I am really obsessed with this outlet as I'm a Bengali and also a traditional Bengali Sweets lover. Can't get over those succulent and lip-smacking sweets made of pure chhana which Bengalis use to make the renowned delicacies. It's really one of my favourite shops in Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. During this winter season, I visited here and bought one box full of Bengali's favourite Nolen Gurer Jol Bhora Talshash. What an exquisite taste and flavour! The moment I took a bite of this extremely delicious sweet, I got lost into another world. It had rich liquid date-palm jaggery filling inside which erupted as soon as I took that divine bite and got smeared all over my lips. You can then lick those and feel joyful once again making it a lip-smacking experience indeed. The sweet was also very soft and not like those typical hard talshash. The blend of the jaggery all over the dessert was utter bliss which completely signified that the ingredients were sheer and rich indeed.

If all 32 of your teeth a sweet just like me, then drop by this tiny sweet shop in CR Park. Here i discovered that Bengali sweets are much more than rasgullas, and by much more i mean seriously much more.
This shop does unusual as well as the usuals with a twist( hello baked rasgullas). They also have a variety of sandeshs, and other delicacies like paneer kheer! Do visit to satiate your sweet teeth!

One of the Top sweet shop in C.R.Park. But very pricey. Actual price of many sweets are higher than what is displayed in the menu displayed in Zomato. Today I bought Nale gur Roshogolla which is Rs20/- per piece and Lord Chum Chum is Rs.25/- per piece. Lord chumchum was too gud but Gur Rasgulla is not worth its price. There was a chlorine type smell in it. Get better stuff in lesser price. I have tried many of their sweets like sandesh, rasmalai, lobongo latika, komola bhog, dal puri, samosas, chop in past and   the taste wise they are very good.

When a bong friend shows you 'the' authentic place for bengali sweets in town, you surely cannot stop yourself from raving about it.

This talk of the town shop has been satisfying the sweet tooth of many over the years. Have been told that there are crazy number of parcels been couriered to Kolkata during Durga puja and weddings. The production happens behind the shop and the customers swear by its quality and taste.

Owner of this shop (fondly called as) Shekhar da, a happy go lucky person, is always welcoming everyone with a smile. If you ask him an opinion about a particular sweet, he will ask you to not buy anything without tasting it. Probably a cool strategy to increase the bill, wink !

Pro tip : Winters are here so do not miss their Gur based sweets like rasgulla, samosa etc.

Just landed at this great outlet by chance. The samosa and cutlet were fresh, warm and just adequately spiced. A very good samosa after very long time. The cheena toast, rusgu, malai chop and laicha were adequately and pleasently sweet. It's a gem, will definitely visit again to try the mishti doi and other sweets. Highly recommended for a quick bite.

Best sweets in B-Town, which is saying a hell of a lot given the number of sweets shops in the area. Their chops, shingaras (samosas) and kachoris are the perfect way to start an evening, and the wide range of sweets are the perfect chaser for these savouries. You'll put on a couple of kilograms if you visit too often but they'll be well worth it.

This place is delight for it's sweets, chops and shingaras. The sweets taste just right, with balanced sweetness and flavor. Their rosogolla, baked rosogolla,  gur rosogolla(winters) and vegetable chops are must haves. I have never stopped at 1 sweet here. We try almost all the sweets before we get satiated here.

The staff is courteous. The place is clean, and their quality consistent. The prices are reasonable.

A typical baniya from UP has an unlimited appetite for sweets and saying a combination of Baniya with a Bong Friend in Rasoraj had approx. 1 Kg of sweets in one go is not an exaggeration. Coming to the place, Rasoraj doesn't offer a Spacious place to eat like a Restaurant so sometimes you will find it congested if 3-4 people are already there. We started with "Nolengur Sondesh", Honestly I didn't find the taste of "Gur" but the amount of sweetness was proportionate. Then we had "Chamcham" dipped in the sea of "Chena"which was equally good. After that, when we were looking for something else and different, the guy who was serving everything with a smile, suggested us to have a new item namely, "Baked Rosugulla", which was a baked "Gulla" frozen with "Rasmallai". It was new, different & average in sweet. After having so much of sweets, we carved out "Chop" which was deeply fried chop with vegetables. It melt as soon as it went into my mouth & was yummy with the sweet Red Chutney. Not having "Mishti Dohi" in a Bengali Sweet Shop would have been a injustice which we tried in the last. It was again good like other sweets there, but as per my perception it could have been better if it had dry fruits which I honestly don't know if a typical mishti doi have usually. The Biggest surprise came in the last at the time of billing. For all these items, the bill was only 165/- Rs. So all in all, its a must visit place for all the sweet lovers.

Popped in here during Durga Puja for a quick bite. The food is not out of this world, but then the taste of authentic Bengali sweets in a place far away from home is enough for a memorable trip to this place.

I'm a bengali and I actively forward the stereotype of one who craves mishti. So a visit to C R Park is always a quest for satiating my sweet tooth.

While my adventures in C R Park have been limited to the immediate vicinity of Market no 2, I have come to sample sweets from a number of places.

