Don't think just order enjoy and thank me later. Much love and respect for the chef for cooking best biryani according to me.
It's regarding my strong feed back on the food quality and the onwer took it very positively and assured the quality of food and returned the money.
Always loved the kolkata style biryani. Place is good even for dining. Ambience is nice.
It is very old and popular in CR park. One must try this. Authentic Bengali Biryani’s is specialty of this food joint. Price and quality are upto mark.
Kolkata biryani house gives undoubtedly some of the best biryani in cr park area. The best part about their biryani is that it is mildly spiced and the Mutton is so tender that it almost meltsin your mouth.I asked the outlet they tell me that they keep the mutton in a papaya extrct to get the extra tenderness.if you couple the biryani with a Phirni it is just too good a combination.Chicke Rezala is also one thing you can give a try.
Small Hidden Gem in CR Park. Kali Mirch Chicken Tikka was very nice and differently made with chunky kali mirch coating. I found the biryani decent, could be better. Overall a nice place for dinner with friends.
Best biryani ate in Delhi !
I hd Chicken Biryani, tasty As it looks, not so spicy comes with gravy and onions,
Price is average
For a guy who lived in calcutta for 12 yrs, this is the first time i’ve tried kolkata chicken biryani coz there it is just called biryani. (A lame joke i know) A boiled potato, a boiled egg, 2 pieces of marinated chicken and rice which is full of aroma and rustic flavors serve as the basic ingredients of a kolkata biryani. The outlet was swarming with customers on the eve of durga pujo and getting a place to sit was near impossible but it didn’t take much time to finish this tasty treat and as soon as we got our hands on the biryani, it was over. Not the best biryani i’ve tasted but nostalgia earned it that one extra star.
Try to serve hot Biryani in delivery too
Me being a bengali, biryani is my favourite
But its hard to find kolkata style biryani in any part of the country.
But i have heard a lot about this place from my friends staying in delhi,so i decided to check it ov.
We ordered for 2 plates of Mutton Biryani and 1 plate of egg biryani.
Biryani was good, alu was tender and mutton was soft
But the rice wasn't that hot,i guess they gave it in a hurry.
Overall a good experience.
Its a nice cool place with typical menu from Kolkata. The limited set assures that food quality will be nice. I love their biryani and luchi mangsho.
Although I am disappointed that they use so much plastic. It is really annoying that they use plastic plate and glasses. I hope they improve.
Best roll I had till date. They have all the flavours I veg and non veg. Non-vegetarian food are more here rather than vegetarian. Atmosphere is too much non-vegetarian here as it's a Bengali market and too much fish smells in the atmosphere..
Overall good experience.
"Kolkata Biriyani House" as the name says it all !!!
There is a touch of bangaliyana whenever I visit this restaurant.
Although this restaurant is in New Delhi but it always feels like Calcutta inside 😍
The ambience and the taste makes it worth visiting everytime 😊
I do visit here once a week or I keep ordering !!
Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Roast are a must try if one visits this place 😊
The mouth-watering chicken roast is an addiction 😉
4.8/5
One suggestion : Water should be given free of cost if possible 🙂
I have been on the lookout for some good Kolkata style biryani since a long long time now and I finally came across this place last week. I was so satisfied after I had the classic chicken biryani from here. The meat and potatoes are so tender and the rice they use is of such good quality. Even the gravy that they sent with their biryani was exceptionally well-made. I know I will be a regular customer of this place now and I look forward to trying more items from their menu now. Highly recommend this place!
I first had Bengali style Chicken Biryani at my friends place in Chittaranjan, West Bengal. So I wanted to eat the same when I entered the Bengali area of Delhi. Biryani is Yummy. They should increase the quantity.
They offer one of the best biryanis with Salan in Delhi we have had , they offer the best afghani chicken the chicken is succulent and the quality of the food is quite good , this is our favourite place to go for biryani craving , you should also check out their rolls .
Perfect jaunt for all the bongs missing kolkata r biryani ar chicken chap.
