Best place for sweets as well as samosas and chips and also ladoos at a reasonable prices. I think is the best place around JNU to serve sweets. πππ
The best Besan key ladooo....their stuff is good, clean and top quality. A bit expensive as compared to the other halwayees in munirka but worth it ....they have a special pack of aloo lachcha that my sister loves...people hoard it all the way to newzealand for her ππ... Their hot pipping samosas are great on a rainy day ...
Garam garam samosas kachoris and jalebis... once you had them here.. you won't like them anywhere else.. βΊ .. a small halwai ki dukaan in the dda shopping complex next to EStreet. Quality has been the same for the past 30 years or so.. if in dilli.. do go here .. samosas are made in the evening btw...
We tried it's kachori, samosa, bread pakoda. Kachori was lip smacking. Samosa was good with red and green chutney. Bread pakoda was also good
Best Kaju katli and samosa.. Kachodi, dhokla.. Soft and spongy with a lot of juice... Tangy taste.
. Ask for Utkarsh.. The place is neat and clean.
Every locality has their sweets/bakery shop...well this is for Munirka DDA folks....or for anyone passing by!
The quality is always good and they also provides snacks like samosas, kachori, etc....just make sure to ask for a fresh lot of whatever you order, otherwise unlike any other shopkeeper trying to sell off old stock first, you might get not so soft or fresh stuff!
First of all i would like to tell that it is not a high end shop where you would find everything or it has a huge seating space but it doesn't. It is just a shop which sells sweets. But i am rating it so high because even after such a hue and cry about the sweets quality these days, they have maintained their standards for years now. I have been buying sweets from here for a long time now and i know they don't compromise on cleanliness. Sometimes their stock runs out in mid day and they don't make more because they don't believe in using it again next day. Must try gujiya and ghevar once.
Good place for tasty and delicious Jalebis, Samosas and Dhoklas. Variety of sweets and namkeens available as well as cold drinks too. Hygenic and air conditioned. Not a good place to dine-in. All in all, a very good take-away sweet shop.
The best place to get fresh dhoklas.. Samosas are even better. And the sweets you get are freshly made specially the krari jalebis. Even the paneer is fresh and soft.
I love this place, its in a hidden corner in munirka but there sweets are great specially malai chaap and similar spongy chena sweets. I also like their kaju katlis and gulab jamuns. though it is a bit hard to find and sometimes there is a big parking problem, as always in munirka. but most of the time its worth it. If they start a delivery service that would be awesome.
Best Sweets in Delhi i guess!
The owners are a bit uncourteous, but go there for the sweets!
I love Cham Cham and Besan Laddooo there!
Its been years that I have been loyal to Moon Lights. It's the go to place for the best steaming fresh Samosas and Kachoris around this area. In so many years the place still remains the same and they have been pretty consistent in terms of quality. The place is clean and well maintained.
They have their loyal customers who have been coming around since years. If you like spicy, try their aloo chips.
Tip: Go early evening when they prepare their samosas and kachoris. It is but obvious that the place will be crowded then, but for the freshness delivered, a little extra wait is worth it.

I've been to Moon Light Sweets quite a few times in the last couple of years for a number of relatives and friends stay close to the market and whenever the family forgets to buy something for the hosts, this little sweet corner bails us out :)
This shop is everyone's "Diwali" hangout especially, since it is the only one for miles around that serves good quality sweets. It's been around for ages and it is pretty much understood that all festival bonanzas and gift boxes come from here if you live around the area. Let me add that this, the tiniest DDA market of Munirka, is also the most boring one, with not much except three grocers, one dry cleaner and one chemist! This however means that parking is usually not a problem, since people don't want to stay there long. It is everyone's good ol' reliable for those quick mithai gifts when you are visiting someone, and suddenly remember that you need to take along something (warm-hearted Indian style and all that). The area is residential and extremely quiet as well. However, from about the time between October and December, it becomes lively with lots of crowds coming away with brightly wrapped mithai boxes.
The ambience needs improvement and fast! First of all, even though they are pretty popular, why do they refuse to install an AC in the shop? All through summers, it is absolutely sweltering in there and that actually discourages me from popping in. The frying samosas and kachoris do not help. The service can be a little indifferent and curt, but since you don't have to stop for long, it doesn't really matter. Heaven help if there are already some customers before you, though, because the staff is super slow, never has change and gets grumpy if you don't have any.
For their eats, they have a tremendous variety. My special recommendation is their ras malai, which is so soft it melts in the mouth. The gulab jamuns, the rasgullas and some of the Bengali sweets are of great quality. I wouldn't really recommend the kachori aloo, which is hard, chewy and a bit bland. The samosas, too, are not the best around. Their namkeens, such as namak paare and matthi are a must try, though; they are always fresh and crispy. Added, a nice spicy snack is their masala channe, which comes in a neat little packet. The channas are coated with red mirchi powder and really tingle up those taste buds! The best part about Moonlight Sweets is that the quality of the items has been tried and tested over the years. The hygiene is reliable and every item is fresh when served or packed.
A good, assured choice for sweets during festivals, or namkeen for chai time! The pricing is more reasonable than other sweet shops too. Thus, great for buying in bulk.
