Earlier was nice..but this tym okok..
Should work on packaging..overall chicken roll with cream onion is nyc
Tried tawa chicken here with tandoori roti. The chicken was cooked well. Only thing was the excess quantity of butter, cream and oil that got into that. Now obviously you can ask them to put less, but the dish reqyires those it seems.
Have heard of their variety of soups, not tried though.
Outdoor eating. Area around is Not that clean. Better to order home
***************** Winter Alert ***************
This place serve mouth watering 'Chicken Soup'@60/- only đľ.
My check list for winter's begins with soup & My go to place is âPatiala Shahi Soupsâ @Vikaspuri.
My love for soup keeps on dragging me back here in every winter. Situated in DDA market its a takeaway shop with few seating and stand on tables, the whole complex is bit infamous because of people drinking there. Bit of a shady place but they serve in cars and deliver too or just get a takeaway but must try it. Service is fine it don't take time to make a soup, but every other dish may take time to reach you.
Talking about the taste they make a clear soup & add their own Sauces, Spices, Paneer and chunks of well cooked Chicken in it. Just a perfect blend of flavors to die for đ. Don't forget to ask for 'Cream Pyazzâ they just complement everything perfectly.. đ¤
If you are sick đ¤ just get it without the sauce it will be a healthy And hot medicine in winter's. They do have âKharode ka Soupâ it depends upon your taste. I personally don't like kharode so I won't comment on it, you can also try 'Paneer Soup' its the same soup minus the chicken. They do serve variety of items (check out their menu on Zomato) but I prefer 'Chicken Soup' and sometimes tandoori items đ.
My Hungry Rating will be 4.3/5 for the soup.

Famous for their kharode da soup.I have been here many times with friends....Not a family place to be but only guy's place. Cleaniness is a major concern. But the food makes for it.
â˘TAWA CHICKEN: Their speciality. One of the best Tawa chicken I ever had. Thick tangy and spicy gravy with perfectly cooked chicken.
â˘CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA: please try dis one if You are going for a non gravy item. Drenched with cream and masala . Cream onion and green chutney as a side will definitely satisfy your taste buds.
â˘MUTTON SEEKH ROLL: perfectly bbq with spice ... you'll love it.
Paneer Tikka and Afghani chicken is also good.
Great place..it has a amazing chicken soup, one of the oldest place which serve wonderful soup it also serve the paaw (kharore) soup..you can try tawa chicken and masala mutton.
Rates are also cheap ..must try chicken soup
Abhishek: âAapke yahan specialty kya hai?â (Whatâs the specialty at your eatery?)
Mr Sethi: âSir, humare pas cheezein ghatt haan, par saari special haan.â (Sir, we have less items in our menu, but all of them are âspecialâ.)
Meet the hardworking Mr Sethi, who usually stands at the cash counter but also marinates the chicken, slices onions and manages the workers. Mr Sethi told me told me that originally they used to sell only soups but now they have added more items to their menu. The journey started by the current ownerâs father on a wheel-cart has now reached to a proper shop, where delivery and takeaway options are also available. But there isnât a much place to sit. Youâd find a few plastic chairs and tables but they are very less in number and stray dogs will roam around you if you eat there. People (usually males), in the evening, would often come here and eat. Also, they covertly drink there.
I tried their Chicken Soup, Kharoda Soup (Bone Broth), Tandoori Chicken and Keema Chicken. The onion salad that they give along with the food has a lot of cream in it, and like Iâve mentioned above, he called that cream-green mint chutney-onions as their specialty. I could believe that since many people were actually asking him to give onions with extra cream; his USP Iâd say. SO coming onto the chicken soup â it was thick, and had too many flavours. I could feel the corn-starch used to prepare the base of the soup and along with it many spices were added. It had a tangy taste and shredded boiled egg whites, Paneer and shredded Chicken were added in it, while the bread croutons were added while serving the soup. It was spicy, and tasty. The Kharoda soup was hot, in terms of the spices added to it. Red chili powder, Garam Masala powder and green chilies made it a tad too spicy for my palate but it was definitely worth having. The owner told me that they have been selling these soups for about 25 years. Itâs only 6-7 years ago that they have shifted to a shop.
Tandoori chicken was roasted to perfection, neither too much nor too less. I asked him about the ingredients he used for preparing the marinade for chicken but he was apprehensive about telling it. From what I could tell from âreverse-inductionâ method or by tasting, the chickenâs marinade definitely had yogurt, hint of garlic-ginger, red chili, Garam Masala, with black pepper on the higher side and food color. When the chicken was roasted, lemon was squeezed over it and was garnished by chopped Green Coriander leaves.
My experience says that mostly all such eateries/eating-joints manage to prepare such âdryâ items pretty well but the gravy items act as the differentiator. I finally got to taste the Keema Chicken. I had high hopes with this but to my surprise it looked a bit yellow (most probably because of the extra usage of Turmeric powder). The taste was not as good as I had expected. It had too much of tomato and ginger in its gravyâs base and less of onion and garlic. The spices were mild in this one. The gravy was thick and the chicken used to prepare this dish was semi-roasted. I had this dish with Rumali Rotis, which they brought from somewhere else.
My final verdict would be that this place is worth going but only to have soups and dry items (appetizers). For main course (gravy) items, this place doesnât have much to offer in terms of quality and taste. Itâd be best to take-away your food or to get it delivered at your place (only if you live in Vikas Puri).
Cost for two (Approx.): Rs. 200-300 (for people with normal appetite), Rs. 400-500 (for people with larger appetite â like me :P )