Best kolkata biryani in Delhi. Tip: keep the biryani light, with less oil, that brings out the essence of zafran
While the packaging is ordinary (think old school plastic containers with some tape stuck to the sides) the food is yum yum yum. Recommended.
this is the best kolkata dum biryani i have had in delhi that reminds me of the authentic kolkata biryani of asalan .
Mutton Biryani is my all time favourite.
All their outlets are famous for the Aloo Kolkata Biryani. Delicious and heavenly. However a bit overpriced in terms of quantity. Also available are other dishes of chicken mutton including rolls and parathas. Must try.
If you are in cr park and you love biryani then this is one place you must visit. This outlet is small and serves biryani, curries, tikka, kebabs, fish. They don't have that much seating. The preparations are fresh and the taste is really good and authentic. The portions are decent for the price.
I’m basically from Kolkata and when I first came to Delhi I hated the biryani that they made here. Finding this place was a total relief to me because trust me, this place will take your taste buds back to Bengal.
I am a biryani enthusiast and keep looking out for new biryani places. I stay near CR Park and am on the lookout for good Kolkata biryani places. This places is my immediate go to when it comes to that. It's cheap, decently made biryanis and good quantity. Though not the best out there, but definitely worth the money.
We've had their chicken and mutton biryani and also their kosha mutton and chicken. It's lovely and so authentic, for a very decent price. They can work on their quantities as its too little, but otherwise, great food!
I ordered chicken Malai tikka full of Rs. 240 which I got for half the price. It took 40 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to deliver. The box looked half filled. But the taste was good. The malai was properly blended into the light fried tender chicken. It could be shared between two as side dish. They won’t provide normal water. We have ask for packed.
It was yummy and mouth watering.Remind me of home. Portion was abit less and offcoarse mutton with little more meat will be appreciated.Overall GREAT !!!
Just when I was fed up of having the muradabaadi (as they call it) biryani, I got this plate that satisfied me.
Great dum biryani. Must try!
Happy eating!:)
Loved this Kolkata Biriyani.
It's carry essence of Kolkata.
It's really a good to start a new year with this chicken biryani.
Thank you for quick delivery.
Being a hardcore Bengali outside Bengal I was seriously craving for Kolkata style biriyani with Aloo and egg. I found this place located just a few minutes away from my stay. I ordered by calling them and the delivery was super quick within 15 minutes. I ordered chicken biriyani and mutton chap. The food was good in taste and portion. It was hot when delivered. It satisfied my taste buds.
Ordered mutton and chicken biryani both tasted fab though I preferred the taste of the mutton biryani
Quantity can be a tad bit more other wise everything good
If you want to have biryani, REAL BIRYANI! then check this place out. Especially for everyone from East India. It's no Arsalan(Kolkata) but it's the closest to it in Delhi.

Keep up the good work Team, keeping the love alive for Kolkata style Biryani 👌🏻😋
Ordered - Mutton biryani + Mutton Chaap
A biryani which has fat pieces of aloo + egg + flavorful mutton = a happy girl still dreaming the sweet combination of aloo in mutton biryani. Sighhhhh! It's always brilliant, their mutton biryani!
Mutton Chaap - I could have passed on that! It didn't deliver on the spicy bengali curry flavors that I was looking for. It was a mughlai sorta gravy, if I may!
An awesome outlet in cr park. Serves authentic bengali cusine, we tried their :
Chicken biryani : one of the best i've had over the years, it had 2 leg piece, potato and 1 egg, the chicken was sooo soft, juicy and tender, quality was rice was rich. Presence of potato made the dish something special.
Mughlai parantha : its basically a fried parantha with chicken stuffing. Loved it
Had an amazing experience at this outlet

The food here is delicious. I especially love the Afghani chicken but one day I was served stale chicken. Overall, a great place to hang out with friends and family. The staffs are really nice and friendly.
