Was staying near the airport on my last day in Delhi and was hunting for a good restaurant in the stretch to dine out . Was quite hungry and luckily came across Moti Mahal . Quite a famous chain in Delhi . We quickly ordered the crispy chilli honey potato , Veg Biryani and Chicken fried rice . The service was quite prompt despite being a busy time . The food was served fresh and the quantity was quite sufficient and the started was extravagant . The staff was polite enough to switch on the TV on our request . Loved the food and the ambiance was welcoming as well . The pricing was not very expensive either . Will definitely visit again when I’m in Delhi .

I have a brilliant idea that will let the Indian government deliver world-class infrastructure and solve all welfare problems. It's simple horn tax. Fix an electronic counter to all vehicles and charge 1 rupee when the driver presses the horn. It will raise billions. On my one mile trip to moti mahal delux I counted and my taxi used the horn 47 times, and of course not one of them was necessary or achieved anything apart from helping to make the streets an unpleasant place to be. Across India this would quickly add up to more than the entire USA gdp. India would be rich! Of course there's a risk that drivers would stop using their horns except in emergencies, which is what they are supposed to be for, but that would be an even better outcome .... Anyway moti mahal delux was recommended to me as a stop off on the way to the airport, and it's a treat. Set in an Unpromising street in an unpromising area, the food is above par, good value. Smokey, tangy tandoori chicken, juicy delicate afghan chicken, rich dals and very tasty cauliflower. Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighbourhood, or need your Indian food fix before getting on a plane out.

Exceptionally good place for North Indian cuisine. In the heart of South ext 2. There is lift to go up . The menu is quite well planned and the tandoori stuff is great . The naana are amazing but a bit overpriced , I suppose . Plan your menu to eat well because the position sizings are good.
Best fine fine in Delhi, the food is top notch!! Be it the starters - paneer tikka, drums of heaven, spring rolls it is just so good! For main course butter Chicken is mashallah 🤌🤌, also dessert wise gulab jamun, kulfi is a must try.

One of the finest place in South Ex. We had enjoyed the ambience as well the food equally.
Loved their shakes especially their Chocolate Fudge shake.
They have really nice service and one of the best ambience you would find in this area. They had a lot of seating capacity and not to forget the best Paneer tikka too.
We had order following Starters:
:- Watermelon Lemonade ( tastes like real sweet watermelon) must try in mocktails here.
:- Virgin Mojito ( unique in taste)
:- Dahi me Kebab ( Soft and delicious with the proper stuffing of Paneer)
:- Tandoori Murgh ( marinated well and was soft & Juicy )
:- Amritsari Machi ( luscious with a great taste)
: Veg Spring Roll ( full of flavours)
- Veg Garlic noodles ( cooked well with fresh veggies in it )
In main course we had:
:- Dal makhani ( staple food to my meal)
:- Pineapple raita ( sweet with fresh pineapple * in it )
:- Lacha Parantha ( soft and served hot)
In desserts we had:
:- Gulab Jamun ( must try in desserts) had a great taste)
:Kesar Pista Badam kulfi ( faluda Kulfi served with lacha and was full of dry fruits)
Overall a nice place to visit. Will surely recommend this place. Will again visit here soon.

A great regular dine venue to grab some good quality food and the service.
The paneer ordered was quite good. The breads were too elastic to chew and gulp down the throat.while the manchurian served was little dry it tasted exceptionally good . The nimbu masala drink served was little more on salty side than balanced. Price wise little high . Taste wise advisable but can be improved.

I recently visited to this restaurant with my mom and we really liked the food and ambiance. They Serves the best North Indian food in south ex . The paneer tikka and fruit tandoori was really good and would love to visit again soon.
Excellent food and excellent service. The ambience was very good. The service was with a smile. That's the thing one looks forward to while dining out. Parking is easy. The restaurant is a bit expensively priced and the quantities are generous. Highly recommended. This is the where butter chicken and dal makhni were invented. Only thing they can improve on a bit is the service.