Pricier than the rest Rasoraj is one of the more sophisticated shop which seems to be comfortable in serving the more well heeled. However, all insinuations of class distinctions are swept aside when you have the kochuri alurdom which, I felt was nominally priced considering the size, taste, texture, look, smell and C R Park real estate prices. :)

As for the mishtis, they were perfect. I mean, it would be a crime against humanity, if they were not so, but this place does make them quite lovingly. I especially liked the more adventurous, modern versions of age old traditional sweets, something Im guessing is Rasoraj's forte.

Sadly, I do not remember the names of any mishti I had here but that might be a good enough reason to head over once more. :)

Chakrabory Tips : Kochuri- Cholar Dal / Kashmiri Alur Dom is a must.

Walking leisurely thru Market 2 area of CR park we came up to this place. For those who are unaware, CR park is a mini kolkatta and you will have to rely on your GPS to convince you that you are in Delhi. This place specializes in Bengali sweets and savouries and we were spoilt for choice. We had the "Rangalu Pethe", "Malpua", "Kancha golla", "Chanaar payesh" and "Korapak Sondesh". The place was not serving any savoury items at that time. All of the dishes were well made and live up to their name. The place is hygienic, no place for parking, limited to no seating options and aptly priced

Priced higher than the other sweet shops in cr park but its worth it. Earlier the mantle of the best sweet shop in the colony was held by annapurna in mkt 4, before it got converted to a grill house. Rasoraj uses the best of ingredients and offers sweets which are unique in nature. Of course its nowhere comparable to a sweet shop in Calcutta but its certainly the best shop in cr park. My favourites are kheer puli, kaancha golla, shor bhaaja and lobongo lotika.

Located in the Bong town of South delhi, rasoraj sweets is like a candy land filled with mysteries for a Punjabi like me. Every time I go there, I am filled with excitement of asking about everything that is on display. I manage to remember a few names like mocha and kaccha gola but, when I go there after every couple of weeks all those sweets are replaced by the new ones. This place has no fixed list or a menu and out of their hundred kinds of sweets, they keep changing them in a continuous rotation every 7-10 days. So if you like something, it may not be available after 2 weeks and this way you continue liking newer sweets with every visit. I love this concept of a work in progress sweets workshop, waiting to surprise you with new candies on your every visit.

Well, today I managed to pick up some unique sweets, right from, Aam papad sandwich sondesh to chocolate and orange sondesh, there was mango chop and orange flavored mocha chop. My favorite Kaaccha gola peeked through that display glass waiting to be devoured. As usual came back with a goody box of yummy sugar overloads for those midnight cravings!

Rasoraj is a Bengali Sweet shop which has made its mark quickly in the competitive uptown where many big names are ruling the market for ages. The menu comprises of all the delectable Bengali sweets like Kheer Kodom, Rosogolla, Kancha Golla, Sondesh and many more. The taste and quality is very good.

Interestingly, the age old Bengali snacks "Radha Bollobhi", which is relished by numerous Bengalis on Sunday breakfast, is one of their signature items. The preparation is too good and not to be missed.

Another item I love is Mishti Doi. It is available in plastic containers; may be to make it more hygienic than traditional clay pot containers (Kulhad).

Rasoraj has grown quickly and making its space among the big names. Good place to try bong sweets and traditional snacks.

A small shop with unassuming and disarming charm. Freshly prepared sweets with a great variety and delicious Radha Ballabi that our entire family has enjoyed almost every weekend for all the years that we lived in C R Park. Their Lord Chamcham and nalen gurer sandesh are not to be missed!

There are sweets and then there are bengali sweets and then there are Rasoraj bengali sweets. they are like no other, taste wise, variety wise, freshness wise. I love them.

It is a small shop, in front of fish market at no.-2 market pf C.R.Park near mela ground. first thing you notice as soon as you enter is that they have many sweets which you do not see anywhere. i love their balushahi they have two variants of these, lichi rasgullas, rajbogh and many more sweets.

They also have kachoris, samosas and RADHA BALLABHI. and believe me nothing like the normal samosa or kachori that you get in delhi. theya re different, not much chilly but still tasting fantastic.

Do you love sweets then you got to be here guys.

If its bengali sweets its got to be CR park....NCR lacks good bengali sweet shops, and the ones that are there dish out pathetic stuff at sky high prices just because there is no competition. CR Park undoubtedly serves the best of Bengali snacks and sweets and tries to make up for our longing for bong sweets or "Mishti". ROSHORAJ is one of the oldest and most reputed shops serving bengali sweets. I have treid their radhaballavis which are nice, crisp and fresh and remind me of the North Kolkata kochuri stalls. Roshomalai, lord chom chom, kora paker shondesh and aam shondesh are a few more hot favorites from this place. I ensure that I get at least 2-3 boxes packed from here on all of my visits. Hop in if you like Bengali Sweets and desserts.

Undoubtedly the best kachori in C.R. Park, the samosas are good too, their sandesh is sometimes found wanting when compared to Kamala or mkt 2 Annapuran, mishti doi is ok, not as good as Kamala, other non sandesh sweets are decent, but I reiterate their kachori is the best, i have had, many people who stay out of C.R. Park, Delhi, even India have unanimously agreed that their kochuri is the best they have tried in Delhi.