Authentic Bengali food! Serves hot n fresh! Absolute delight! Ambience needs to be taken care of as it is the prime thing which attracts crowd! Good service...
We love Bengali cuisines and this place is a regular. They have maintained the consistency over the years. Though I haven't tried all the dishes from the menu as we usually order favourites like kosha mangsho, dhokar dalna, mochar ghonto, macher paturi, koraichuti kochori and pulao. Even the fish chops and kobiraji's are yummy starter options. The service team is polite and gentle.
The best Bengali Restaurant!!!
Mutton Kosha with Loochi, and, Bhetki Fish Mustard curry with steam rice is a must try.
Located on 1st floor, a bit difficult to find, but the location is accurate on Google Maps.
Food : 5/5
Service : 5/5
Ambiance : 5/5
This place was recommended by a Bengali friend. It's not a fancy place, but I liked the vibe of the place. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for food recommendations as both me and my friend were not bengali and were clueless about what to order. Food was definitely delicious and budget friendly. They neatly pack your leftover food for a very negligible packaging charge. I however feel the place could do with slightly better lightning but no complaints. Definitely a must visit if you are craving Bengali cuisine.
I stumbled upon the city of joy serendipitously. A friend had taken me here for dinner. It is pretty close to CR park market number 2 ( a walkable distance). They serve bengali cuisine. The price is slightly on the higher side, but the quality of food demands the price. We had an assorted veg and non veg meal and each dish worked hard to steal the limelight. My personal favourite was mochar ghonto, but all others were almost equally good. The basanti pulao and mutton kosha were recommended earlier and did not disappoint.
The service is reasonably fast and the waiter gave us good suggestions. The walls are filled with photographs of old bengali movie stars that try to give you a nostalgic feeling.
Great ambiance and menu. Loved the items we ordered. Staff was courteous and well behaved, good place for nice authentic Bengali cuisine.
It was by chance that we visited this place. Have heard a lot about the food here from my bengali friends. And if its so popular in spite of being located at a corner of 'the west bengal' in Delhi, CR Park, and in a shabby looking market, it surely should be special.
And frankly it was, the food was very tasty. Ambience is neat & a bit retro, very soothing. The serving staff here is very nice, courteous and knowledgeable. I ate their special fish preparation for the day with rice and lucchi. It was yumm. Go try it out guys.
Authentic Bengali food. Literally home away from home. Kosha Mangsho and Beguni was a great treat. Recommended.
The only reason I removed 1 star is because the sweets were not fresh, better skip that.
The place feels quite homely. The food here is really authentic Bengali. Ranging from different kinds of fish to sweet dishes. The Hilsa here is definitely a must try along with 'aloo bhaja' and basmati rice, a match made in heaven. The charges are reasonable.
The only thing that irked me the most was the outside of the restaurant, a little untidy. Apart from that the inside is cosy.
Except PAPDA MAACH... all the dishes are very delicious... I got the vibe of Kolkata 😊😋
Our Bengali friends took us to there and they ordered some very good dishes. Each item was delicious. A lot of variety curries. It was pure joy after having food from there. It is not like some dishes in which the gravy tastes same, but with different names. Each dish has it's own peculiar taste. Great food in reasonable price. I will surely visit this restaurant again. Loved the food.
Amazing ambience and yum food!
Worth every penny spent...
If you want to try Bengali dish, this is the place for it. Well, it is quite popular and is usually crowded. Food is quite tasty and service is good. Also, the lights are low, it's actually dim type, so it's kind of something unique type eating.
I am a vegetarian and still loved the place :)
It had a lil' to offer for me but the food was tasty and the service was good. However, the service was slow as they made it to order and served fresh. The food is reasonable. I must mention that the menu and food may not make sense to someone who doesn't know Bengali culture and food. I went with a fellow Bengali friend who guided me through the menu and the food.
I am told this is as close to Bengali food as I can eat in Delhi. And I loved it!
Goof authentic Bengali food, chefs are Bengali hence original Bengal taste can be savoured
