was also quite tasty and 'chatpata'. All this food was for under 300 bucks and was quite good. This place can be tried for a delivery when you want to have a basic, no-frills thali with decent home-style, light food.

Well, this place is my savior.
Good Food
Speedy Delivery
Very Very Economical
Must tryu- rajma chawal combo/ deluxe thali/ stuffed paranthas.
Well, i have tried almost everything on their menu from shahi paneer, to kadhai paneer, dal makhani, rajma, choley (yes, its 100% Vegetarian), fried rice, zeera rice, zeera aaloo and everything is typicaly indian spicy, tangy and overall- Perfect.
The only drawback is that they don't have non vegetarian food. Once they do, Good lord, they would be SUPERB
In India dhabas are supposed to be legendary in matters of food. And true to the same Gupta Ji ka Dhaba is awesome. Great food and cheap prices, and a must try for any student. I tried their special thali and it consisted of dal makhani, shahi paneer and mix veg along with 2 naans, rice, and raita. Quite a spread for Rs.130/- . The dal was quite wholesome and tasted home cooked and the paneer was a true delight, a real melt in the mouth and its gravy was cokked to perfection. Mix veg had just the right amount of crunchines and was just perfect. The only part they lost out was the raita which was extremely salty.
Overall a good show. I recommend this to anyone who wants to try authentic dhaba food.
Overall food: 8/10
Overall Mouthfeel :- 9/10
Overall verdict :- 9/ 10
Overall value for money:- 10/10
Great Food! Great Prices!
Rajma Chawal and daal rice were delicious. Daal tasted just the way it is cooked at home, brilliant.
So were the paranthas especially the paneer and gobhi ones. Aaloo paranthas can be avoided as they were not so good. Must Haves: Rajma Chawal, Dal Chawal (typical home cooked taste) and the hot delicious Paranthas especially Gobhi and Paneer while the Aaloo Parantha was just about average.
Overall, awesome value for money.
