Though everything is great here. The best dish is dal malhni and butter. This combo will make your taste buds go Awwwwww. It's that good.

These ratings for the daal. This place is famous by the name Pyare Lal Dhaba. Good food, had the taste in my mouth since childhood. This shop is old as my Grandfather would be.
First thing no one near by knows this place as Sialkot rather they know it as Pyare lal ka dhaba. I remember when I was a kid it used to serve chicken/mutton curry as well which was good but that has been stopped long long time back.
Its really famous for its dal and when I say dal I don't say dal makhani rather its famous for its chane ki daal specially in lunch. Rest of the stuff is not bad but nothing great either.
There is nothing to write about ambiance service is nice though
Overall a place to bring yellow dal in lunch to your home and enjoy.
Taste - 3.5 (.5 extra for yellow daal)
Ambiance - 1.5
Service - 4
Value for money - 3.5
Overall 3.5 stars on Chatkara meter.
This is a very old outlet in this area which was earlier known as " Pyaare Lal Ka Dhaba". This place has always been famous for their Dal Makhani. They cook the Dal in the handi and it is then that it becomes Pyaare Lal ki Dal. Since then they have been even selling just the boiled Dal till today. So you need not necessarily buy Dal Makhni just take the Kaali Dal Boiled home and yourself get the tadka done as per your liking but still it will have that aroma of the handi cooking. That legendary handi is still on display in this place while the place has evolved itself as a restaurant rather then being a dhaba. Although they do not have any sitting option but this place is well known to get food stuff packed for your home. They also have tava rotis which is very rare in any other restaurant. Also their all sorts of bread from the oven are just ecstatic
